Waterproofing One has saved me on more than one occasion from flooding in my basement, first one…read moreside and then the other. I live with a steep hill behind me and a thick stone wall over which water comes down like a waterfall during very heavy rains. Joe was just here, made several suggestions to me as to how to alleviate the problem and reroute the water flow. This company is great, the office staff always friendly and helpful and I will always recommend them to anyone with water entry problems. Sally Greenspan

Absolutely ridiculous experience. Left multiple messages and even contacted via website form for an…read moreactive water penetration crack in my poured concrete foundation wall. When someone did call me back, I was driving and set up a time for an appointment and asked that she call me or email the appointment date and time. Never happened. Called several more times and nothing. I wasn't even living in the property in question and it was sheer coincidence that when a guy showed up to give an estimate, I happened to be at the property. It was for a crack in a poured concrete foundation wall. The guys solution was to address the crack, but then also break the poured concrete pad and basically put in a drainage pit. If you're at all familiar with Radon remediation - WORST IDEA EVER. And, totally unnecessary if you fix the crack properly. And to boot, the price was outrageous. Given the effort of just getting them through the door and their "fix one problem, but worsen another" approach (the radon), we found someone else who fixed the crack without disturbing the floor and it was perfectly repaired with no leaks in the heavy rains since that would've normally caused the crack to pass water. About 2 weeks after their estimator was there, the owner (I imagine) of the company called and asked if they could set up an appointment to come out and give a quote. Seriously? I gave him an earful. Would never use them. My recommendation: find a mason like I did.

I had noticed that the kitchen stove was tilting down at the left rear corner. In addition, a…read morecloset door along the same wall had started closing by itself. Just as others have said, calling and talking with Susan was a great first contact with the business. Unlike many service companies, she is quite familiar with the company and its approach to their work. (I later learned that she had been a customer and eventually started working with them - a truly excellent review in itself.) It turned out that the ends of some of the joists in the crawl space were resting on crumbling 70 year old concrete. The solution was to employ a metal support beam from close to the entrance of the crawl space all the way to the back wall as close to the crumbing side wall as possible to support the leaning joists. Once the work was done, I was surprised to see that nothing seemed to have changed. I was advised to wait a few days and that they would look to come back to make final adjustments in a couple of months. Three days later, the closet door stopped closing by itself. By the end of the week, it stayed put wherever on its path I moved it to. Another week and I could see that the low corner of the range had improved a little. It's been a bit more than a month now and I have gradually lost my fear that the kitchen floor would collapse as I was cooking. The cost was exactly as quoted, although they did more work than they had originally planned to. Just Dry Basement is an excellent, fully professional organization. I suggest that you call them without any hesitation. I can tell you that I have received no remuneration of any kind for writing this positive review and feel sure that no one else has either. They are simply that good!

This car drove quite recklessly throughout Montgomery ave. They tailed me, cut off a car, and then proceeded to cut me off too. Montgomery is known to be a busy street with lots of road work in the morning, so you should plan ahead to leave earlier rather than put everyone on the road in danger because you're late or maybe just because you're impatient. I have no way of knowing if that person works for the business or just supports the business, but either way it should be known that it's not a great idea to promote a business on the same car that you use to aggressively cut people off.

James at Mainline Waterproofing was absolutely fantastic to work with. Extremely communicative (responded in real time to me on text and emails), quick scheduling, knowledgeable and professional. I felt so confident they would do the work correctly. We weighed the pros and cons of several options and they didn't pressure us into doing more than needed. Ultimately we put in a second pump/pit and window well drains. James also introduced us to a general contractor he knew (who has also been fantastic/communicative/speedy!). They coordinated on the work, visiting the job site together, making us even more confident. My biggest thanks to James, Herb, and the rest of the crew.

I kept them updated after every step of my to-do list that they provided between cleaning out the basement, breaking down the laundry area, and upgrading my electrical to accommodate the battery backup and separate breakers and outlets. They spent 2 days at my house working (3/30/26 & 3/31/26). When they were done, they told me that they would need to come back in a week to tighten some bolts because they had to pour some concrete and needs longer to cure. I said OK and just call me when they were coming back. Work finished 3/31/26. 4/8 - I texted the salesperson asking when they would be coming back. I was told that she would reach out. Nothing further. 4/30 - I texted again asking when they would be coming out. I was told to let her message him. Nothing further. 5/11 - I texted again about their return. She said that she would reach out again. 5/25 - At this point I was annoyed and texted her to just forget it. Told them now that they are paid and got their initial positive review that they don't seem to care . That I was disappointed. Doesn't give me hope for their yearly inspections for 5 years to make sure everything is still running well. So, I am taking away a star from my initial review.
