Called appliance pro and they came out the same day. They were able to diagnose the unit quick. They said they had the part on the truck and were able to fix it the same day, I had a working appliance. I will definitely call appliance pro for any future appliance breakdowns. They have the worse service I had been experienced in my last 40 years, customer service is very, very bad, never response calls, voice mails, text messages. This company is assigned as service company from my insurance, technician came to diagnose the defective part, and claim is approved within 48 hours after his first visit, I noticed the technician and he said he will be ordering part and it should take about 3 days. However, since then, this technician become a ghost, he never reply text messages, answering calls and voice mails. The worse situation is, this is a one man company, he is the owner, the technician, the one whom ONLY answering phone calls. My defective appliance is still siting there without fix after one month now, and the brand of my appliance neither antique nor expensive, it is a very command brand people can buy from any appliance stores. I called them with a commercial ice maker issue for my work. They are horrible with scheduling. The lady in the office doesn't seem to know anything. She takes your number and says she will call you back, and never does. Then there is a guy named Nick that also answers the phone and never knows anything either. The son of the owner seems nice enough, but doesn't communicate very well with updates, and just leaves the job with no notice, and no follow up. Left our machine worse off than before. We used these guys for a $300 fridge fan repair in 2017 so called them for a repair on a Viking oven. Tech came out on the same day I called which I guess thinking back could have been a red flag since everyone else was backed up. Anyway, the tech came out and explained that he would try an initial attempt with a small part but was pretty sure that would not work. It did no work so they explained that two major parts would need replacement. Total parts quote was around $1200-$1300 so they asked for $800 partial payment and said they would call back to schedule the repair after parts came in. That was three weeks ago. Called, left messages and emailed to get an update - crickets ....no answer, no email. Not quite sure if I am out the $800 just yet so hoping they get back to me. Already put in a fraud report with the bank since I used a credit card. I think they may just be incompetent at running a business but maybe able to do repairs when they are up to it. As consumer we have to be careful to get more information in writing (I did not) so it works both ways. But I trusted them from a past repair. Oh well, be careful of these guys. read more

STAY AWAY!! We had to find an appliance service company on a short notice on a Saturday. We found Appliance Pro Inc on google search that was near our location that could also come the same day to fix our freezer. They came over and started working on the fridge. They were 2 people and one of them started to pull vigorously on one side of the fridge while the other stood there. Then he also pulled from the other side to slide the fridge out of its place. As soon as they pulled it out water started rushing within the wall behind the fridge. We all ran downstairs to shut off the main water valve for the whole house. When we did they came back upstairs like nothing happened and started to take apart the freezer. They looked here and there and said that the problem was the motor fan. Said we had to order parts. As they were putting the freezer door back in its place they said that there was an ice cube stuck on the freezer door and that was preventing the door to completely seal shut. Thus, causing the fridge to work more to cool. At the end they said the whole problem was just an ice cube and not the motor fan. So we were going to order parts that we didn't need to. When they put the freezer door back on i asked them what we were going to do about the water. The guy started to get all furiously with me and started to tell me that they didnt do anything and that my pipe was too old. The house was completely redone just 5 years ago. He said he was going to leave and that i needed to find a plumber so they can do something. I told him that he needed to take responsibility and call a plumber himself. He didnt even let me express myself and told me to stop talking with his hand gestures and walked out the door while i was still talking. He left me with no water in the house and i have kids. We cannot be without water on a weekend. He also broke my drywall to see where the water was rushing from. He left a mess in my kitchen. The water leaked down in my basement, stained my ceiling, and leaked down from the floor. I had to call other plumbing companies to come and cap off the pipe, cut my basement ceiling to empty excess water, and clean the mess that this company left behind. On top of everything he calls my husband and asks for $375 for service charge and then he will be willing to arrange a plumber to fix what he broke! Rude, irresponsible, unprofessional, and clueless company and workers. Do not call them for their services. They will make a bigger mess and cause other problems. