She was at times overly helpful, communicative, and endorsed professionalism. However, more recent interactions with her have tainted that representation and, in our view, her professionalism. She reached a point in the business relationship where she is unjustifiably offended and makes decisions for you without initially consulting you, and I believe it is because she is a one-woman show and needs help executing. There were a few instances where she wasn't going to be finished cleaning the home in time for check-in of our guests despite being scheduled and informed ahead of time and there was a time when she was still there cleaning when the guests checked in, which is a big no-no in the short-term rental space. Yet, believing in second chances, we continued to utilize her services because we believe, strongly, in supporting Black-owned and woman-owned businesses because we are the one of the same. We always paid her within a couple of hours of receiving her invoices and in full. Her responses to us started to become flippant and misplaced. She made a decision at her last clean for us to take linens from the home without our directive to do so, stating that she would clean them at her own home. We kindly stated to her that was not necessary and she proceeded to, again unjustifiably, respond to us that we thought we were "better than her" and that "her home is clean." We were remarkably taken aback because we never insinuated that her home wasn't clean and she became angry with us for a decision she made without first consulting us. After that text message intercourse, she abruptly resigned and stated that she "no longer wanted to approach the premises." We kindly accepted her decision. We therefore made plans to which she agreed to return our linens that she unilaterally removed from the home and our keys since she resigned, and then she abrupted decided after agreeing that she didn't want to do that and that we were "inconveniencing her." Mind you, she made sure to abruptly resign after she received her payment from us of $825 after delivery of services for the week, which would be her final payment. We never once tried to inconvenience her. We never once did anything to make her feel less than. We never once treated her with any ounce of disrespect or disgrace. We appreciated her and conveyed that to her often. I feel what will impact her ability to sustain a reputable and scalable business is her inability to exhibit emotional intelligence in her dealings with her customers/clients. She would also benefit from hiring additional staff to help her achieve operational excellence focused on efficiency. Finally, she credits herself with the success of our AirBNB as if she were a business partner instead of someone we hired to perform a service. That is all we did and were doing. She took it as more. She was not a business partner and if you hire her company beware of her overattachment and overinvolvement in how you run your business. At the end of the day, we wish her nothing but the best and optimal success, but we just didn't have time for the aggravation from communicating and dealing with her later in this relationship. There are too many cleaning services who would be glad to provide the services we need.

My parents have used Doc Savage since the late 70's, early 80's or so and have *always* been very pleased with their quality of service, response times and cost of equipment and services. Doc Savage has *always* been their choice when it comes to AC installation & servicing, and *I* know from my own career experience that they do an outstanding job - as said, "quality" work and on-time, every time. Doc Savage's service was so good that when my parents moved to their new home (in Grovetown) they brought Savage with them to continue their tradition of great work & great service at a great price. You can't go wrong with Doc Savage in my and my parent's experience - always dependable, always on time, always good. 30+ years of a satisfied history with them should tell you this is NOT a company which should be overlooked in favor of others which may advertise more. Give them a go. I don't think you'll regret it. When I bought my house in 1989, I had a dilapidated heating & air conditioning unit, complete with attic ductwork hung underneath my house, instead of the rigid metal ductwork. As soon as I had saved enough money, I had Doc Savage replace the entire system with the appropriate-sized heating & A/C unit and rigid metal ductwork under the house. They have been my company ever since. I currently have an annual maintenance agreement with them that saved me a lot of money when my A/C went out on a Saturday evening just as the temperatures began climbing into the 100's. Since Doc Savage is a 24/7 company, I notified the on-call technician. He arrived early the next morning and my unit was repaired within the hour. Don't trust the good reviews…read more 2 year old Carrier Heat Pump not cooling on a Townhome bought new 2 years ago. No idea who installing company was. Property manager jumped the gun and called out another company that was not Carrier authorized who diagnosed it as a freon leak from a bad factory solder joint. $770 to repair from non Carrier authorized company. Called Carrier for warranty coverage and they recommended Holley as they are an authorized Carrier dealer/repairer and could diagnose the problem, then contact their Carrier representative for a solution. Holley confirmed the diagnosis of factory defect with bad solder joint causing all freon to leak out. I was told by Holley service tech, they cannot guarantee the repair or assure me that one of the other solder joints will not leak eventually causing the same issue. I also was told by Holley several times that they would not deal with Carrier for a solution as they "did not install the unit" (when it is not an installation issue. It is a manufacturer defect). Estimate to repair from Holley $1660. Somewhere along the line, Holley did speak with their distributor Mingeldorf (sp?) who offered a $500 credit towards labor to repair the unit, but it had to be used within 15 days. I then got to tinking about the difference in repair estimates. I asked for a itemized breakdown from Holley for the repair and was given this: $470 for 5lbs of R401A $1190 for 3 hours of labor, Misc, Materials (acetylene, copper fitting, solder material) Now lets assume the Misc and materials is $100. That equals $1090 for 3 hours of labor or $363/hr. I have asked for their hourly labor rate 4 times and they will not give it to me. The owner is rude and basically said I need to go somewhere else to have it fixed. He stated that I don't want to pay for anything (which is untrue). It is clear to me that they are deceitful in their business practices as I can assure you that $363/hr is not the going rate per hour for HVAC service. I don't want the repair for free, but I also don't want to be lied to and taken advantage of which is what this company is doing.

