They are a family owned business and operate with the community in mind. They are always super friendly and helpful. I love that they offer to help their clients with carrying their water to the car! They have great service! They offer many sustainable solutions to water containers, from plastic 5 gallon jugs, glass 5 gallon, and many more smaller options as well in both glass and non BPA plastic. The owners are super informative about their water and products and always offer helpful advice on how to store alkaline water and what containers are best for flavor and PH. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking to switch from plastic bottles to a more affordable and sustainable way of living. They have limited parking available but there is usually a small wait. They also offer carts for those who are strong enough and able to load their own car! Overall it's a great shop!

A cousin or Uncle or friend of his had a water store in Azusa. They do a lot of business. More cost-conscious individuals he says. He says in Pasadena - not so much. He has high end electrolyte/ 9.5 alkaline water. $2/gall. He says you dont taste the difference as much as you "feel" the difference. He showed me the whole system. He charges .50 cents a gallon. Trader Joes "natural mountain spring water sells for the approximate equivalent of $2.29/gall (the 1.5L bottles they sell for .79). And the aim is to drink 8 glasses a day! 1/2gal/day. If u drink 1/2 that(which is really very little) Its about 8 gallons a month. Should b 16. Lets say you drink 12galls/mo. On avg that's $27mo. You get his alkaline water w/ electrolytes - healing water - for a lower price or get cleaner-than-bottled drinking water cause that sits in plastic and his dosnt. And its costs $6 instead of $24. A bit odd to be rating a water store, but here goes. I didn't really know what to expect of this place, but a friend had recently "introduced" me to water store water, and after having drunk mostly Brita filtered water at home, and the occasional Arrowhead, Crystal Geyser, or Costco bottled water when needed, her water was so much more crisp and clean-tasting, more Smart Water than Dasani (which I believe is universally despised). So I went over there, a small shop with two automated water dispensers outside built into the wall, and inside, different sized water bottles and a counter-area on the right with various types of water. The man working there was curt but professional. I was clearly a newbie and eventually settled on a 5-gallon water bottle that was around $26, as well as a pump also about $26, and he filled my bottle with the reverse osmosis water which was $0.50/gallon. The 5-gallon water bottle was one of two more expensive ones which he said would last some 10 years, and the pump was very easy to install and negated the need of a separate dispenser with a spigot to drink out of. I've since gone two other times using the automated dispenser outside. It takes both cash and card, but there is something like a $0.75 upcharge for using credit, and I believe the machine only takes $1 bills so bring 1's.

It's a small place - and street parking can be tricky. But I was fortunate to get a spot right out front. I stepped inside and saw the various containers of products and was pleased. Not only were there things that I use every day, but the prices were ridiculously affordable. Isela (theeee sweetest person) gave me a brief, but thorough "tour" that was absolutely fascinating. She answered any and all of my questions and provided me with a few donated containers for my purchase. So far, the star of this visit are the scented lotion and hand wash. Can't recall the name. But they are pricier than the other products. I don't care at all. I LOVE the scent. As a matter of fact, I'm going in this weekend for some more of the hand soap. I have it in my bathroom (foaming pump) and my kitchen (regular hand soap pump). I also diluted it to use as a shower gel. YES, doggone it!!! I'm kinda addicted! This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: I went back in for more hand soap concentrate and some retinol serum. By the way, soap and lotion brand name is "Further". Alyssa assisted me and she is an absolute DOLL. And I met her husband and best friend, who happened to be in the store. Simply delightful. I think this is going to be another one of my "happy" places.
