Came here to end the evening for my brother's bachelor party and had a blast. It was pretty packed and people were down for a good time. Overall good vibes from everyone there. If you're single, I would definitely check this place out. Also super unique decor / atmosphere. Security guard in front who checked me prior to entering (some Hawaiian looking dude) was super chill when I told him I had a little fireball shot in my pocket from our festivities earlier - he appreciated the honesty and said I could pick it up after the event if I wanted to. Thought that was a pretty good start because usually security guards act like they hate their lives, jobs and especially you if you're male. The security guard monitoring inside/ clearing paths for the bottle service girls was power tripping a little, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he has to deal with drunk idiots all night. My one issue was that, while the music was decent, they definitely could have played more EDM. As a person who used to be a huge festival guy, I was sad that I didn't hear any at all (it's all hip hop). But it wasn't terrible, just my only complaint. Last week I celebrated my 30th birthday at this venue, I reached out to their Instagram page and got a hold of Sam, which helped me through out the booking process. I was able to get a good deal on the table. I have around 30 guests. We got there around 10:45 PM, there was no line and even tho they were short on staff they were still able to take care of us. My group got in pretty fast and the club was popping already. Saturday night they played hip-hop songs like hypy type of vibe, bangers after bangers my friends and I can't stop dancing. It was not crowded but just enough for it to be lit and comfy at the same time. We ended up getting 4 bottles! My friends told me that the drinks at the bar is reasonably priced-$15 drinks which is a steal! It's like having a house party with strangers! The crowd is classy and more matured but still knows how to throwdown without being annoying! If you're looking for a venue where you want to celebrate this is the place! You`ll regret it! I`ve been quite a while and have explored various venues. I used to frequent this place a lot befor it changed. The door staff and bouncers have an extremely questionable reputation. They attempt to impose a $40 cover charge, which is absurd. The lounge is subpar, and drinks are excessively expensive with only one bar available. The crowd is unimpressive, and the bouncers and door staff seem low-budget, apiring to work at a more upscale establishment. Save yourself the trouble and explore the numerous free alternatives in Ktown. Steer clear of this place, take my word for it! read more

We celebrated a friend's birthday with about 30 people and this place was more than accommodating. They have really cool artistic paintings and scenery on the walls throughout the place. They don't answer questions directly and won't let anyone in the line use the bathroom even though the bathroom is right next door. We bought a table and they still weren't welcoming to us. All the service members were super friendly and wished me a happy birthday and constantly checked up on us. No cover was required, and we were given a bottle of champagne ontop of the ciroc! We were given 3 choices of chasers and received tickets for their delicious tacos. We were given the best table right by the DJ! Lovely view of the city from the window as well. Cute backdrops everywhere to take pix! The music was awesome-my kind of jams. Hip hop but some goodies from earlier 2005-2012 that bring up reminiscent times from the jr high and high school days. If you're looking for a fun night in KTown this is NOT the place. For starters, they charge a pretty expensive cover ($20 as of writing). The dance floor is pretty big but is completely outside and takes up most of the bar's space. Music selection can be summarized as a rip off Spotify's "Classic Party Hits". If you're hoping alcohol can get you into the mood don't get too excited. The drinks are ridiculously expensive ($17.50 w/out tip for ~5oz) and small. The bar itself is small and alcohol selection is very limited. I didn't see a drink menu with specialties despite the rails being charged as if they were craft cocktails. This bar doesn't seem like a favorite among locals either as it was pretty empty on a Saturday night. Probably won't go back again and would not recommend going. read more

I booked bottle service here for May 25th to celebrate my 22nd birthday! My friends and I were a group of 22 people and I loved that the service was so accommodating! I really liked that there was no cap on the number of guests that I could bring and the price for bottle service was extremely reasonable. It was really easy to check in and the restrooms weren't difficult to locate. The aesthetics of the place were very cute and also interactive. Although most of my group and I ubered here, some of us parked in a lot for $2 all night. I would say that's pretty unbeatable for LA. We all had an amazing time and would love to come back! My only issue would be service of unlimited tacos. In my email with Apt 503, we were told that the table would come with unlimited tacos, but my friends and I had some issues getting the tacos. We were told by the vendor that tacos would cost us. I then spoke with one of the workers who then got us someone else who was in charge of distributing us tickets for the tacos, but there wasn't enough tickets given to us to consider it as "unlimited." It would have been difficult to find the same person who distributed the taco tickets again so we just didn't bother. HOWEVER, I also don't fault the Apt 503 staff for this minor mixup because the tacos vendor is something new that they just added. I am only suggesting that there can be an easier system set up for this in the future. Besides that, Apt 503 is a great place to party at and I would recommend getting bottle service here! read more

