Pretty empty for a Saturday night and the DJ only played Latin music, which would've been fine, but the evening wasn't advertised as a Latin night. One of the bathrooms was either locked or out of order, so there was only a single stall for the entire establishment.

Came here to end the evening for my brother's bachelor party and had a blast. It was pretty packed and people were down for a good time. Overall good vibes from everyone there. If you're single, I would definitely check this place out. Also super unique decor / atmosphere. Security guard in front who checked me prior to entering (some Hawaiian looking dude) was super chill when I told him I had a little fireball shot in my pocket from our festivities earlier - he appreciated the honesty and said I could pick it up after the event if I wanted to. Thought that was a pretty good start because usually security guards act like they hate their lives, jobs and especially you if you're male. The security guard monitoring inside/ clearing paths for the bottle service girls was power tripping a little, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he has to deal with drunk idiots all night. My one issue was that, while the music was decent, they definitely could have played more EDM. As a person who used to be a huge festival guy, I was sad that I didn't hear any at all (it's all hip hop). But it wasn't terrible, just my only complaint. Overall, will come back to this place when we're looking for a fun night out.

The corner table at the end of the bar is the best spot!

Last week I celebrated my 30th birthday at this venue, I reached out to their Instagram page and got a hold of Sam, which helped me through out the booking process. I was able to get a good deal on the table. I have around 30 guests. We got there around 10:45 PM, there was no line and even tho they were short on staff they were still able to take care of us. My group got in pretty fast and the club was popping already. Saturday night they played hip-hop songs like hypy type of vibe, bangers after bangers my friends and I can't stop dancing. It was not crowded but just enough for it to be lit and comfy at the same time. We ended up getting 4 bottles! My friends told me that the drinks at the bar is reasonably priced-$15 drinks which is a steal! It's like having a house party with strangers! The crowd is classy and more matured but still knows how to throwdown without being annoying! If you're looking for a venue where you want to celebrate this is the place! You can dance and have fun but if you wanna take a break have conversations you can go to the outdoor area. Btw there's also food! After 12 my friends started to have the drunchies so we got some fries and pizza!!! Thank you so much Apt 503!

This place is a great place to lounge and hang out with friends while having some drinks. There's such a positive vibes and a really cool atmosphere. We celebrated a friend's birthday with about 30 people and this place was more than accommodating. They have really cool artistic paintings and scenery on the walls throughout the place. Great for selfies. The bartender was super cool and at the end of the night, she was making her own concoctions . I will have to come back here with more friends.

Ask the Community - Apt 503

How do u get inside the venue?

There is an elevator that takes you up to the venue. There is typically security downstairs to take you or help guide you as well.

Is this 21 and over only?

I think it is. They check ID before you are allowed inside.

Where do I sign up for guestlist? The number posted on the website was just ringing the whole time and no one was answering?

You have to send an email with the names of everyone in ur group to info@apt503.com

I've emailed and msg'd them on yelp regarding a larger party and no one has answered. Anyone know if they would be accommodating if 15 people showed up at 730 on a Friday night?

Well, that depends if you're looking to get a table or if it's just a large party that you can all get yourselves on a Guest list? If you're not looking to get bottle service, I'd suggest just emailing to get on a guest list... this Friday and… Read more

How much is it to reserve a table with/without bottle service? And how many people per table?

What is the dress code here?

Hi! I'm interested in spending my birthday here, I was wondering how far in advance it's recommended to RSVP? Thank you!

RSVP as soon as you can! But you need to make sure that your party is even ratio and have everyone's name or else they won't let you in. If you end up with an uneven ratio number of guys, I would suggest purchasing a table for your party.

What is the dress code like?

I would say a nice top and jeans and dressy flats/ heels for the ladies, and a buttonup and closed toed shoes for the men. It's dressy casual for a bar!

    Is this only 21+?

    Yes.

What type of music is played on Friday nights?

Honestly depends on the DJ but APT 503 does play predominately hip hop/rap music.

How much is a table/bottle service?

    Cheapest starts around $300-360

What is dress code for men n women? what if my friend decide just to go that day do they need to pay?

Dress semi formal. Bottle service is recommended

    Is there an entrance fee?

No they don't charge for an entrance fee. You need to rsvp by email (including you with your guest too) email: info@apt503.com & they would recommend yourself & guest to be there by 10:30p

Which night is better? Friday or Saturday?

