5 stars is an understatement! This is place is like a million stars. Veronica was a gift from the…read moreuniverse, she was able to do more for me in one hour than I've gotten from years of personal efforts. Veronica ended up being one of the best pole instructors I've ever experienced. She was so fast to connect to me and my goals and understood instantly my ability and previous experience on the pole and in dance. She then was able to teach the techniques she laid out for me in a way she knew I needed to learn them, and installed the exact concepts and methods she knew I needed for were I wanted to go. Unlike many other experiences with classes and studios, this experience left me feeling like I just walked out with a super charged download of pole skills versus the usual feeling of wasted time and little progress I've felt with other trainings. The studio itself is set up so perfectly too. The whole design and layout of the dance room is really interesting bc it's so warm inviting and elegant yet intimate and professional at the same time. Every little detail of the whole studio is done to perfection. It's hard to say something new about a studio that literally has so many five star reviews to its name, but honestly I would just say that for anyone who wants the hands down best pole dance training of their life needs to set this studio and the incredible Veronica as a priority number one to come and experience for yourself.

For most of the class she was just showing us different moves to do on the pole and then telling us to just put it all together into our own routine. Which when you're starting from ground zero, with no prior pole knowledge, can be difficult. Something i would have appreciated is learning some kind of routine that's more structured since it was a beginner workshop. It would have given the people in the class something to work toward while in the class, then we could have preformed it at the end and taken a video to show off what we learned. Over all the class was fun and the studio was beautiful i just felt like more structure would have been nice for a beginner level class package.

Best studio to learn how to dance salsa and bachata in Austin!!…read more I really like how they have a belt system for their class progression, it motivates you to keep learning! Each class has a curriculum of skills to master. Their most popular day is Tuesday, when they offer both salsa and bachata classes for all levels. They also their dance social at 10pm that day. Shoutout to the instructors, especially Hannah, Michael, Morgan, Joseph, Kaitlyn, Marcus, and Favian - they are all fabulous! I would also highly recommend taking private lessons with them to accelerate your learning and get personalized feedback.

I really wanted to have a good experience here, but unfortunately my first visit left me feeling…read moreincredibly unwelcome. When I arrived, I went to the front desk, made a purchase, and signed up for the next two classes. I specifically explained that I was brand new. At no point was I told that one of the classes I had just signed up for was an advanced class that a beginner would clearly not be prepared for. That alone would have been frustrating, but mistakes happen. What bothered me much more was the complete lack of effort from the coach. As a brand-new face walking into an advanced class, I would have expected the coach to at least introduce himself, ask about my experience level, or give me some idea of what was going on. None of that happened. Not before class, not during class, and not afterward. Instead, I spent the better part of an hour stumbling around trying to figure things out on my own before eventually sitting down. And I didn't sit down because I simply gave up. There was a woman trying to record what I assume was content for social media, and I didn't want my confusion in the background ruining her video. The whole experience left me feeling like I simply wasn't supposed to be there. Ironically, the one person who actually made me feel welcome was Sarah, who I'm not even sure works there. She approached me on her own, introduced herself, told me about the place, and helped me figure out where I needed to be. If it hadn't been for her kindness, I probably would have left without staying for the second class. Unfortunately, the same coach taught that class as well. Once again, there was no introduction or attempt to speak to me before, during, or after class. I don't expect special treatment because I'm new. I do expect basic customer service, especially after I've explicitly told the staff that it's my first time. A simple "Hey, I'm ___, have you done this before?" would have changed the entire experience. I came in interested enough to make a purchase with the intention of becoming a regular and signed up for two classes. I left feeling invisible. Based on that first experience, I don't expect I'll be returning.

However, I never actually thought about taking dance lessons there. For reference, I been trained in Latin dances, hip hop and two-step. Well, I have not done partner dances in over a decade, I currently take masterclasses, when my schedule allows. Go Dance is right next door to Chaparral Ice on Anderson Lane. It is quite a large facility with two main dance floors along with studio and private dance rooms. Go dance also sell dancewear and dance shoes. Their current dance special is one student for 4 weeks of unlimited Level 2 or Level 3 classes and three private lessons with an instructor for $220 or for two people at $295.

Going to three classes a week is a lot, but I've enjoyed them immensely. This is getting me back out on the Dance Floor without having to go to a nightclub, and I'm learning so much! The instructors I've had are excellent, and the facility is nice and clean with beautiful hardwood floors. Other students have been very welcoming and friendly as well. If you like dancing but want to learn more and dance more, check out Go Dance!

I was really impressed by the facilities and layout of the place-- much larger on the inside than it looked on the outside. There was the large dance area with mirrored wall, plenty of folding chairs we could use, a large lobby with places to sit and wait for the previous class to finish up, even a quiet booth on the far side, and a little nook with a fridge and microwave. The fun-colored neon lighting was a nice visual touch, coupled with the ability to play music on the sound system really set the mood! The owner was very helpful about making us feel welcome, getting us set up, and letting us know where everything was and how to use the facilities. The only two things that could have been better were the cramped parking lot with limited spaces, and the single occupant bathroom. It was a really nice bathroom, but there was only the one so it caused a wait to use it. Would definitely rent this space again!!

I'm not offered to take the class. The girl at the desk says check your email. I check my email, and it says you have to link your account. So why does the website have you select a class, lead you to believe you're paying for it, and show you enrolled? Maddening. I was always so interested in taking a class but always thought the website was absurd. I now have to make sure money isn't taken out of my account, and I don't show as a no- show for a class I wasn't welcomed to join. I was so looking forward to a great dance experience. What a disappointment.
