I was not going to post a review. But these people are unrelenting in chasing after people who have called them for possible service. Be warned they will quote you a price on the phone and then when the service person shows up suddenly it is a larger sum, and there is a year-long contract and it is very expensive. And when you say you are not interested, they don't stop calling. It's like a cult. Avoid these people. read more

Very disappointing company. Came first time. All was fine. Second time cancelled last minute. Ok emergencies happen. Rescheduled. Day before visit they rescheduled again for a date we couldn't do. Tried calling three different times. Twice got disconnected. Customer service is very poor. Asked to speak to a manager, was told that customer service was as high as I could go. Charged me to cancel contract with them early. They cancelled me twice. I lost an afternoon of pay. And they charged me to cancel. Doesn't seem very fair. Don't use this company!!! read more

Don't get these people. They say "we will come back any time no extra charge" when they are trying to sign you up. When you setup an extra appointment the "cancel for unforeseen circumstances text comes" and they schedule you for 7-10 days later. Which is great when you have BUGS everywhere (which is why you wanted an extra visit). Then guess what cancelled AGAIN. LOOK AT THE STARS AND LISTEN TO PEOPLE. APTIVE SUCKS read more

The technicians that treat are extremely genuine and knowledgeable. They make the service easy to understand and are very thorough.

The most premium pest service you can find in Massachusetts. Super happy with the service and the results. Great value!

Great company. They were very professional and knowledgeable and finally helped me get ride of my mice abd ants. Would highly recommend using them read more

So pissed I signed this contract. I was told by Jackson who gave me a sales pitch through my nest doorbell that there would be 4 visits for a certain price. I go to cancel and I am told, like everyone else, that it actually was a contract for 9 services and there is an early termination fee of $199!! I should have read the reviews in advance, and I should have read the contract. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS THEY ARE A SCAM! read more

This is the biggest scam, salesperson will go door to door to convince people to buy their service. Then I signed for the service which included 5 visits in a year. They will charge $169 per visit and will be there at your just for 5 mins. You won't event realize when they left. They do nothing. And after 5 visit they automatically scheduled next visit and when I called them they started telling me it's 2 year contract and charged $199 to terminate it. It is the biggest scam. Somebody should file lawsuit against their malpractices. read more

No easy wat to cancel the service time after time they keep coming and keep charging with inaccurate reports. BIG SCAM.

I have had no issues with this company and I have been using them for over a year. The scheduled appointments are consistent. The people are pleasant and respectful. My main issue is ants on my deck. If I needed them to come out again to spray,my deck an appointment is scheduled and the technician arrives on time. service is great! read more

Their door to door sales people will harass you. They would not allow my wife to tell them no and made advances to enter our home while she was home alone. Their methods are predatory and they ignore your requests for them to leave. read more

Yeah don't hire this company my last service they missed a giant web on my back window and someone came back today with an attitude then after the bad review sent me threatening emails and texts STAY AWAY from this company read more

Aptive Pest Control - This is the threats I got in my email and text messages grammar is a big problem for them - Pest Control Near Me - Foxborough, Massachusetts

I had the worst experience with Aptive. The past two appointments I have had canceled last minute via text message. I also told them when I signed up I could only have appointments on Monday or Fridays. They constantly scheduled me for Wednesday, Thursday or even Tuesday. I don't have the energy to keep repeating myself and rebook every time. I will never use Aptive again! read more

Insanely pushy sales dude. Lied about all my neighbors are all using them. Explained the services my existing pest control company provided, and was wrong about them. When asked where his license for door-to-door selling was, he said it was "in the truck" down on another street... a street that doesn't exist. read more

super pushy sales. told him multiple times i was in a meeting and i couldnt talk. Couldnt take a hint to leave. Would never consider them if i had rats the size of horses in my house. read more

Terrible service and high pressure sale personnel who come by late on Saturdays and Sundays evenings and don't take N0 for an answer. Paying more than $500/year for them to come and spray a little liquid and leave in less then five mins. Keep sent me text messages to pay my invoice but never call me back to listen to my complaints. If they come to your home to solicit your business, Run the other way. read more

Salesperson came to our home on three occasions over two days. We have a "NO SOLICITING" sign clearly posted. Rang the doorbell and then immediately knocked loudly on our glass front door multiple times. We do not appreciate salespeople trespassing on our property and there is clearly posted signage explicitly prohibiting it. read more

The Aptive salesman arrived out of the blue on a segway and was unbelievably pushy. Couldn't get him to stop talking and leave, so I finally had to close the door mid sentence. He made up all this stuff about my neighbors saying yes to his service and what my current providers aren't doing. He doesn't even know who my providers are or what they do, and his assumptions were wrong. Seeing all the poor reviews here from people using his service weakens his arguments all the more. He is over 30mi from my house, and I have no idea why he is seeking customers he can't possibly service. But maybe that's the goal -- collect money and never show up. read more

