Woodlands Auto Spa - Waiting room - Car Wash Near Me - Conroe, Texas

Five years ago it was $30 for an excellent detailing job at this location. Now it's $70 for a shit job. Costs twice as much and it's half as good, which is to say it sucks. Don't bother going there. You can spend anywhere from $70-$160 but you sure as hell won't get your moneys worth. Look elsewhere. It sure as hell ain't an employee problem, it's a management problem. They've got them working for less than they did ten years ago and in worse conditions. read more

I have gone to this place for 14 yrs and on 9/26/22, I took my car there for a hand wash when one of the attendants didn't close the car door properly, allowing water to leak into the car!. They also used really dirty towels because it now I have scratches in the paint job that were NOT there before!. "Emilio" agreed to refund my money for this service and as of 10/5/22 it has not been credited to my account! My advice to potential customers is either find another place or do it yourself. Today I'm having to pay over $1000 for paint correction to put the car back to the state it was in before taking it here! read more

This is the only place I get my car washed! I've been many times and today I had a coupon that wasn't working, but two staff members were polite and prompt and fixed my coupon with no issue! My car is always clean and I love that I get to vacuum it myself! It's a nice reset and I can always depend on this car wash. And the price is so reasonable relative to other car washes. I've never had a bad experience and the staff are amazing! This is the only place I get my car washed! read more

Incredible incredible job. I went in thinking this was just a detail so I could put my car on the market, now it's as if I fell in love with it all over again! They got out 2+ year old stains and made it smell wonderful and shiny. The workers were incredibly kind and honest with the time it would take (2 hours on the dot!) and for under $100? I couldn't be happier. read more

I first used Aqua a number of years ago when I lived on Allen Pwy. They have always been very thorough and the one in the Woodlands appears to be as concerned about care. Best car wash in town hands down! I went by today (Sunday) to get a wash for my truck. The staff was super helpful from beginning to end. Prices are reasonable as well. These guys are awesome! I am always happy with the friendly and professional service I receive when I have my cars cleaned there

Zero stars actually. Just tried to get a wash and they've changed their model. Self serve only or $50 for detail. I told the owner "I need someone to clean it for me so, Thank you anyway". He proceeded to badger me about not doing it myself, and said I could try it for free. Again, I said " no thank you, I already have a membership at a self-serve. I came here because I can't clean it myself" Then he said very rudely, "just clean it yourself here for free! And don't you have a membership here?!" I just said again, no thank you and drove away. His attitude is why I don't have a membership there, why I haven't been back in months, and will never go again. read more

The ONLY reason I gave this place one star, besides the fact that Yelp made me, is the fact that the manager was actually somewhat pleasant. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Money Here. Here's why: I pull up in my truck and Charlie greets me outside. Charlie is not wearing a mask in the middle of COVID. Charlie proceeds to tell me, "Yeah, the lowest price I can do on your truck is $54.99." This is not usually true, but they have taken down the menu board that have been up every other time I have gone there. I looked at him and said, "Don't you have a price list?" He said, "Nope. You'll have to take me at my word." After that, I told him that my dogs got my back seat a bit dirty. He opened my back door and said, "Oh... That'll be an extra $10 because there's pet hair on the seat." I said, "You have a policy about pet hair?" He said, "Yeah. And, I'm actually being really fair about that." He proceeds to COUGH into the back of my truck (I'm also 9 months pregnant). I got out of my truck to pay. After sitting in the lobby for a little while, I noticed that no one had masks on. They have a sign on the front door that says they require them. So, I went up to the desk. My friend Charlie was there with an older gentleman, who I later found out is the manager. I asked the guys who owns the place and Charlie gets defensive and asks why. I repeated my question. The manager said a name, and I asked for a card, which they refused to provide. Charlie, in the most condescending way says, "Why, what is it? (Shaking his head and rolling his eyes)" Do you need something??" I said, not from you, since you're being so condescending. I'll talk to your manager without you. Get out of here." Anyway, I talked to the manager alone, and he was very apologetic and friendly. He made gross Charlie put on a mask, which he did for all of 10 minutes. TWO. HOURS. LATER: I get called for my truck, and go to it. They did a nice job on the outside. The inside, however, has spots that look wet all over the seat where they actually spilled armor all. The seat is still filthy, and they just did an overall sloppy job. I'm attaching a photo of my truck seat AFTER they were finished. Just.... Don't go here. There are 100 places to go in the area- I highly recommend Sparkling Image in Conroe. They fixed Aqua's shortcomings for $10. read more

