    These guys are very nice on install but they do NOT stand behind their work, and the "nice" part is gone after they take your money. Please see the photo of our caved in sons' ceiling that they refuse to fix citing a technicality in the install contract. We had 3 new split units installed 6 months ago and they will not stand by their work despite the 10 year warranty! Stay away everyone! They are rude after they hook you in and take your money.

    I have been wanting to update this post for quite sometime because after the quick response from Jacob all has been made whole for me! This is what you call first rate customer service! After my Yelp review Jacob (who I believe is the manager) reached out to me personally on an email and advised me of what their plan of action was for that technician that gave me subpar service. I won't go into details....but I don't believe that person will act in such an unprofessional way again to another customer! I was not only given a deal on the yearly plan, but I was sent a gift as well from the company. A real professional technician came out a few weeks later and checked over the work the other guy did. He was very detailed and even switched out my batteries on my panel (which I didn't even know how batteries...lol) and put a fresh filter in the furnace. And I can tell he enjoys his job because he was more then helpful and wanted to make sure I understood everything and answered any questions that I might of had at the time. I wish I could remember his name....but great job because that's is one of the reason I will recommend this company and keep with y'all on all HVAC issues I might have come up!! Thanks again y'all!!

Was pleased with the…read moreexperience, which simply involved taking measurements and asking what changes I might want with the setup--much better than the high-pressure sales pitch from the bigger companies in the area. We pushed off the replacement thinking our unit would survive one more winter, but of course of furnace went out unexpectedly in the middle of the night during one of the coldest stints of the season. Called Residential Express the following morning, they pulled up my quote from 4 months prior, verified the price hadn't changed and were able to schedule me for a full HVAC replacement the next day. Freddie and Flavian arrived on time and were very professional moving through our house and working in our backyard and utility closet. They explained any changes they needed to make, went over the new setup and recommended service intervals, and hauled all of the old equipment away, leaving our house looking better than when they arrived. Very happy with our experience with Residential Express and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Literally wearing a sweater and two sweater wraps. New HVAC filter, reset breaker. Thermostat batteries are fine. Still not kicking on. Sent Yelp message to RES because they have always been quick to respond. And they did this time as well and the woman who gave me a call was nice and tried to help. Pretty disappointed that they can't quickly swing by today. From what I've read, it's likely a dirty flame sensor or the ignitor switch (neither of which is a long job - I just don't have the tools). HVAC less than 5 years old, so parts are under warranty with RES; however, I had to call someone else. Bottom line: Someone else is coming today, but I could end up paying for parts. Kind of feels like my current needs weren't lucrative enough for RES to make a concerted effort to swing by.

When I pressed them on this, they said that the $185 would be deducted from the final bill *in the event that I chose them.* Of course, this would put me as a customer in an awkward position; they could give me a much higher estimate than others, and effectively strong-arm me into accepting because I've already spend $185. I've worked with many electricians and other contractors, and I have never seen this before. AirPlus may have a good reason for doing this, but it seems shady and precarious to me. For this reason alone, I decided not to work with them. If you're considering working with AirPlus, I strongly recommend getting other estimates, as well. Not only *might* you save money on the actual work, but you most assuredly *will* save money by not having to pay for an estimate upfront.

Last month after the fall furnace inspection was complete, the tech mentioned that my hot water heater was more than 20 years old and that it needed to be replaced. AirPlus sent over a plumber to work up an estimate but wasn't able to confirm the unit's age. Turns out the unit was @ 10 years old (called the manufacturer and provided the serial#) and is in good working order (I flushed it 2 years ago and no sediment). Watch out...I think there has been an attitude change over there. I am changing providers.

I was astonished that they were here first thing yesterday Monday morning. A major part had to be ordered but I still got a text yesterday after they left that they would be here today. They must've had the part in stock at their warehouse, I thought .I got my ass up at 715am to call them for an exact ETA. They said 10-11am this morning. I called them as it approached 11 AM because they usually call with an eta...they had nothing in their system. Pissed me off since i could have been doing something else....then at 230 I get another text that the PLUMBER could come if i called to confirm before such and such a time. WTF. I do not need a plumber. Sooooooo fktup.... The people they send are top notch, but everything else is a goat rope.

And at 2:30 we are called saying he's not coming at all. We asked their representative what was the benefit of being a preferred partner - no response. We're rescheduled but have little to no faith they'll show up as scheduled. If you haven't committed, find another HVAC company that hasn't gotten so big they take customers for granted.

    So, I first want to start off by saying that every single technician/expert that has provided…read moreservice to us has been FANTASTIC! Fullstop. This review is based on recent experiences with customer service representatives/admin folks. So it was during calls to the main number, and we reside in Virginia. We recently had a very expensive repair for a hot water heater that severely damaged our circuit breaker box. So the techs came out, did their thing and were phenomenal. However, in order for us to submit the repairs for reimbursement with our home warranty company, we require an itemized invoice. As per the egregiously rude phone reps we have encountered, there is a company policy against itemized invoices. Like, WHAT!?! I have never experienced anything like it in the history of working with service providers. There is always an itemized invoice. However, that in itself is not the issue. First, my spouse spoke to someone who said that it is only possible to obtain by escalating to a manager. So we waited and attempted to follow-up. Each time after we both tried to follow-up, we encountered some of the rudest, most unprofessional individuals on the line. Not to mention, AGAIN, how does it make sense that you are doing work of this magnitude and cannot produce an invoice that breaks down parts and labor!?! I am certain that this isn't the first time in history that the company encountered this kind of request when customers are dealing with insurances and warranty companies. It is wholly disappointing, when you consider that the individuals in the field doing the labor intensive work can be overshadowed by the policies of the company. I literally have no idea what to say at this point, but that we will be transitioning to Michael & Son's or another provider. Because who wants to pay this kind of money to be mistreated on the backend for something as simple as an itemized invoice. Such a shame!
