This place used to be great but it is under new management and I will not be returning after today. They have an "express wash" like you would get at a gas station or you can pay more for a detailed wash. The cheapest one starts at $55 and they insist on adding additional fees if your car looks "exceptionally dirty". That's why I'm here, right? I honestly just get a weird vibe from this place. Makes me uncomfortable. The guy I talked to was not super friendly and I just get the impression that they don't really want you here. read more

Went down to Aqua to get my car hand waxed, they did such a good job I had to come on here to recommend them to everyone. Parker at the front was very friendly and helpful with telling me about the services they provide. Jose did an excellent job on the wax and the interior looks great as well! Aqua is usually ok. Today was odd, it seems all of the workers have been replaced by some sort of a work release program. A bunch of shifty looking kids with bad tatts and half open eyes. The quality of the wash was mediocre at best. The guy tried but the attention to detail was not there. Watching the new kids work you could tell that they had very little training. it was a great experience.. I think i spent 45 minutes using the free vacuums, air guns, towels and cleaner to really get the inside of my car CLEAN.. I have had hay, dogs, and kids in my car and it needed a clean.. was so impressed with all the little extras that most car washes don't provide. read more

As a transplant to the area, I've noticed that the Texan practicality spirit of Do-it-yourself seems to limit the number of full service car washes in the area. However, I'm glad to find a local business that does a thorough job. During the lunch hour, I pulled my truck in, selected Aqua Supreme wash $29.99 and job was done in 25 minutes. The senora detailing the interior made a noticeable effort to get all the surfaces polished and windows clean. She was appreciative of a 20% tip, and I was Very happy driving away in a very clean truck. No 5 star since the man at check in tried to charge me an extra $10 for vacuuming, because I mentioned I had a little pet hair. He was training a lady and told her to automatically charge it if they say they have pets. He did not present it as an up-sell service. He stated as if it were not optional, so I felt it like a price gouging technique. However, I advised him that the standard vacuum in the package would be fine to get it clean. (Only had the beagles in the truck once and had covered the seats with sheets. So hair was minimal to none.) read more

I recently purchased a membership because foam brushes that they use on the vehicles. However, I realized that this carwash was just to far for my wife. I requested a refund and was told that they didn't do refunds. The Assistant Manager, Emilio Aguilar, became very belligerent when trying to explain that he couldn't do anything about it and just walked away. Later in the week I spoke with another manager and was still told that the company was not going to do a refund. Here is the crazy part, I never even used the membership. They just automatically took the money from my account without ever receiving any permission from me. I never signed a contract of any short but was told that it was automatic once I purchased the membership. However I was never told this nor give any paperwork explaining anything of any short. Till this day they have never refunded me anything. This is the same a stealing. Please be careful when dealing with this place. read more

