For the price it's pretty solid. Good location you can walk to Waikīkī beach and all the shops, room size was good, clean room, and view on balcony. Staff was very nice and helpful. Only downside is the parking super super narrow parking lot (if you rent a average size car like we did (go very very slow your your will scratch your car in the lot and they charge daily additional parking.

I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and for the price it can't be beat. Now it does have a mixture of AirBnB and regular hotel rooms but they are all the same, just managed differently. The location was near everything but I docked a star off because of the loud noise. Also because of the parking situation. It is a nightmare getting in and out. With that said, parking was included with my room at no additional fee. If you are on a budget but you still want quality I can't recommend this hotel enough. It is the best price that you're going to get in this area and quality. Search for MrBucketlist Aqua Palms Waikiki on youtube for my full video review.

    Dark elevator no lights

Posting for my friend staying at the hotel, doesn't have a phone because it's dead and the power is out. And she can't charge it. This is the worst hotel do not stay here been out of power for 2 days, roaches in my room, no hot water will not do anything except resort fees. No answer of when power will be back on. No elevator or lights at all. All customers have to walk up stairs with no lights. Very unsafe. Do not stay here spend the extra money for a different hotel. Booked through Expedia and they are not helping either.

Upon arrival you need to buzz in for parking. If you have a VRBO reservation you probably have a reserved parking spot, if not it is first come first serve on spots above the reserved parking areas. Be extremely care making the turns as it can be extremely tight and not all vehicles are made the same, turn as tight, or are parked and tucked in as the should be. There are signs of people's vehicles scraping both pillars on each turn. Don't add to it! Parking (if not reserved is $35 a day plus tax. There is a pool on the second floor open 9am to 9pm. With an exercise room also on the floor open 7am to 9pm. There is a tiny utility closet on each floor with a trash can to drop your trash in, but obviously it can fill fast as it's not a chute or large bin and it's for the entire floor. Self-service laundry on level P3A for $2 a wash/dry with credit card only. Soap/dry sheets are $2 quarters only. The sheet I got on check-in says open 24/7, but the sign in the area says 7am-10pm. ‍ Hakuyosha dry cleaning service is available M-F 8am to 5pm. Same day service is available, dropoff form (available at front desk) at the front desk before 8am and pick-up after 6pm. Note: if you reserved through VRBO or something similar you probably do not get cleaning service, so keep that in mind as you prepare for your trip as you may need to bring some supplies or buy at the ABC Store.

This spot is right in the middle of all the bustle of the city. Walking distance from the beach, restaurants and gift shops. Large shopping mall not too far away either. Prices are good but no amenities are offered other than parking and complimentary coffee in the morning which is more than fine for the price. Your parking spot is designated before you even arrive, please be aware that the garage is narrow and very steep please be careful driving and parking ALWAYS. Ice is offered about every other floor and a small pool is on one of those levels too. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Smoking spot right outside the hotel to the left, right past the IHOP. This place was very enjoyable I hope to come again if I ever come back to Oahu

Fun birthday weekend/ staycation at the Aqua Palms Waikiki. Reserved online and was pleased a room was available during the busy holidays, we were so lucky! Visitors & Kama'aina's to get to the Aqua Palms make sure to pass the IHOP Restaurant then take a short right up to the steep ramp entrance. Since it was our first time staying at this hotel we couldn't find the parking entrance. Yikes!! Next, from the speaker box Inform the front desk that you have a reservation, then the gate will rise and let you in. There's a kinda steep hill to drive up to but it's okay. Parking is $25 a day & available on a first come, first served basis. Per front desk okay to park anywhere except in the reserved stalls. Rooms are clean and comfortable and there's also a self service laundromat. IHOP Restaurant located on the ground floor and Waikiki is there to explore! Will definitely visit again, we had a nice weekend. A Hu'i Hou Aqua Palms Waikiki!

I was not able to play tourist as this party had to end by 2pm and I had commitments thereafter. But for future hotel guests information, they also have dolphins for you to see. The food here was incredible and of good quality. Good for any type of gatherings of any size breakfast, lunch or dinner. Bartenders and service at the bar was even better! The amount of attention every table was receiving was amazing, glasses were never empty and always started with a full pour. Self parking was completely full, although valet parking service was a better idea. Keep in mind this is a full service 5 star property located in Kahala/Waialae. However, on my most recent trip, I decided to try the Hyatt Regency, thinking the lounge access and more resort-style atmosphere might be a better fit for my elderly parents. We booked three rooms for our family, and I can confidently say that this stay completely changed my perspective and that is largely thanks to Grace at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Grace went above and beyond to make sure our check-in experience was seamless and welcoming. Traveling with elderly parents can sometimes be challenging, but she handled everything with such patience, warmth, and genuine care. She was incredibly attentive to our needs, thoughtfully ensuring that our rooms were convenient and comfortable for everyone in our group. What truly stood out was her ability to make us feel valued not just as guests, but as people. Her professionalism was matched by her kindness, and it was clear she takes great pride in creating a positive experience for those she helps. She anticipated needs we hadn't even expressed and handled every detail with ease and grace. Because of her exceptional service, what was meant to be a one time stay at the Hyatt Regency has completely changed my preference moving forward. Grace's hospitality exceeded all expectations and made our trip that much more memorable. It's rare to encounter someone who leaves such a lasting impression, but Grace absolutely did. She is a true asset to the Hyatt Regency, and I sincerely hope she receives the recognition she deserves. I will definitely be returning and recommending this property to others because of her.

During that time, the property experienced a loss of power and water, and the elevators were not working, which made things quite challenging. Waking up to the ocean right outside our window made it all worthwhile. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the front desk, maintenance team, and all the staff members we interacted with were all very friendly and really helpful despite the difficult circumstances. Their positive attitude made a big difference in our stay. The location is def a huge plus, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, making it super convenient. The pool is a bit small and tends to get crowded, but it was heated, which was nice, and we really enjoyed the SWIM bar and restaurant. The food and drinks there were surprisingly good but they have a new menu so I was disappointed I didn't get to try some of the items I saw on the Yelp reviews . That said, the original room was surprisingly dated, worn down, stained furniture, and not especially clean. Definitely not the luxury standard I was expecting for the price point. Royal Hawaiian shopping center is right across the street, and so many shops and restaurants are right downstairs from this hotel. You can't beat this location. The room was amazing. I booked the 2 doubles suite. The room has a great galley kitchen with all utensils, glasses, plates, full fridge with ice maker, microwave, etc. The bathroom is so huge and luxurious, separate tub and shower and bidet. My room had NO view, basically looking at another building. I was On the 7th floor. The rooftop pool is spacious and I liked the plunge pool and spa. The bar was closed which was disappointing. For the price and the room details I would definitely stay again.
