We worked with Brandon to build our diving pool/spa/fire pit. Brandon is a great guy and knows how…read moreto build pools in Idaho. I am from Arizona and had a ton of questions for him since I am generally familiar with pools. He took the time to explain the differences of building a pool in Idaho, including why certain materials don't work in Idaho due to the climate difference. Because Brandon had worked with our builder previously, they put him on their schedule so the project could be completed before our home was finished. Every step of the way we worked with Brandon on adjustments and he was great at coming up with design suggestions both up front and along the way as needed. On one instance, we came to him asking about adding a return line for a water slide. This was right before they were going to fill in all the trenches, but he jumped on this change with zero push back and even adjusted the concrete footprint to accommodate the change. On another instance, Brandon let us know that the length of the pool was just a foot shorter (not his fault, the builder plans were just slightly off on the plot lines). This meant our Baja shelf steps needed to be adjusted from our original design to preserve the size of the Baja shelf we wanted. He immediately came up with an alternative design to the steps that looked great. Even post build, Brandon has been responsive on fixing any issues we noticed after the fact. I would 100% recommend Brandon to anyone looking to build a pool.

Secoma Pools installed a 20x40 inground fiberglass pool last year…read more Being a first time pool owner I wasn't able to monitor construction with any type of knowledge about the process. But now after a year of asking and researching pool construction I can with considerable confidence rate their installation as very poor. My pool is off by about 3 inches from one end to the other, they tried to hide it by using a lot of chalking. Chalking is now falling out. I warn anyone to not use this company. If one department of a company is like this I would assume the fencing dept is the same. Stan Parker Shanker1@msn.com.

We continued the service with Pool Doctor just to get us finished and closed up for the year. The technician who came out filled out his worksheet saying he had done all the services including scrubbing the sides and removing debris. We weren't home when he came out, but we checked the pool upon arriving home. Nothing at all had been cleaned. There were hundreds of worms in the pool and lots of other debris like leaves at the bottom. I spoke to the company and complained. The owner returned a call and acknowledged that the technician may have cut corners if he knew the owners were out of town. Still the owner didn't offer to come make it right, he said they could clean it up in the Spring. I don't feel like I want to pay for them to come clean up in the Spring what should have been cleaned up in the Fall. By the way we were still required to pay full fees as if all the cleaning had been done. I would not recommend this company. Update: I deleted a couple of things from my above review after receiving a phone call from the owner of the company and discussing the circumstances. We had a good conversation and I really appreciate his follow up on this matter. There were misunderstandings and assumptions made on both sides. Though we don't agree on all the details of what happened, it is clear that my complaint fell through a hole and didn't receive their typical level of follow up. He assured me that they always strive to keep their customers happy and that they have systems in place to deal with complaints as well as incentive systems in place to keep their employees motivated to do their best work. As a gesture of good will he offered to reimburse us for the fees we paid. We appreciate his gesture as well as his follow up and as a consequence we are replacing our one star rating with a three star rating.

They'd rather just replace the motor. Then also stated that replacing the motor would take 3 hours. They contacted me repeatedly about the estimate and said that it always goes to everyone's spa folder. Still couldn't locate it. Asked them to send it in the previous email they had corresponded with me through. Finally after several weeks I got the quote. So I compared their quote and realized the motor was 1/3 the price they quoted. Quoted 3 hours of work. Won't be using them.
