Sometimes they have decaf coffee. Often not though. The AC is really cold here so better to bring a sweatshirt. They have a TV running with subtitles and free Wi-Fi. Worst tire shop service ever, manager is the problem. I had a tire installed and the other 3 were to be picked up the next morning at another location and installed the next day. I received a call the next day that the manager decided he no longer wanted to get the other 3 tires, apparently it no longer mattered what he had told me since he was able to sell the one last tire of that type. The person who called me was extremely embarrassed that the manager would do this and agreed that it was wrong to treat people this way. The manager wouldn't call me himself and would not even talk to me, but left me on hold for about an hour when I finally hung up. I have been coming here for years but they will never get another penny from me and I will tell everyone I know about my experience. the store manager understaffs the store so terribly that it is taking 5 times the quoted time for a simple tire sensor replacement. they don't know what they are doing - i keep getting notifications that all of our tires are flat and the manager didn't care when i called to ask what was going on - said he doesn't have a boss and he is the store manager. area manager needs to do some unexpected visits and find new management asap - this person should be working at chipotle or mcds, not overseeing others working on people's vehicles. read more

I took my vehicle to fire stone about a year ago to get tires and alignment. No problem and the price was reasonable. A few days ago I allowed the air to leak out of my tire completely by forgetting to remove an air compressor and the tire slipped off the rim. The young man in his mid 20's claimed we needed new shocks and tires on the car that was 4 years old. All from looking at the car 20 ft away...He was extremely rude when we questioned him on his evaluation from walking near the car. First time going because my car wouldn't start and I had to get it jump started. Took it here and they diagnosed my battery and changed it. I never spoke to the guy who worked on my car at all but Carl I think his name was kept me informed in the front office. He was sweet and talked to me about a lot of stuff car related and what not. Don't recommend this place at all... place didn't seem busy and took 4hours to do an oil change. On hour #3 I was told that car would be next and called an hour later and was told the same thing. I got really upset and told them that I would pick up car. Went to store almost an hour later and car wasn't done... I did voice my frustration as to why a 4hr wait... One time they wanted to cancel and another time they said an oil change and rotation would take over 2 hours. The counter said that there were only 2 techs on duty. I wish I was able to not give them any stars at all. It's just ridiculous how with an appointment at this location that it takes hours for an oil change and tire rotation and balance. When at other locations it takes half an hour for a walk-in! I love Firestone and trust them with my vehicles, I use them for every service done. I will NEVER come back to this location again. The Hunter alignment machine doesn't recognize the vans specs., no alignment. At this point . Next it took another hour to replace one tire. I left at 12:15 pm Zero response from the front end team. On 3/6/2021, I noticed my 2010 Ford Edge was leaking gas. It was late, and Firestone was one of the only places open. I dropped my car off that night. I called that Sunday, and I was told the fuel tank needed to be replaced and I was quoted around $2k. They told me they would order it and it would be there the next day, so I did not get a rental. My boss had to pick me up the next day and I had to Uber to/from work several times over the course of this chaotic experience ($$$ super expensive). I called to check the status on Monday- I was told the part was there and they would call me back. I then received a call saying that it in fact was NOT there and was going to take approx. 2 weeks to get one. So, just to be clear, I was lied to. At this point, I was told they had already removed the fuel tank and pump, and it happened to be Spring Break and LITERALLY not a single rental was available until Wednesday. I requested to speak to a manager. The manager, Miguel, called me and I complained about the lack of communication and the misinformation. He said he would take a look and call me back within an hour. He did not call me back that quickly. I don't remember at what point THIS call was made, but I got another call saying I did not in fact need a fuel tank, but I did need a fuel pump. The leak was on the fuel tank, so I don't get that, but whatever. The cost now went down to about half the price, and I was told it would still take about a week and a half. I planned on getting a rental that Wednesday. Miraculously I got a call saying the car would be done 3/9/2021. What miracle workers to get it done in 3 days vs the original 2 weeks. **Sarcasm** I was so upset at how this was handled I told them I wanted to pay over the phone because I did not want to see any of them in person. I asked them to leave the key in the center console and lock the car because I have a pin pad. They did NOT do this- instead they left the car UNLOCKED and the key on the front passenger seat. What a GREAT way to end this situation by putting my car in a great position to be stolen! Additionally, I paid for an oil change, which has always included windshield wiper fluid in my experience, but not even a week later the washer fluid was dry. I will NEVER use Firestone again, and I plan on posting this exact message as a review on every platform available. Prior to doing so, I would like to give you the opportunity to rectify this situation by crediting/refunding some or all of the cost on the Firestone credit card due to the totally unacceptable and unprofessional experience I had. It was store# 591513 and the invoice# was 334204. ***I sent that to corporate. They had the manager I previously dealt with call me- I told him I wanted to talk to corporate and hung up. I have been doing business with Firestone since 2016 with no issues. I brought my car a 2014 chrysler 300 into the Firestone location located at 16802 I-45, Conroe, TX 77384 on 2/22/2022 to have test done to see what could be causing my car to stall. I was advised that it was a radiator and it needed to be changed and also my thermostat and a coolant flush was needed and my car would be ready at 5pm after all the tests were complete. I came in at 5pm and my car was overheating and the tech was working on it and I asked what was going on with the car because it wasn't doing this when I dropped it off. The tech took the car for a test drive and noticed the car was still getting hot which mind you wasn't happening when we dropped the car off the day before!! I then turned the heater on an it blow cold air instead of heat. So i went inside and had the tech come out and brought it to his attention. He stated he asked his tech that worked on the car was he sure he plugged the radiator fan in and he said he was sure he did. So I took the car and they did A block test stated it was a possible head gasket but could not be for sure because the test came back inconclusive. I was charged over $700 for the work done. I took the car to the Dodge dealership and they did another test and found that the fan was disconnected at the time the radiator was changed also there was a hole in the hose that connects to the radiator, which caused my car to overheat and also caused the gasket to go out. Now due to the tech not connecting the fan he needed to do has caused me over $9000 in repairs and has most likely totaled my car motor. On 2/26/22 I came into the office we spoke to Dalton and He first offered use to credit both repair fees but that was unacceptable due to the engine is now needing to be repaired. We agreed that is what we wanted he stated he would look into and contact us. He did contact us and provided a quote of $5400 so we were gonna be charged!! We don't feel responsible for a repair fee that was caused by your tech not doing his job correctly. We have contacted corporate and updated the complaint and we hope that Firestone will do right by a customer that has been loyal to them since 2016!! read more