    Saturday

All dishes are carefully crafted with its colorful details, and its simple but bold flavors prepared for you through an open kitchen. This place gets busy the minute they open their doors so make reservations prior. 1. Korean Aguachile: fresh tilefish sashimi with finely sliced cucumber and white floral decor simmered in ice cold kimchee broth they pour at the table. Soooo good. Must order. 2. Soy Marinade Blue Prawn: My favorite dish of the night. Huge raw blue prawns (head attached) marinaded with soy sauce. Served with barley rice topped with Ssam jang (type of bean paste sauce), and seaweed paper. You wrap all ingredients in the seaweed paper to make a hand roll. Soooooo delicious. Can't walk out without trying this. 3. Beef short ribs: good but nothing unique in its flavoring . Beef steak(medium rare and super tender) that's lightly marinaded/glazed (so not overly sweet) with kbbq/short rib sauce. This is one of their fan favorites so I suggest you try it.. 4. Chilled Acorn Noodles: chewy cOLD noodles made with acorn (just like the acorn jelly side dish we eat). The noodles are seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu-jang (Gochujang paste), crispy cucumber slices, loads of dried seaweed flakes, and perilla oil. And you just mix them all together. Sooo good and paired well with the short ribs. Incredible. 5. Bluefin tuna and trout Bibimbop: like a poke bowl but so much better. Rice at the bottom with loads of lettuce strips, bluefin tuna sashimi, radish slices, and cavier. Seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu jang (Gochujang paste with a twist of vinegar). Very good as well. For drinks we tried the shikhye slush (shikhye is a Korean sweet rice drink dessert). They used a slushy shikhye base with warm cinnamon and ginger spices and pisco for a kick. Also tried the Sujinggwa manhattan which is sujunggwa (traditional Korean cinnamon ginger dessert tea served cold) and a single malt. This was fabulous. Overall fantastic experience. Fantastic food, cool ambiance's. And great service. Highly highly recommend this place!

Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

First off, I have to praise 1933 group because I have loved every single bar they have revitalized and this one is no different. In keeping with their MO, The Lucky Tiki is a speakeasy with a vintage vibe. I won't give away how to get in but let's just say, it's near the front of Highland Park Bowl. My husband and I didn't have a reservation, but we were able to put our name in and got seated about an hour or so later. I was amazed as soon as I walked in the door! It's just floor to ceiling decorated with everything tiki. So many fun details and even interactive elements that turn on when a particular drink was ordered. That was probably my favorite part honestly. We ordered the Tiki Diablo, which is a large tiki drink with a flaming volcano. And yes it does have an interactive element. It was really good. Very fruity and strong, but not overly so. Service was excellent. Our waitress was on it and even waited to make sure my husband was back from the bathroom before lighting our drink on fire. We didn't try any food this time, but a lot of people were ordering the Hawaiian pizza. Do with that what you may. Will definitely be back ti try more drinks and food. I had placed a phone order, for pick up; upon arrival, I found the service was prompt. I saw my food ready to go, just past the main walk-in area. Almost immediately after that, I was taken care of by the host and on my way. I've been waiting to try this place for ages so on the drive back to work I was excited to steal a piece of meat from the bag. Initial bite flavor was good, meat was tender just a bit on the chewy side.. I wasn't bothered by it too much as I'd have to leave it in an oven warmer at work. Trying to keep food warm, in doing so, I knew there'd be only two possible outcomes, melting tender or either tough & dry. So, the dish of meat and rice sat in the warmer for almost an hour hour and a half. The downhill slope.... Set the "meat " on the veggies and began to eat. Meat after meat, I kept experiencing the same exact texture. It was the same exact rubbery chew, I initially tasted. Each and every piece was the same exact flavor. There was no peak, there was no pitfall. If you cook or grill, you know this is a red flag. Normally, consistency would be a good thing, a Master craftsman type experience, but this was NOT it. As go on, I get the sinking feeling, this can't be real meat. I lock in, the deeper I dig, each piece looks the same, broken apart the same, tastes the same, just various shapes. They can call me crazy for this one - I'll stand by it. Something is not right here. I'm not even going to throw it away. I'm going to study it for the next few days and post an updated review. I hope I'm wrong but as of right now, I'll never revisit this place. Too freaky of an experience. We
