I had a recurring leak for several years. Previous contractor did not fix the issue. I found Moisture Master Pros using ChatGPT. Technicians are professional. They were able to detect the area the leaks are coming from without invasive measures. The project is estimated to take a week to complete, I think the work and time they are putting in is a good price. They are doing a great job with repairs. read more

It's unbelievably hard to find a good, reliable team in Philadelphia when it comes to fixing leaks! We had a terrible experience with another company that left our son's bedroom ceiling open for months and couldn't figure out the issue -- they basically gave up and told us our situation was "too complex." After months of frustration, we decided to reach out to Moisture Master Pros, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Josh and his team are the real deal -- professional, sincere, and absolute experts in leak detection and mold remediation. They found the actual source of our leak, water-tested, and repaired everything -- all within just two weeks. They even arranged for cleaners to tidy up our home once the project was done! Every step of the process was thoughtful and clearly explained, and Josh is just an all-around great, hardworking guy. We're so grateful to have found this team and finally have our home back to normal. If you're looking for a team you can actually trust -- this is it. Don't waste time looking anywhere else! read more

I want to do a re-do after some time and thinking. Josh and Hank did a fantastic job. The communication can be improved but that's a small issue. The main issue is finding the leak and fixing it and they did that and more. When the water was pouring down in my bedroom they came over a weekend on Sunday evening to support and help me contain the water "leak". Next morning they found the split down spout and, were kind enough to let me sleep, and told me when I woke up. They fixed it. The reports are very clear and detailed. They give you all the information they've gathered and pictures of before and after. Overall, I am very grateful for the tough job they did here in my home. I haven't had a leak since they're work. read more

Moisture Master Pros beat the high expectations I had already set. They came at 8am and left at 7pm. Their attention to detail was special and in tune with the standard I hold to my own work. They hit every exterior spot to seal where water could come into my basement. They even resealed/drylocked the interior basement wall where we were having issues though it wasn't on the quote. Very adaptable, friendly, detail oriented, and worthy of praise just from the initial job. They come with a 5yr warranty and will fix any issues that occur in the job area within 48hrs. Will also update after some time has passed. read more

Josh and his team were magicians. Absolute pleasure to work with, reliable, knowledgeable and pleasant. They helped troubleshoot and seal and issue with exterior roofdeck and siding area and not an ounce of water has gotten in since. Would highly recommend. read more

EDIT: They have since reached out and made sure to make everything right with us. Kind, knowledgeable, and very professional! I'm so happy someone was finally able to come over and help us find the source of our moisture problem. I can see where the good reviews come from now haha. I'd definitely recommend them to everyone I know. ---------- They no showed on us twice. To be honest I'd be okay if they called or even texted us that they were going to be late but they haven't kept us updated at all. I get being busy but I'd rather be given a later date than having to keep rescheduling. I'm not sure where the miscommunication is. Maybe they just overbooked themselves? I wish I knew what went wrong because everyone else sounds happy with their service. read more

Requested an assessment due to bubbling and cracking of drywall/paint in the corner of a room where there had previously been leaking from the roof. Josh came out and did a thorough assessment of the whole house and documented his findings and recommendations in a comprehensive report. There was no pressure to use Josh to make the repairs but given his attention to detail and commitment to quality I knew I wanted him to oversee the repairs so they were done right. Josh and his team did a great job sealing the house, fixing/redoing the stucco and the entire side of the house, and fixing an issue with the downspout that had been causing the continual leaks in the room with drywall damage. Not only did they fix and prevent any moisture issues but the repaired stucco looks great and the house is much less drafty. read more

I discovered my sewage was not draining properly in the basement and caused it to flood. I found Moisture Master Pros on instagram. The owner came out a few days later and assessed the issue. 6 days later, he came out with his assistant and they pumped the water, cleaned and sanitized the basement. They also sealed the lid to the valve with which causing the issue. Everything was done in 7 hours. Will highly recommend this company for their professionalism and efficiency. read more

After contacting over a dozen contractors of all types to look at our interior wall with no success, we luckily found Josh who came over next-day to thoroughly evaluate and send us a complete quote with a one year warranty. Josh and his team were extremely professional, on time, and did an outstanding job. Our wall looks better than before the moisture issue, and they finished ahead of schedule. If you are having any type of water issue, I would fully recommend Moisture Master Pros. read more

They came by to check for moisture and mold. Very thorough, explained what wet cellulose insulation would look like, had cool equipment.