I've been a pre-paid monthly member for the premium package wash for over a year. I have really seen this place go downhill, equipment failure seems to be very problematic. I tried to stop in this morning only to find the conveyer system not functioning. I know for a fact this has been failing now for several months! Two of the big brushes was down for an extended period of time1 month ago, soap not working and I even started carrying a towel to finish drying my vehicle since noticing not all of the blowers functioning. Management wake up and make some investments back into the equipment. Lots of compition popping up all over with newer more efficient equipment....and cheaper! Putting GM$ over customer service and equipment will pave the way for an out of business sign. read more

As I sit here waiting for my vehicle to be ready. I noticed several issues with this establishment. The lack of prices on the car washes with only a verbal amount being given upon your arrival at the bay. It was not busy by any means yet I waited for my vehicle for over an hour already (no, it wasn't ready upon writing this). I have been coming to this car wash for quite sometime, but since my dealership has a "free" car wash I would get it done there, but this time I wanted an overall better quality clean car. My vehicle finally was completed and as I checked inside, overall is was cleaned well. The welcoming feeling of this business is not what it used to be. The waiting area is worn down, the snack area as well. read more

I am very sad. I have been going here for over 15 years and have always been happy with the service - today was my last day. I went in today to get my oil changed and as always got the car wash that has always been included (you used to be able to upgrade too a higher level car wash - which I normally do). They charged my an additional $50 for detail service. That is not what I asked for. If you change your business model it needs to be clearly stated. Emilio kept saying how dirty my car was....that is just weird. What does that matter. He was missing the point - I was charged for something I never agreed to. Sad to see a great car wash company go down like this. read more

Inside Cloth on Pillars in my car hanging like Angel Wings!!! I've been here a couple times before with average results. This last time I asked for the total package which is suppose to include total armor all inside and out. When the lady waved the cloth in the air I came to check on my car. She had only armoralled my tires on the outside. So I told her the guy said they would do around the windows and door handles etc. She stated most people don't like that. I told her I do. Had to go to my car 3 times before she did almost all of it. Super annoying. Plus she didn't have the little narrow sponge to apply the armor all precisely so it ended up on my paint and windows. Very sloppy! I was so concerned with the crappy exterior job that I didn't pay enough attention to the inside job. The dash area and console appeared to be ok so I finally drove away. While driving down the road a ways I noticed how oily the dash board was. If it was the middle of summer I know eggs would have fried on it no problem. Later at home I opened the back of my SUV and noticed that armor all wasn't applied at all. Now the shocker. Still driving down the road I noticed with my PERIPHERAL VISION the CLOTH THAT USE TO BE ON THE INSIDE PILLARS OF MY CAR HANGING LIKE ANGEL WINGS. I guess maybe while the lady was working on my SUV somehow she grabbed onto them, obviously real freakin hard. Don't recommend them for detailing. Were just ok on basic wash and wax package. read more