Rude, pushy sales attempt. I am at home recovering from an illness. However the sales person not only rings bell but continues to bang on the door multiple times. I finally answer and he starts a sales pitch even though I told him I wasn't feeling well. I informed him we have a service we are happy with and he continues the high pressure pitch. When I again repeat I already have the services he is pushing he walks off in a huff without so much as saying another word. read more

very misleading. high pressure. no mention of contract. do not use this company. they take advantage of customer. Disgusting way to run a business. read more

Have been with this company for 2 years, and this year has been the worst. The tech shows up and does not work. He was on his phone the entire time and only treated the front door and the basement. I have been trying to get a new tech out and it has been a nightmare. They don't honor the service plan that says if you see bugs after we leave, we will come back at no cost... don't believe the hype! Get someone else to do it. read more

The most important bugs for me were mosquitoes. I specifically requested that service. It was never done. thr service itself is sporadic. Today the tech was thorough and cleaned all spider webs. Usually they don't. I requested the service contract to be cancelled once the year was up. They refused stating I had to call at the end. ( May?). They try to get you to forget so it will automatically be renewed. terrible. I will never use them again. read more

As others have said, an incredibly pushy salesman showed up at my door (riding on a hoverboard no less) saying he has serviced others in the neighborhood, naming incorrect nearby street names in the process, and has signed up "dozens" today. Wouldn't take no for an answer, and when I finally started to walk away, he followed me. Extremely uncomfortable interaction! I almost called the police and would encourage that next time. read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. Their service is a scam to get your credit card and charge it as much as possible. They scheduled visits to close together do they then scheduled extra visits to get back on schedule and charged my credit card for them, then took hours on the phone to get a refund. Still not done. Phone star are rude. Stay away! Far away! read more

The service was much better than what I originally thought. They were friendly and efficient, Jonathon serviced my house and did not miss a spot in the yard. I recommend! read more

I had a scheduled service a week ago. The work order stated that the technician was there for 20 minutes that he sprayed my backyard my front yard my foundation and my fence line. I checked my surveillance cameras. He was only there for six minutes and spray the foundation did not do everything else. He said he did. I called Adaptive and I asked to speak to a manager they said the manager would call me back. It's been a week and the manager never called me back. I checked on the Better Business Bureau website and there accreditation got revoked on 7/10/2023 for bad business. read more

Terrible service. They had a very convincing sales agent sign myself and my neighbors up for the service. I was promised to have a number of issues resolved, which they never achieved. When I addressed this to their tech, he mentioned they only could prevent inside insects, which was never a problem and not why I hired Aptive in the first place. In addition, the techs would show up and leave within 5 minutes of arriving. The cost for these visits were $169.00 each time. When I called Aptive to cancel they indicated I did not meet the minimum visits on the agreement and charged me an additional $180.00 to cancel, which they were unwilling to waive. I spoke to a supervisor and explained my experience. The supervisor responded their was nothing they could do and mentioned I could either pay the $180.00 or they would keep charging me. All I can say is buyer be very very aware of this company. Huge scam. read more

Do not use Aptive Company for pest. The company comes why to many times. Then they charge you $199.00 to cancel their services. Again do not sign a contract with Aptive. Unbelievable they charge $199 for cancelling their service. Gina G Worcester,MA read more

Extremely pushy salesman. Would not take no for answer. Lied and told me that he sold his service to my neighbor. Had he done this he would've been able to pronounce his name. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Their sales tactics are extremely unprofessional read more

High pressure sales person came to my door AND WOULD NOT LEAVE despite me telling the gentleman clearly that "I AM NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR SERVICES, PLEASE LEAVE". Geeze, the guy just wouldn't leave and kept on talking to me through the door AFTER I closed it. If he continued much longer I was going to call the cops. read more

The sales rep came to the door and I was wary but he explained well and was not pushy when I told him my holdup. The technician even showed up within 30 minutes of me signing the form. read more

I can not say enough about Aptive; they were so quick to get rid of a hornet's nest over the door and even spray for mosquitos on the same visit. Since then, we have not had any pest problems. They take the time to educate us about the process and answer any questions. I highly recommend their service. read more

Did not trust this company to begin with but they pressured my fiancé into accepting their services. They showed up on our door and did not even knock, the only reason we realized someone was there was through our camera. The tech sprayed for ants which has not made zero difference. The tech also assured my fiancé everything was pet friendly, then proceeded to put rat bait out. The tech told my fiancé that rat bait cannot harm pets and wildlife, which is a flat out lie. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I received my first service and was told that service would kill initial pests but that my property had to have a second service to take care of eggs that have yet to hatch. During my second service the tech was on my property for 7 minutes (compared to 40 for my first service which should have been identical) and my property cameras never viewed the technician in my front, side, or back yard (90% of the areas to be treated). I contacted customer service and they were supposedly setting up a reservice but a month later-no reservice. So at this point I paid for two services $500 in value and only received one full service which is essentially ineffective since the unhatched eggs were not treated. I contacted two "managers" and have contacted customer service over 10 times to have my membership cancelled and to have a full refund issued. I cannot get anyone to help me with that but get hounded by survey requests and offers to come treat my yard daily. read more
