We hired Catseye to treat my yard for moles. The moles were very active in my yard and doing…read moredamage. The treatment is very expensive, but I viewed it as worth it because to fix my yard would also be expensive. The first treatment did nothing, the moles were active again the next day. So in a couple days Catseye sent the technician back and he applied the carbon monoxide treatment a second time. Still no impact to the moles. It seemed like they were still active while the technician was treating. After leaving a bad review Catseye reached out to my wife to see if they could fix it. They had 4 or 5 people come to check out my yard. They said they had some new treatment they would recommend and it should be available in a couple days. That was almost two weeks ago. Plus our contract included 3 treatments. So my wife called the company and the manager seemed annoyed to get the phone call and said "we will get some there as quickly as humanly possible and he knows how bad it is because he was out here" this was a week ago. And we have heard nothing from anyone at Catseye except when we called them, this whole time. The moles are still active in my yard, so money wasted, and I still need to fix my yard. Eventually if the weather gets cold enough and stays cold moles will dig deeper into the ground and hibernate for the winter, so I have this to look forward to in the Spring too. The District Manager is the one who spoke to my wife and asked if we would leave a follow up review after giving them a chance to fix it, so we did and they didn't so this is the follow up review. I will leave this on other places too so people don't waste their money with this company and find a pest control service company who actually cares. The only thing Catseye did well was take my money.

He arrived on time to the non-emergency appointment scheduled a couple of days after my initial request. Sean was very knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and took the time to answer all of my questions and to inspect bugs that I had never seen before. To my absolute horror, he confirmed that my house indeed had termites and that my c.1890 fieldstone foundation was allowing mouse entry. For a small business, the prices are actually a little more cost effective than larger extermination services. The termite treatment lasts 10 years and is transferable. Pets and my disability were taken into consideration during the initial, specialized treatments for termites, spiders, and mice. Because the house could not be "bug bombed" and certain areas couldn't be treated, he returns every 3 months for monitoring. He notifies me a few days beforehand to let me know when he'll arrive and always takes the time to answer any questions. And this is where the story takes a positive turn. Signed up online and received a text with a link of who was coming and what day. Included information of what was going to be performed and how much. On the day of the appointment, my daughter let the technician in and I immediately found him to be polite, professional, and naturally friendly to my dog. I was instantly put at ease. Having never had to use a pest service, I was concerned about who would be going through my house and this poor soul had to crawl and climb all over a completely turned upside-down house, on a hot July day. Every step of the way he was a bevy of information and empathy. I was quite comfortable having him move about my house without me, he earned my complete trust. He set some bait and traps and had immediate results the evening after the first visit. He returned 2 weeks later to clear the traps (3 kills!) and seal up the outside. He correctly identified all the problem areas and alleviated a lot of my stress by giving me the clear no pressure options for treatment. We decided to go with his company for this treatment, not just because his pricing was very competitive with others, but because when I call the number, I speak directly to him ... not some call center. I wish the previous owners of this house had treated for termites years ago. We have to replace the main beam in the basement ($6,000) and who knows what other damage they've done to the sills around the perimeter. I definitely recommend you call Kevin and get a termite inspection done. The only reason I found them was from doing some serious demolition of the basement ceilings and walls. He'll be able to identify termites and possibly save you thousands in repairs if you treat it early. I also like that he doesn't work with the termite baits. I don't want to pay someone to come pound sticks into the ground and hope the termites find the bait. He feels the same way, and assured me that Termidor is the most effective method to eliminate the colonie(s). We had the inspection done Monday 07/22/2012, and we scheduled the treatment (pending weather) for 07/31/2012.