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This has been the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a repair company. The most important aspect of this review, they were not able to fix my dishwasher after repeatedly promising it could be done. Owner is rude and confrontational. Repair person admitted to making several mistakes and now I'm left with a dishwasher that functions worse than it did prior to their fixing it and I'm out $275 for their "repair" they do not provide any explanation for their pricing, apparently they just grab a number out of thin air. They did not conform to COVID safety guidelines, no gloves, masks came off when they thought I wasn't watching. They do not stick to their schedule, often not showing up when they said they would, or showing up a day early because it was easier for them (didn't take into account I asked them not to come that day as it was too late and my kids were about to sit down for dinner). One week they said they would come out on a Wednesday, they did not show up and when I called to ask if they were coming they said it was my fault for not telling them when to come even though we agreed on a day and time frame. I can't stress enough, worst company I have ever worked with. The repair person (sony) was nice, but seemed lost in some aspects of being able to repair appliances. Everyone else I dealt with was rude, confrontational, arrogant, and well strait out lied to me. I should have looked here first. $295 to reinstall a dryer vent duct that fell off the wall behind the washer-dryer. They had no tools to move the washer-dryer combo. I have to let them use my stool and ladder so the Nick and his guy to get access. I had my dryer repaired a year ago for $100. The ad said free service call with repair but at the end of the job Nick said all service calls are free. That's not what dispatch said. Also $295 was the maximum if they had to install a new vent on the wall - they did not, they reinstalled the original duct. Oh boy. If I could give this place negative stars I would. My story starts back a few years ago when my less than 5 year old furnace stopped working on the coldest day of the year. I was in a bind and this was the only company able to come out that day. They replaced my ignitor, I had heat and all was well I thought. Almost exactly one year later the ignitor failed again. I called Appliance Pro again and the same tech was sent out to condo. The ignitor is replaced a second time and on this man's way out of my condo he has the gall to tell me I should get married. As if a husband was the answer to my broken furnace. Absolutely not ok. Fast forward to this frigid week. When outside temps were 0 my furnace started misbehaving. Sometimes I had heat and sometimes it wouldn't ignite. I called a reputable company this time. This new technician discovered that someone had placed an unnecessary, additional air filter inside the furnace that had likely been there since before I bought my condo. This is something that should have been caught twice by the technician from Appliance Pro. This filter was nearly disgustingly full of years of dust. No wonder my furnace was functioning so poorly. Bright, courteous and thorough he addressed the same problem as another repairman the year before but went the extra mile to ensure the entire defrost cycle System was cleaned, inspected and tested before departure. I called Appliance Pro on a Friday about a dishwasher. A technician came out on Saturday. He told me I needed a new control board but didn't have the part. He took my credit card information and said the charge would only go through when the job was completed. He said that he could get the part and install it on Monday or Tuesday. I got a text at 6:45pm on Tuesday saying he wanted to come over. I wasn't home so we set it up for Wednesday, but put he put it off until the next day Thursday after 4. He did not show on Thursday. He did not call or text. I had come home early from work to be there. After calling and texting him, he promised to come the next day Friday between 5 and 7. No one showed. I called and texted at 8:45pm and told him that he did not have authority to charge anything to my credit card. He said that a charge may have already gone through for the part. As it turns out, no part was necessary. I called another company that came out the next day. The tech found a piece of a broken rack roller jammed in the drain pump. They both assured me that the tech was fired and they are taking an active role in improving their customer relations. They are scammers and I wish I read the reviews prior to hiring them. They will be quick to take your money and run. My 2010 (new) refrigerator stopped working and I found Nicks and his company online. He sent his technician, Zain. After running tests, he assured me that the compressor was fine and he only needed to replace a board ($425). I gave him his $200 deposit. After he received his deposit, he was never on time. When he finally came to replace the board, he then told me the compressor needs to be replaced for an additional $700 (remember, prior to the deposit he said it was fine). I spoke to Nicks several times and he informed me that this is my problem and he will not refund my money. They destroyed my refrigerator. I called the bank and immediately canceled my check. I used them last month to repair my stove, and after some contusion on their part as to what was required, they competently obtained the part and made the repair. This month I called them to repair a clothers dryer. They made two separate appointments (setting up a three hour window), and did not show up either time. When I called them after they missed the second appointment, the response was "we can come tommorow, does one day really make a big difference?". I will never use them again... read more

I had called the company to help with repairing my stove. The service call was prompt with two guys showing up in a matter of hours. They spent about 10 minutes tampering with the stove and were unsuccessful to even open the stove top. In any case they told me that the ignitor needs replacement. They charged me $60 and told me they will order a replacement and come and install it. However, despite repeated reminders no one has come to fix my stove. I think this company is a big scam and just try to collect service call charges without doing anything. I would ignore the rest of the good ratings since these are misleading at best and most likely fake. These guys don't even have a physical address on their web-site.
