    Outstanding Service from Start to Finish!…read more I reached out to TrueClimate HVAC early yesterday morning and was honestly surprised to get a same-day appointment! By 3:30 p.m., "Q" was onsite -- professional, courteous, and every bit what you'd hope for from a true pro. After giving me a quick overview of the company and the process, Q jumped right into diagnosing the problem. Within about an hour, he pinpointed the issue, broke down all the electrical jargon so l could easily understand it, and clearly explained the repair options and pricing. He returned the next day exactly when promised, got straight to work, and within 30-40 minutes everything was repaired, cleaned up, and working perfectly. Huge kudos to Q and the entire TrueClimate HVAC team -- you've earned a lifetime customer. Highly recommend this company for anyone looking for professional, prompt, and reliable HVAC service!

    UPDATE... Today I received a threat to sue from the "owner" of this establishment. Yes you came to…read moremy home and provided INTIAL SERVICE to my HVAC System but I didn't mention in my review here on Yelp that you also left me overnight October 31, 2025, in the Freezing Cold on one of the coldest nights in South Carolina because you forgot to turn the Service back on once you cleaned my system and when I contacted you you stated you would return "first thing in the morning" for that SERVICE you were PAID $1604.58! On the day of service you proceeded to ask if I wanted to purchase a maintenance agreement which included emergency service I agreed. You FAILED to provide the service in that agreed upon agreement. After repeated attempts at "Emergency Service" per your agreement you failed to provide said service! I asked you to cancel that agreement and refund my money and you stated I had already used the bulk of the service agreement and you would only refund $375. Hummmm I contacted my credit card company and after going back and forth with you and me last week they AGREED with me and credited my account $1600 from the TOTAL I PAID IN FULL TO YOU OF $3204.58! Now this morning you send me a text threatening to take me to court! GO AHEAD I'LL SEE YOU IN COURT!! BUT IN THE MEANTIME DO NOT CONTACT ME ANYMORE!! Ohhh and feel free to take this up with CHASE Bank and it's affiliates as they are the one who heard your Side and heard mine and CREDITED MY ACCOUNT $1600! Mahalo

    I don't write bad reviews. I saved those for when I have to wait an hour to receive a menu at a…read morerestaurant, an hour after being seated, kind of thing. Waiting....waiting... My elderly mother wrote them a check for the part on July 7th. It's been a month. No call. So I called them last week. Was told the part(s) are backordered. Totally understandable. What is not understandable is scheduling an appointment to install the part and not showing up. Now, no one answers the phone either. Do they purposely prey on elderly people? Not sure. Maybe we'll get a call back. Or maybe I'll go down there in person and demand a refund. Only time will tell.

Now I am sitting here waiting for service that apparently isn't going to happen. I paid roughly $450 upfront, was told 4-5 business days and not once during that time did I ever receive any updates. Day 5 I called to be told they will call me, the next day I called and was told a day they would come out to then receive a message that it would have to be the next day. So 10 business days and me sitting at my house waiting for a service for five hours to not receive a single call AND I have called numerous numbers and cannot get a single person on the phone. This is the most unprofessional place. I pray someone reads my review before scheduling an appointment and runs. I wish I had done that, I am kicking myself. So disappointed. Update 3/24 - called to request reimbursement, they attempted to reschedule appointment but no thanks lesson learned. Was told reimbursement will take 10 days (maybe) because they have to get their reimbursement for the part (how is this my problem??? Shoddy business all around) and they would mail a check to me. Seriously, the payment should go back to the credit card I used. 10 days? Then a mailed check? Of course I'll have to keep following up with this. I made sure to verify my address, even spelled it so that can't be an excuse they use next. Will update post again. But seriously, find somewhere else to do business. Update 04/15/2025 is anyone surprised that I am still getting the run around??? 15 business days and I still have not gotten one single phone call from Ashley or Quentin. No management is in the office until 5 pm? You would think someone would go out of their way to resolve this but nope. It just keeps getting worse. Called 4/10 and was told Ashely would call me the next day, it's 4/15, totally not the next day and guess what. I called and was told the same thing! And it's ironic that they don't answer the one number I call but I found another number and they answered. The automated response they send to when leave a message is laughable. They have prioritized my case, so what priority am I when it's been days since my call last week? 6 weeks of dealing with this company. 04/16/2025 - not surprised, not one single call from Ashley or Quentin. I called again and was told once again that a message will be left. Checked into filing a small claims case (not a legal person so excuse if I don't use the right words) but basically I need to go through the New Ellenton Magistrate for assistance. Will update on proper procedure. I highly recommend anyone who has an issue to do the same.