Came back to celebrate a friend's birthday after a not-so-great first experience about a year ago. Needless to say, I attended with much hesitation and more speculation. Surprisingly enough, the management and staff improved exponentially, so I deleted my old review and upgraded it. Please note you need to call in and put your name down on a guest list in order to enter their establishment. The lounge is inside a nondescript, multipurpose building with no signs leading you to the main elevator except for an office directory sign next to the security guard in the lobby. My first time was a bit confusing and I wish they had some better signage. After your first visit, it's not that hard. When you get up to the floor, the hallway is a shared space with an indoor golf course and the entryway is very plain. Feels like you're in a banquet hall space and not the entry to a hip lounge. Once you get your ID checked and name struck off the list, you can go inside. They even let me keep my skittles bag in my pocket. There are two spaces - the indoor and the outdoor. The indoor space is "[ | ] " shaped with the "|" being a wall in the middle. The left "[" has a very long bar area, a few tables and the DJ booth. The décor is very unique and feels like you're in a modern art gallery. The right "]" has a few more tables and is open to the outdoor area. There is one additional bar area on this side. The outdoor space is an outdoor patio surrounded by walls. The space could definitely be renovated to match the indoor space as it currently has a wedding gazebo and some peculiar décor, which I'm assuming is from the previous establishment. Plenty of space heaters and areas to hang out including more tables for bottle service. The DJ is great. He played 90s music all night and it was perfect for the people who come here, 20-30 year old affluent Asians for the most part. The bartenders were as efficient as they could be but the shape of the bars allowed for line cutters to sneak their way to the front. This is a common aspect of various establishments but it was something I noticed here. All cocktails are $13, from a simple vodka soda to their signature cocktails, which to me is a little bit odd. Time and ingredients vary greatly, but the cost is the same? There are two restrooms (one for men and women) inside the establishment. For men, specifically, it's one room with no separation between the toilet and the urinal. Before closing, I attempted to use the restroom and it was an utter mess. It did not look like anyone was maintaining it throughout out the night. I was told that there are restrooms outside in the common area, but that's a bit of a tedious attempt as you would have to go back through the security line and enter again. Considering the elevated atmosphere and crowd, I would expect their restroom facilities to be just as elevated. I usually encounter sharing the bathroom with another gentleman at the urinal while I'm at the toilet in dive bars. Ultimately, I had a great time with my friends. Only critiques and why I took 2 stars off was the pricing on the drinks and the state of the bathrooms inside. Definitely come check it out sometime! read more

BEWARE OF THIEVES!!! I had been here a few times pre-pandemic because I had friends who used to DJ here. It used to be fun. I came here recently and it was the first time in a really long time. It was the weekend before Halloween weekend '22 and I came to celebrate a birthday. We had a group of at least 10 people. We bought drinks (which were small and not that great, a rip off for $16). I lost my purse which was found later at the end of the night (someone who worked there returned it to me) but my wallet was missing and all my cash was gone. I had two fraudulent charges from my stolen credit card one charge for $150 (gas station) and another charge for $300 (Nordstrom gift card). This goes to show that the people who stole from me probably do this often. My friends cell phone was also stolen out of her purse while she was dancing here. And my other friends purse went missing at this place. So I feel that some of the people who come to party here or (maybe some of the people who work here) know how to steal and who to target. read more

I love this place! You have to email them ahead of time with a list of names, basically like a reservation. I actually appreciate that they do this so it doesn't get overly crowded. There's a parking lot at the building if you drive, but you should also probably take an Uber if you're planning to drink! It's very central to Ktown and there's always taco trucks outside for some late night snacks :) What I love most about this place is that they have good music!! I've been to different bars and clubs in koreatown and I think this place has the best music. Their drinks are tasty and the decoration is super cute! It kind of feels like you jumped into a cartoon...but classy and hip. I had a great time with my friends here multiple times. If it's your birthday, I've seen them bring out sparklers!! Overall had a really great time. The only downside I think is that they only have one bathroom...so it can get crowded waiting for the bathroom (especially for girls) haha. Looking for a place to impress the ladies? Apt 503 will not disappoint! I've heard about Apt 503 for weeks now since they opened, and it seems to be one of the most happening and talked about places in LA. I'm glad I was finally able to check it out and see what all the hype is all about. I felt like I was transformed into a cartoon world as I entered. There's photo ops everywhere in this venue. They have the cutest wallpaper, frames, props, and backdrops for the most instagram-worthy photos! I really liked how the venue is spaced out nicely so the crowd is pretty dispersed. There's a spacious outdoor patio area with a gazebo, two bars that serve really delicious drinks, and couches and seating everywhere. The parking structure is also adjacent to the venue and there's also plenty of metered parking in the surrounding streets.The only complaint I have about this place is the lack of restrooms. There's only two restrooms and there's always a line forming outside. I would suggest them to make the restroom with several stalls to fix this problem. My gfs and I came here for a girls night out. Parking is in the parking lot and only $2 with validation. Make sure you email Apt 501 to be added on the guestlist before you come. It does get crowded but as long as you get in before 10 am, the wait isn't too bad. The lounge is located on the 5th level. Dress code isn't strict compared to vegas clubs. But be prepared for an asian crowd full of young kids. I think the average age was in the 20s to early 30s. The was a live dj who played only 90s hip hop music while you get down the dance floor. I felt like i was in my 20s reliving 90s music while hanging out with 20 year olds. Drinks all had cute presentation and were very yummy. They don't serve more than 5 cocktails on the menu all for $13 each. They also served finger foods likes tacos, sliders, and mixed friends for $6. Good portions and pretty good to share with friends. Dress cute because you will take a lot of pictures. All the girls had so much fun taking pictures with the unique decor. Every wall was nicely decorated with different backdrop as if you're hanging out at house. There was a living room, dining room, bathroom, kitchen theme, etc themes.
