I don't write bad reviews. I saved those for when I have to wait an hour to receive a menu at a…read morerestaurant, an hour after being seated, kind of thing. Waiting....waiting... My elderly mother wrote them a check for the part on July 7th. It's been a month. No call. So I called them last week. Was told the part(s) are backordered. Totally understandable. What is not understandable is scheduling an appointment to install the part and not showing up. Now, no one answers the phone either. Do they purposely prey on elderly people? Not sure. Maybe we'll get a call back. Or maybe I'll go down there in person and demand a refund. Only time will tell.

RUN TO ANOTHER BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!! I am such a dumb A, why didn't I read the reviews? Even the BBB…read morereviews? Now I am sitting here waiting for service that apparently isn't going to happen. I paid roughly $450 upfront, was told 4-5 business days and not once during that time did I ever receive any updates. Day 5 I called to be told they will call me, the next day I called and was told a day they would come out to then receive a message that it would have to be the next day. So 10 business days and me sitting at my house waiting for a service for five hours to not receive a single call AND I have called numerous numbers and cannot get a single person on the phone. This is the most unprofessional place. I pray someone reads my review before scheduling an appointment and runs. I wish I had done that, I am kicking myself. So disappointed. Update 3/24 - called to request reimbursement, they attempted to reschedule appointment but no thanks lesson learned. Was told reimbursement will take 10 days (maybe) because they have to get their reimbursement for the part (how is this my problem??? Shoddy business all around) and they would mail a check to me. Seriously, the payment should go back to the credit card I used. 10 days? Then a mailed check? Of course I'll have to keep following up with this. I made sure to verify my address, even spelled it so that can't be an excuse they use next. Will update post again. But seriously, find somewhere else to do business. Update 04/15/2025 is anyone surprised that I am still getting the run around??? 15 business days and I still have not gotten one single phone call from Ashley or Quentin. No management is in the office until 5 pm? You would think someone would go out of their way to resolve this but nope. It just keeps getting worse. Called 4/10 and was told Ashely would call me the next day, it's 4/15, totally not the next day and guess what. I called and was told the same thing! And it's ironic that they don't answer the one number I call but I found another number and they answered. The automated response they send to when leave a message is laughable. They have prioritized my case, so what priority am I when it's been days since my call last week? 6 weeks of dealing with this company. 04/16/2025 - not surprised, not one single call from Ashley or Quentin. I called again and was told once again that a message will be left. Checked into filing a small claims case (not a legal person so excuse if I don't use the right words) but basically I need to go through the New Ellenton Magistrate for assistance. Will update on proper procedure. I highly recommend anyone who has an issue to do the same.

Over the years we were pleased to have used Davis several times. Recently however, we had a problem…read morewith our Samsung refrigerator leaking water into the crisper drawer and we called Davis. They told us upfront that an evaluation service call costs $108; a service man came within several hours to evaluate our problem . He spent about 1/2 hour checking (without moving refrigerator ) and gave us his estimate that repair would likely cost $700 to $800 (with no warranty) and since our unit is 12 years old, we would be better off buying a new one. And by the way, he mentioned, Davis sells "freight damaged" appliances at a discount with nothing more than a scratch or minor dent. Subsequently, we found several UTUBE videos that showed a common problem of clogged defroster drain line with Samsung refrigerators. We removed the back cover plate, pulled the flexible drain tube off (as described in videos) and presto!! Clogged tube - which we cleaned in a few minutes, reattached and problem solved!!...Cost = $0. The bottom line is that we think the repairman could and should have mentioned the possibility of a simple fix, so simple in fact, that we might look at it ourselves before getting a new refrigerator or agreeing to costly repairs.