However, we recently had an incident concerning a B&E employee who brought along an unauthorized person, which led to some of my power tools going missing. The employee brought this fellow along on a service call to my business. To be clear, this fellow was NOT an employee of B&E. I have several cameras in my business and video footage shows the individual tampering with one of my cameras and taking advantage of the time he had alone in my storage area while the employee took care of collecting payment for services. It is possible that the employee himself had no idea this was occurring, however, he brought this individual along and with that, comes a level of responsibility for this whole debacle. The problem was quickly resolved by the owner, Michael Morgensen, who took full responsibility for the actions of his employee and the fellow who was unauthorized to be there. There was no need for litigation, but as a lesson I'd like to pass on to you: please be sure to ask your service techs to show credentials or provide proof that all persons are authorized to be there and always monitor them to the best of your abilities.

I had a complete a/c system put in by B @ E heating and air augusta 2020 . I went to turn on my a/c…read moreto find out it would not work . So having a warranty I called the people I had payed close to 8500 dollars for the system just over a year ago they came out to check it out . And told me they had to order a controller panel for the camper and a cycle switch for the evaporator or inside the house . To make a sad long shity sorry shorter . Now under warranty they told me they had to order the parts and it would be 4 days . But I had to pay for the service call today . In the amount of $240 . Then told me it would be $ 2800 to 3000 to fix it under warranty. I said a few very nice words and asked why . He told me the parts were under warranty only. Now I had watch this man and test my unit an myself have been hvac certified for years . So I call Georgia Carolina and asked them to come take a look at it. From the very first moment you knew you were in good hands. He didn't hook up gauges . He started by testing the electrical voltage of the system and with in 3 mins found 2 lose wire nuts on this new unit that B@E had over chagered me to install and flooled my carports because it leaked out the freon and had frozen up. But getting Back to the true Experts Georgia Carolina they found 2 lose wire nuts and a bad Schrader valve . Now mind you the same valve Back woods B@E had just been playing with . But the Tech From Georgia Carolina heard it leaking when he was fixing the lose wire nuts . So Georgia Carolina found no parts bad except that valve leaking and he check the speed on the fan for the unit and it had never be changed from its factory prest. For a smaller unit .Now I'm no English major as you can well see. But I have been a Sr chief Marine engineer for many years where I would on everything for hvac. Computer radios diesel engine gear boxs any and everything that could or would go bad . I know good work and workmanship when I see it and also bullsh.t lies. B@E fall in the bullshit lies category. Georgia Carolina fall in the topshelf expert category with great workmenship. When a hvac man puts his gauges on your unit first thing you know your screwed. Voltage is always the first system to check . They even give you a complete read out of what your unit is doing . That in itself cuts out the bull. Thank you Georgia Carolina you will always get our business and that of anyone I know that needs your services.
