We worked together on three separate projects, and in every one, his quality of work and professionalism truly stood out. First project: Elliot installed a French drain in my basement and noticed damage to the walls, so he recommended and installed a special polyester wall barrier. He walked me through the entire process with patience and clarity. I waited a full year before writing this review, just to make sure everything held up--and I can confidently say, even through heavy rains here in Medford, NJ, my basement has remained dry. His work speaks for itself: solid, clean, and reliable. Second project: I still had high humidity in the basement, so Elliot suggested and installed a whole-house dehumidifier (AprilAire E100). He connected it directly to the French drain system, so I no longer have to worry about emptying water or dealing with moisture. It runs efficiently and quietly--even when I'm traveling, I have peace of mind. Third issue: Recently, I had water flooding in the finished part of my basement. I thought it was the water heater, but Elliot offered to stop by just to help figure it out. And he did--within two days, exactly as he promised. He quickly diagnosed the issue: it was actually the AC pump, not the water heater. Thanks to his advice, I was able to get the original installer (under warranty) to fix the problem. Elliot didn't have to help with that, but he did anyway--because that's the kind of person he is. Beyond his technical skills, Elliot is honest, communicative, punctual, and just a genuinely good person. He always followed through on his word, showed up on time, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Even when I had concerns, he didn't brush them off--instead of just talking over the phone, he came in person to give me peace of mind. I also want to give a shoutout to his partner Phillip, who was also fantastic to work with, and again, to Susan, for being so welcoming and helpful from the start. After working with this company three times, I can honestly say: I highly recommend JustDryBasement to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and peace of mind. Because of this, my kids haven't been able to safely play outside, and I've had to put off hosting family gatherings all summer. The most frustrating part is that the job has already been paid for. The repeated excuse has been that he's "busy," and communication has been inconsistent, my calls and texts are only answered when it's convenient to him. I appreciated the quality of the plumbing repair itself, but customer service and following through on completing the job have been very disappointing. I purchased an older home in 2017 and the siding did not look bad but 6 years later I noticed lots of problems. My biggest problem was it was always so cold in my home. I had a few windows replaced and the attic insulated but that did not really help. When the windows were replaced I noticed significant deterioration underneath the siding and asked the contractor about it. He told me it happens and replaced the windows but did not reframe them. I thought about selling my house to avoid dealing with the problems. I had three different companies give me an estimate for the siding. The first was way too expensive. The second company Cherry Roofing and Siding in Cherry Hill, gave me a competitive quote but were unable to do the job. . I later found out that the company is having internal problems and they are not doing a great job for many of their clients. I was very fortunate that they never touched my house. I almost gave up, but then I decided to use the Better Business Bureau. I found American Construction. They have an A+ rating. They are also located in Cherry Hill. When I called I was able to talk to one of the owners Gregg. I told him about my negative experiences with the other companies and he promised me nothing but integrity. Gregg kept his promise, his team was incredible. As I said earlier my house is old and had lots of deterioration underneath the siding and because the siding was poorly installed there was also some water damage. I expected the final price to be more than the original quote, but it was well worth it. American Construction replaced all of the damaged plywood, gave me new insulation , framed the windows and put on James Hardie siding. Not only did they restore my house, they were quick and professional. They started on Monday and by Thursday the project was finished. Friday they came back and cleaned up, placing all of my personal items back in their original spots. Doing something this major on your house can be very stressful and inconvenient. . American Construction took all my stress away and I did not suffer any inconvenience at all.. I feel like I have a brand new house. I feel so much better about living here now that I know what is going on underneath the siding. I have peace and joy about my home because of American Construction.