We just tried this car wash. Paid for 2, but when we got to the wash area, the gentleman tried taking our receipt, and was reluctant to give it back. What was that for? I have to commend Aqua on the job they did today washing/cleaning my car. My experience lately with these types of car washes has been less than positive but Aqua did a very nice job. I purchased the lowest rated car wash that includes an interior wipe down. I believe it was $19.99 which seemed a little on the steep side. However, both the exterior and interior of the car were visually spotless when they were finished. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the windows and interior of my vehicle. The place I seem to frequent the most never seems to get my dash wiped down completely. Today, Aqua not only wiped down the dash but took the time to clean out my cup holders. This definitely made me happy as I use mine all the time so they get dirty. We all know that the quality of the wash can very well depend upon the random person that gets assigned to finish detailing your vehicle. The young lady who did mine today did a very nice job. To top it off, I found a few dollars that someone had obviously lost. I did look around for the owner based upon the license plate that was on the receipt. I then realized the time stamp on the receipt was from three hours earlier. So, to the person who lost the money, thanks for covering my tip today. I gave it all to the person who cleaned my car. Bottom line: They are way too far away from my home for me to be a regular but based upon my one experience today, when I am in the area and need a car wash, I'll stop here and let them do it. This place sucks! The staff is under staffed so you're waiting for someone to grab your car for 20 minutes, then when someone finally gets to it there's water spots and if you ask them to fix it they try to charge you more! You can hear the managers yelling at the stall telling them quantity over quality anytime you go in. And their car wash breaks down all the time! The only thing good about this place is the cashiers! I come here almost twice a month, I just came in to get my Jeep cleaned and the main guy walked up to us, looked at the car and said I'm not gonna clean it. His reason was "he didn't want too" I asked what his name was, he walked away. I went and got manager he told me yes we can clean it, but the man kept saying, we don't have the resources they close at 6 we came in at 5:20 we pulled the car away cuz he told us too and let 3 other cars go before us, gave us attitude. I've been coming here since they opened (over 10 years). They've always done a good job. Today however, different story. They had me in line for 38 min before I even got to the vacuum area. I paid extra for a hand wash (supposedly with soft mitts). I look over and they are scrubbing it down with what appeared to be a nylon brush with an extended handle. Well of course I voiced my concerns and stopped them. After I voiced my concerns all I got from "Charlie" the attendant was, "That's just the way it is, that nylon brush won't hurt your paint". 2 hours start to finish!! I get there several minutes before 6 and they tell me it is too late it will take too long. I asked the manager guy he said no he can run it through the car wash machine but that's it! Fool me twice, shame on me. Wanted a full service car wash about 4 months back so went out of my to go here as there is no longer an Aqua in my area. I got there and the guy said they were short staffed and I would have to wait 2 hours or longer. I left. Checked online today and looked at packages as I wanted a full service car wash.. Drove over again only to be told they have "new" system and the packages start at $59.99. I could use self serve where cheapest package was around $25. It was frustrating because none of this info is on the website, nothing on their answering system and there are no visible signs when you drive up. Brought my girlfriend's Infiniti in for a detailing. Cost was $175 if I'm not mistaken. I dropped the car off and headed home to wait to pick it up. After 3 hours, they called and said it was ready. When I got there, the car was not done. They were still cleaning up the interior and the mats. I was in a hurry, but when they finally finished I gave the car a quick inspection. Interior surfaces were cleaned very well and the floor, seats, and mats all looked brand new. However, once I got the car in some better light, I noticed that the exterior looked like it hadn't been touched aside from the headlights being polished a bit. The wheels looked like they had been slapped a few times with a rag and the tire shine was applied in splotches. No care whatsoever had been taken to clean around the car's logos and their was dirt still built up around the letters. I was appalled that I had just paid $175 for something that a $10 gas station car wash could have done. It really sucked having to give her back her car with the exterior looking no different than before. My opinion: don't waste your time here. Drive down the road and select any of the other car wash options in this area. I've taken my truck here one time before and it was the same story. I thought, surely they were just having an off day and it couldn't happen twice. Well it did. I'm not sure what's happened in the last few months. The usual workers are gone, replaced by slow, unmotivated guys. The lady at the front desk is the same as usual, so that's why I gave 2 stars. My car was vacuumed well the last time- but that's it. I had to wash and polish my vehicle when I got it home the last two times. I even pointed it out to the attendant this last time and he begrudgingly grabbed a filthy rag and acted like he couldn't get some dirt streaks to wipe off?!? When they're on target (& less busy), you'll get great service & a pleasant experience! They do hustle when there's a long queue, so expect less personal attention & maybe a few missed spots. I have never been 100% satisfied with any car was I've gotten in Texas but these guys come the closest of the many different washes I have tried. As long as I'm in The Woodlands Aqua on 242 will be my CW of choice. The value beats the heck out of the other nearby washes and they do a much better job. Had to settle for the supreme package and was promised a detailed interior. Not so see pics! Don't waste your time or money!! When I asked the guy who cleaned the car if the inside was completely detailed, his response was "I don't know!" You just cleaned my car and Seriously, you don't know?? I have thought long and hard about doing this review. Back in a September I took my 2015 F250, Ruby Red, in for a detail. You see, the house next door to me was being built and over spray made its way on to the truck! I searched and searched for who I thought would do the best job of making my truck what it used to be. I found Aqua Car Spa! They were a bit on the high side price wise, but, I wanted to go with a well established and trusted organization. This decision would later prove to be the best decision I have made in a while. During the process of restoring the paint something horrible went wrong. There seemed to be what looked like burnt orange marks all over the passenger side, engine hood, bed cover, and roof of the cab. This was my worst nightmare coming to pass; my Ruby Red was not so nice anymore. Needles to say I was angry and frustrated. I immediately brought this to the attention of the management team and the owner. They immediately took an interest and began their own internal investigation. Remember when I said this was the best decision I made? Well here is the proof... The management team took responsibility for all of the imperfections and immediately contacted their insurance agent for claim purposes. In the end, my Ruby Red was fully restored to my full satisfaction and I must say to the Aqua Car Spa team, "Thank you for making this experience a pleasant one". If this had happened anywhere else I would shudder to think what would not have happened! read more

I'm so disappointed! I spent $99 today on the ultimate wash package with a $50 add-on for my car to be waxed. There are still dead bugs on the front of my car. I took it back through to make sure they didn't forget to wax it, and they said it was waxed. I feel like I wasted a ton of money, and my car is still dirty. It wasn't extremely dirty when I took it in either. I've been coming to this location for years. I went in to get a car wash. As I finished paying, I noticed they had an unlimited car wash program so I inquired about getting a monthly membership. The cashier handed me a brochure and I sat down to look at it. I found a plan I was interested in and asked to get the monthly program instead of the single car wash I paid for. I was told I couldn't switch over because my car had already gone through their machine (which it didn't, it went in about 5 minutes after our conversation). I was told, "Oh, you can just get it next time." Well, that kind of defeats the purpose. I'm already paying for a car wash. I would have rather paid a few extra bucks to upgrade. It wouldn't have been a big issue if someone would have informed me first, or even approached me when I got there. Needed my car washed because I was trading it in that day. It was nasty I put my make up on in the car so the dash sparkled as my husband would say and the cup holders had dirt and something sticky. The exterior door handles had thousands of little scratches from my nails that I was sure would lower the value of the trade. I dropped it off @ Aqua thinking I was going to spend north of $100 to get the interior detailed. But to my surprise for $69.99 they washed & waxed the outside and detailed the inside. When it was assessed by the dealership they told me I must have really loved that car because it looked like I took great care of it. This is one of the better car washes in the Woodlands. The facility is nice and is clean. The wait can be long though. Takes 30 plus minutes to vacuum, wash and dry a car. They have an express option. Be warned that this does not include drying. The same for the monthly fee program. It is a nice option if you are not expecting the car to get dried after the wash. read more