Sometimes in life it's all about living and learning and sometimes it comes at a price. This is one of those times. Dropped off my car for a full detail $325 It consisted of a full buff, wax, interior detail, etc ... Yikes... Why did i do it? 1. It needed that extra attention due from not having been done in quite awhile 2. My sons wedding was coming up and I wanted to show up in nicely detailed car. Problems: 1. I showed up and the cars exterior and windows were not clean. Dust and dirty windows and exterior. Why was this .... the car was finished two days earlier and no one called me. Although they had the correct phone number and my phone showed no missed calls or messages they claimed to have repeatedly tried to contact me. 2. For $200 the buff and wax "ONLY" applies to exterior surfaces. No door jams , no trunk jams, and unfortunately does not include getting them to remove the wax residue that gets on the rubber trim and interior door jam and trunk interiors. And it seemed like I was asking them a huge favor in asking them to address this. He stated that no business ever address these areas. Maybe so, but could you at least wipe them down and take off the wax residue? 3. Afterwards, there was some dirt clogs on the passenger side carpet so I drove up and asked them to vacuum them. Yes, I could have gone home and done it myself, but, I also paid to have the entire interior detailed as well. Leather seats, dash etc. Once again, it seemed like what I asking was an big inconvienance towards them. This business does a brisk business. Unfortunately, that sometimes causes a lack of attention to detail. I would recommend them only for your basic in and out car wash services only. Don't drop $300 plus and expect to get a lot of attention to detail. read more

I wouldn't allow them to wash my car anymore. Had them do it one time and it was baddddd. I go every day to this car wash to keep my car perfect and I just do it myself. But I do watch these guys pressure wash the INSIDE of vehicles they are cleaning... and that's stressful lol knowing these people are going to have wet carpets etc when they get their cars back but I've been using aqua wash since I moved here 7 months ago. They have updated equipment for you to clean your car yourself and I really enjoy the air machine and vacuums they have because I can keep my car in perfect condition. I have the monthly membership that I pay $35 for and I go thru 2 times a day every single day due to the fact that I use my vehicle for work and have to keep it in perfect condition. If your just going to wash your car yourself, their equipment is great! But WOULD NOT recommend them being responsible for washing your vehicle. Charlie, the manager, has always been kind to me and helpful. read more

First the wash is awful! Not a good job at all. The owner/manager is a complete jerk and very cocky. I told him the prices were too high and he argued that he has the best price in town, when is clear he does not. He tried to convince me that I was not comparing apples to apples. Then as I left and back my car out I saw him saying a------ so he is a rude coward on top of everything. He forgets the customer is always right! Also there is a car wash in the Woidlands that uses meguire which is much better than armor all. Cheaper too!! I stop there the ranting. Don't go there is my advice. We don't need this kind of unfriendly crap in the woodlands. Get out!!! Go simoniz in Panther creek!! Much much better and friendly! read more

Quick and easy. Great value. In and out in15 minutes. Us e the monthly deal. It's worth it if you wash your car more than once a month.

2010 - about 2017: we used to come to this car wash whenever we wanted a deep cleaning on the cars. The attention to detail, customer service and finished product was amazing! My family and I always recommended this to friends when they were looking for a place. 2017 - 2019: service started to decline. I started realize the guy who took payment/order would talk to you and just seem aggravated by you being there, however the other employees were fantastic and helped make the trip. In about 2017 my dad got the monthly subscription, so The only interaction with employees I had was after getting my windshield sticker scanned and giving the ticket to the gentleman that started the car wash. I did seem to notice that the number of employees drastically going down. I would also notice that the guy taking orders and payment seemed really angry all the time when talking to customers though, but hey, we all have bad days so I figured that I was just seeing one second of a much longer story. 2020 - now: my girlfriend went once in early 2020, wanted to get her car very detailed. She pulled up, asked the same guy that has been taking payment for years and getting progressively angrier that she wanted the delux. He flat out said no, he was only doing the highest tier level(what she wanted) or just the drive through one. She told him she wanted the highest tier and he said "well that's not the delux". She told me she started getting a bad feeling and just left and spent more money somewhere else. I had an experience with the same guy that resulted with being yelled at and him throwing the ticket in my car because he told me to go into the wrong lane and he expected me to pay $10 to do what we pay monthly for, which I refused. This place has gone downhill and it's sad. That in addition to my car still being soaking wet as the dryers at the end weren't working correctly just caused us to stop going there. I'm also going to talk to my family about terminating the monthly subscription and spend money where we can actually get a quality product after using their services. read more