Josh is the best! We have had a leak that has persisted for a few years in our center city rowhouse and no one has been able to fix it- until Josh! Josh was able to diagnose multiple leak sources and repair them, was so easy to work with and very fairly priced. I would highly recommend Josh (and already have to friends). He's trustworthy and skilled at what he does. read more

Loved our experience with the moisture master pros. Super responsive, prompt, friendly service, super clean and very fairly priced! We called so many contractors to come out and take a look at our ceiling leak and no one would do the job. Joshua came out, quoted, came back less than a week later and once working realized the job was easier than initially quoted and fairly changed the price without even asking. We can't wait to call him up again to come out and help us with more projects. read more

Josh from Moisture Master Pros was very quick to respond, completely understood our water damage issue (which turned out to be efflorescence), and we were able to schedule and complete the repair within 2 weeks of our initial contact. Josh was professional and knowledgable and we definitely recommend moisture master pros and will be using them in the future! read more

The company seems really nice and I cannot rate workmanship. However, as someone who works in the construction industry and has called three other waterproofing companies the fact that there is a $300 charge to come give me an estimate seems extremely high considering I had three other companies coming out for free estimates. This stopped me from even considering using this company. read more

While out of the house, we had a toilet hose burst and water rained from our 2nd floor down to the basement for several hours. Josh helped us out majorly by evaluating every part of the floors, walls, and ceilings that were affected for residual water. He was so patient and helpful, answering any and all questions, and even offering to diagnose any other water infiltration issues we may have going on in the house. He also gave us great direction on how to remediate the problems in an affordable and aesthetically pleasing way. Josh and the Moisture Master Pros are the best! read more

Josh is the consummate professional and incredibly easy to work with. He knowledge on water infiltration is unmatched and his work speaks for itself. Thank you, Josh! read more

My husband and I are landlords and often call on this company for assistance with our rental units. We have been working with this company for the past 3-4 years and keep coming back! When we contact the company, the owner is always easily accessible and very responsive. The owner continuously makes himself available for consultations, quotes and repairs. Whatever we need! In addition, him and his team are extremely knowledgeable. It's always comforting to know we have the best of the best handling our repairs and issues. Also, the prices are fair and reasonable. The prices are very competitive with similar companies but the level of work they provide is unmatched. It's hard to find good and reliable companies these days so we are very fortunate to have them as part of our team. We continuously recommend them to family and friends and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future!! read more

I own a property in center city and I can't be happier to have found Joshua and his team, a true gem and an asset for Philadelphia to have such a professional in moisture barrier and carpentry/contract work. I had a non-traditional water leak in basement where I contacted/engaged with most of the contractors in the area without much success. Many knew how to describe the problem but none had real solutions. I found Moisture Master Pros on Yelp and Josh contacted me right away and on his own visited my property to assess the issue. He immediately analyzed and detailed the problem I was having with an exact scientific resolution that I was able to practically comprehend. His pricing was honest, fair and was supported by his analysis which comforted me to accepted without resistance. Josh kept up with the timeline and was transparent with his work/$$ throughout the whole project even though there were many unexpected surprises coming both from the project and myself. Josh never gave me a hard time or looked for ways to upcharge, he accommodated all issues/changes with great attitude/communication to make sure the project was completed to my satisfaction. Josh meticulously chased after every water entry point in my basement to stop the leak completely and my basement is completely dry at this point. This lead to another project of adding a new entry door to the building which he custom built/fit and all done to my satisfaction of timeline/$$/courtesy/professionalism. His company and team are a gem and I have more projects lined up just for him and his team! I highly highly recommend Josh and his team! read more

Josh is a great guy to work with and takes pride in his work. He is professional, educated, and a good communicator. He and his right-hand man, Carmen, are friendly and attentive. I hired MMP for multiple different projects around my house that required a wide range of skill sets. He was on top of his guys and made sure each of them did a satisfactory job from both his perspective and mine. I'm a very detail-oriented person that tends to get very involved when working projects with contractors, and Josh was happy to include me in the process of each job. He was very good about understanding and correcting any issues I had as the work was being done, big or small. Even though we had several schedule delays (to be expected with the amount and variety of work I was having done) Josh did not stop working until everything was complete and leak-free. His sub-contractors were also great guys that knew their crafts well. I would recommend MMP to anyone out there who is having any sort of leak and needs a solid GC. read more
