Just in time for the holidays, we had 1950's clay pipe clog to the point of no return. Ed and his dad had done work for us on a belly in the line almost 10 years ago. I called Ed Jr. again for this new section of main line that had gone down. This is a guy you want doing this kind of work. He was totally optimistic, reassuring and the work was well priced. He was at our house in two hours getting us an estimate and back at 9 am the following morning (a Saturday) to start the work. To say we were impressed is an understatement. Ed and his crew were outstanding. They showed up when they said they'd show up, got the work done over the weekend, were unbelievably nice during the whole process and put our landscaping back as if the whole repair had never happened. Living in an older house like ours is going to have this kind of maintenance and Ed and his crew are who you want.

Unprofessional, disorganized management - Left job unfinished after weeks of no-shows and excuses…read more Review: I hired this company for an electrical project and paid for the work upfront. While the initial rough-in work was done well, the management and office communication since then has been an absolute disaster. I have been trying for three weeks to get them to finish the final trim and fixture installation: Week 1 & 2: I was repeatedly promised the technician would call me to schedule. I was completely ignored both weeks. Week 3: I finally got them to schedule a day. I received numerous text/email confirmations, took time off to be home, and nobody showed up. When I called for an update, the office admitted they never actually dispatched anyone and failed to tell me. This Week: They rescheduled the original technician for Thursday. On Wednesday, they called to say he had been in an accident and rescheduled him for Friday instead. On Friday morning, they called to cancel again, stating the technician couldn't make it due to the accident. Why did management schedule an injured employee for active field duty without checking his condition, rather than simply sending a different electrician to finish the job? My project is completely stalled, the wires are sitting exposed, and I have paid 100% upfront for labor and fixtures. I asked to speak directly with a manager to settle this, but my request was ignored. I have deep sympathy for the injured technician, but this company's administrative staff is completely incompetent, dishonest about dispatching, and uncommunicative. Avoid this company if you value your time.

I've referred Chris to countless clients for everything from routine repairs to water heater replacements, and he has never once let me down. Every single client comes back thanking me. That alone says everything. But my personal experience with Chris is what truly sets him apart. I hired him for a massive remodel on a 1940s home -- we're talking converting a 2-bed/1-bath into a property with three bathrooms, two kitchens, and two laundry rooms. The plumbing scope on a project like that, in a home that old, is enormous. Chris handled every twist, every surprise that old house threw at us, with calm professionalism and genuine craftsmanship. The work was flawless. Responsive, honest, fairly priced, and the kind of person who takes real pride in his work -- Chris is the rare contractor who makes a stressful process feel easy. Highly, enthusiastically, unreservedly recommend.

I don't have the slightest idea what the going rate for a plumber is so I can't say if his prices were fair or not. I can say that I was very pleased with his response and his work. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
