I always walk out feeling empowered, and ready to take on my day. What really sets this studio apart from others downtown is that they have new routines every class. It's impossible to get bored here. In Austin we have so many choices for where to exercise, and it can be hard to find your perfect fit. I'm so happy to have found mine in Barre Code!

I always feel welcomed by the entire staff when I walk in. It never felt like there was a hierarchy of regulars, even as a first timer I got the same embrace which made it so much less intimidating. She was very interactive in the class and was constantly talking. Studio is clean and well maintained. The studios late policy is quite strict. If you are later than 3 minutes (on the dot) your class will be forfeited. If you cancel late, your class will be forfeited. They are quite open about this, so I recommend reading the rules/conditions so that there are no surprises.

I surprised myself at how natural I felt on the machine and my practice only continues to become more intense. I asked the lady at the desk (Yael) if there was anywhere else I could park (this was at 10:30 the start time because I had never run into this parking issue before I am usually very punctual). She was very nice and told me to do street parking or park at Whole Foods (though it's a bit of a walk). She told us it would be okay if we were a bit late to class. We park at Whole Foods and we are then locked out of the studio. Yael reluctantly let us back in telling us to "not let it happen again" and that being this late was unacceptable. We then left the class completely since we didn't want to be in a space where we were obviously unwelcome.