Went in today for just an oil change and was welcomed by a young man. He ask the normal... what can I help you with. I told him I wanted an oil change. He then proceeded to ask me several questions. To which all I knew was GMC 1500 Sierra. He told me he needed more information and I told him I did not know it. He then laughed and said you half to give me more than than man! I said I will get it done somewhere else and walked out. As I was driving away he comes walking outside and starts eyeing me down. Have just a little customer service. All the guy has to do was pull the truck in the bay and get all of his questions. But, I guess he doesn't get paid for that. read more

I didn't have the time to disagree with them as it was very clear that they didn't even remove the wheels off my vehicle. One of the only auto shops open on sunday- glad it worked out because i had a great experience. I am getting ready for a long car tide and wanted to get the tires checked to be proactive. I was greeted by the guy at the desk, he pulled me up from a past visit like 10 yrs ago in my college town. He had a tech look at my car and they completed a complimentary inspection. Wife brought car in with noise coming out of front right wheel well. Firestone told her the brake pads were gone and that all 4 rotors were destroyed and it would cost $900. When she called and relayed this to me I told her to just bring it home and I'd replace the rotors and pads myself. When I pulled off the tires, I see that the front pads were worn, but not completely gone and the rotors were smooth as silk. The read pads still had some life in them. A $50 pair of brake pads is all it took to complete the $900 worth of "work" Firestone wanted to charge. I'm unsure if the mechanic is crooked or incompetent but I'd be wary going to Firestone. read more
