Service is inconsistent. The wholesome employees do a great job initially spraying around the house. However, the less "informed" employees ignore directions and they don't do a good job. They are less wholesome and that's why I cancelled Aptive. I want a service with only nice, educated employees. read more

Terrible. Pushy sales rep who blocked me in my doorway and wouldn't let me close the door!!! After 40 minutes I was getting scared and agreed to pay the $38 dollars for whatever service he was selling just to get him to leave. About 10 minutes later I got a contract from the company for $119 A MONTH! I called to cancel and within 3 minutes the sales guy was back at my door pounding on it and ringing my doorbell for 6 minutes straight. SIX MINUTES!! Stay away from Aptive Environmental, a pest control company. When I signed on for a year, I was promised that the contract would not auto-renew. But when I called to cancel after 10 months, I was told that unless I called them on the exact day of the first anniversary of the contract, services would continue and be charged to me. (No kidding.) When I spoke to a supervisor, she told me that they had no way to cancel in advance, and so I would have to pay for part of the second year if didn't call on exactly the right day. I pointed out that this was a form of auto-renewal, even if they were not calling it that. Why not just do the one-year cancellation now? She had no answer. A scam. read more

I give it a 1 because I can't give it a point 5. The only way they got a point 5 was because they showed up. The first couple treatments were OK, hard to tell, But the last one, the Tech walked up, rang the bell, walked into the back yard, took some pictures and left. I was home but not ready to answer the door. the man was gone in 6 to 8 minutes. I don't have a mansion but it takes a lot longer to walk the property. Th customer service was not friendly either. Aptive tech came on my property and sprayed my herb and pollinator garden with Bifen destroying it. I did not request this service. I reached out to Aptive, they said they would replace the garden. They provided me with a contact to send estimates. Suddenly, the contact they provided disappeared. (the email and phone number no longer work) I reached out again to the headquarters in Utah. I was given a different email and contact information from a new person who was "devoted to helping me". I sent him the estimates. He disappeared as well. I took them to small claims and Aptive did not show up. Now I have to file a default judgment and hope to get reimbursed to fix my herb and pollinator garden. read more

Zero complaints, the technicians are always polite informative and respectful. Anytime I have an issue they are quick to respond and address the issue. Would recommend to everybody. I also love that their products are eco friendly gave me a piece of mind for my dogs and kids. read more

Buyer Beware they sell you on "no inside house treatment needed". they send treatment application regardless of weather (rain snow) for outside your home. try and reschedule an appointment you cannot reach anyone. they treated our home 3/31/23 then we started to see inside issue. called company for another treatment and was told earliest reapplication would be 3 weeks! Requested a manager they finally sent a tech out 2 days later. Tech shows up looks at issue and needed to call his manager and Leads to find out how to treat! needs to treat inside our home. Treats inside and perimeter of windows. 2 hours later after treatment dried it was as if no treatment was performed. Same activity. I called the tech and he tells me it may get worse before it gets better. well it got worse plus the paint and caulk around my windows where they applied treatment has peeled away from the windows. Called again they we're supposed to send another tech today and no show. so I now have same problem but with damage to windows! read more

The next day I had a different man come to my home (Steven) to do the service and he was very thorough. I just had my 2nd treatment completed and have seen no ticks at all. I saw an ant and called to get a re-service and they took care of it! they Can be hard to get ahold of but their Service really works. I would recommend them for sure!! read more

A sales rep came to my door and I felt pressured to sign up so I scheduled an appointment even though I have not had any issues with insects, though at some point I know I need to treat. I tried to cancel, but the rep called me and I felt bad so I scheduled for a later date. I just called to cancel my contract and before I had the first appointment next week and spoke with Jamie, Loyalty Manager, who was wonderful and very understanding and helpful. Before reaching her, I maybe had to wait 5 min on the phone to speak to someone, but my contract has been cancelled and no appointment next week. I am writing this on behalf of the very nice experience dealing with customer service, and would give that a 5-start rating, but since I did not have the service, I cannot rate on the company as a whole. read more

The professionals that come seem thorough and do a good job.  I'm only giving 3 stars because it was supposed to be quarterly services, but they've been coming every 2 months instead of 3.  Took me half a year to notice.  They said it was a "glitch in the system".  Otherwise, I would have given a higher rating. A pushy salesman knocked on my door. After some back and forth and price cuts I thought I might be getting a good deal. They came multiple times and we continued to see pests/critters. When we called and told them that the service wasn't producing any results, they just offered to come and do the same thing again. We cancelled and got charged $250 despite the salesmen saying there is no cancellation charge. They do this by making you pay for the first treatment which they give you for free. We switched over to Aptive in April and we have regretted it since. We have never had so many spiders and webs around the outside of our house. Yes, the offer free re-services but they do the absolute bare minimum. We have cameras outside of our home and we can see the lack of efficiency of these re-services. We have asked many times to speak to someone in person so we can go over problem areas around the home. We both work full time and asked for someone to please come after 4:00 so we can meet with them. We were assured they would and that the Senior Technician would call us before arriving. No notice, no phone call. When I arrived home, the Senior Technician did not bother to introduce himself or ask what the problem was. He said "I sprayed and I'm dusting. I'm almost finished." He made absolutely no effort whatsoever to help us. He got in his truck and left without a word. We are absolutely disgusted with this company and it's service. Not only are the technicians unprofessional and unable to perform their duties, but all this company cares about is their social media following and referrals. We are switching back to our original company and I would never refer this company to another home owner. read more

2nd month with aptive and really enjoying the service. The app is extremely helpful for scheduling appointments quick and painlessly. The reps come out on time and are always very pleasant. Most recently the rep Marvens Bissereth came out. Really nice, explained everything he would do very well. Even came in the house with booties ready so as to protect my carpets and sprayed some interior areas, putting down glue traps. Really nice guy and efficient. Overall, highly recommend the service. We had our first quarterly service with Aptive today (initial service 30 days ago), and our service pro was Treyvon Hodges. Treyvon arrived ready to perform the service with a smile on his face and a personable, friendly, and very positive attitude. We had a great conversation, and Treyvon completed the service in a timely manner. Treyvon connected on a personal level, which inspires trust and a personal connection to his profession. Our ant problem has been 99.999999% remedied, and I will recommend aptive to friends and fanily that may need the service. So far, everyone we have dealt with from aptive has been extremely polite, professional, and personable. It's extremely confidence inspiring to have people you can trust to handle these issues, and we will continue to have aptive service our home. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They give you a bunch of false promises, have you sign a service contract and then they don't deliver on said promises. They will then charge you $150 when you need to switch to a different company out of necessity. They serviced my house 4 times including the initial service, each time I saw no beneficial results, the problems actually got worse, to the point where after their last visit I called up and requested they come back the next day and re-do the job, I was told by some nasty woman they would come at a later date when they were free, I requested to speak with a manager, no manager was given to me, I requested a call from the manager and was never called, I even contacted the corporate offices and requested help, they said the branch would call me and still no call... I'm not sure if this place even has management or if they are just as bad at their job as Aptive's service is. This place is garbage, I contacted Orkin and saw better results after my initial visit then 4 visits with Aptive, for basically the same price.... If you're considering pest control for your home do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!!!! read more
