They will take all of your belongings, and throw away things without consulting you. They won't properly inventory your possessions, then they'll misplace things of all value and size -large and small, cheap and valuable. We were reassured many times that they wouldn't throw things away without our consent. They have tried to throw away some perfectly good things, and then when we requested items to be returned but they still disposed of them. Their employees will steal valuable things or at least try to! They even tried to dispose of my daughter's bible -an engraved gift from her now deceased grandmother- it is in pristine condition and is one of the items from our "unsalvageable list" that they wanted to trash but we requested it to be returned and they did, but many other irreplaceable things they did not return when they should've. They will hold your belongings hostage until your insurance company pays for the cleaning of it- our cleaning bill- just for things removed from our home was $24,000, and guess what- THEN THEY BROUGHT IT BACK FIVE WEEKS AFTER REQUESTED WITH HALF OF IT STILL COVERED IN SOOT AND DUST!!! $24,000 just for cleaning contents and they didn't even do half the work. They repeatedly delay and then charge your insurance more for storage when the delay is their doing. They will hire subpar subcontractors that damage your home- the painters applied latex paint to our oil based painted trim. No one truly takes accountability for problems they just make one excuse after another or shift the blame to another employee or department. I am not going to leave out that they have done a few things properly, but what they have done wrong far outweigh those. I would never hire this company again. Those who have failed the most are their contents team, management and the owners. Brian, Wyatt and Roy were all in our home for mitigation , they worked hard and were very polite. Brian was misleading about some of the documents he had me sign right after our fire- and now their general manager is trying to use those against us... saying we gave them permission to dispose of anything they wanted to, yet verbally and in text, they reassured us repeatedly that nothing would be thrown out without our permission. Nicole in billing wasn't good with communication in the beginning but turned it around and was very helpful. Our fire was April 5th, it's September 19th and our job still isn't quite done, we have had servpro working at our house less than 30 days total...since April. These photos are a fraction of our contents that they were paid $24,000 to clean that wasn't even touched. The last two photos are of things they brought to my home that belong to someone else. They all should be ashamed, but they are far from it, even arrogant when responding to the problems they've caused.

I've been waiting for Servpro to restore my kitchen after a stove fire. It's been 6 months…read more They have my insurance money and they won't come back and fix the botched cabinets and finish the many other things they left undone. I don't have a stove or microwave. The cabinet guy just set my old sink and old counter tops on top of the cheap cabinets they installed. I have a hole in my roof where the stove vent pipe goes. I don't have a light in the kitchen, only a hole in the ceiling with wires hanging out. The receptacles are just hanging on the wall. The floor has to be done as well as the walls have to be painted. Everything in my kitchen is packed in boxes in my garage where it's been for 6 months, along with debris from the fire. I can't hire somebody else to fix my kitchen because Servpro of Augusta has my insurance money and they won't even talk to me. The owner. Jay York won't even take my calls. Shawn Cochran just lies when I've been able to talk to him. Hal Hoehn is the one who was in charge of the construction on my kitchen. He is incompetent and thats the best thing I can say about Hal. DO NOT use Servpro. They are the absolute worse!!!!

ATI reached out to us, claiming they could restore our house. Instead, we have more problems than what we started w! Doors are off the hinges (Storm did not knock off the doors) our original microwave doesn't work (had to but another), ants now come up through the pipes, water damage to the ceiling occurred, no drain pan under AC unit, Can not open garage. On top of all this, water got turned off bc 2 accounts were linked to our home. One of the accounts was made bc of the storm but bc they Did Not notify the homeowners, we (me, husband and 4yr old son) had to go a whole wkend without water. Found out about 2nd account because they requested us to come pay in person. So unprofessional, would never recommend ATI to anyone. By the way, James and Marty Hendrix was over our account

Venturi Restoration aka VR Pooles - Their response from their General Manager is horrible, over…read moreseveral months we have left numerous messages on his direct phone number with no call back. Chris the Project Manager - has poor management and leave of true concern or ownership of his errors. We had to move out of our house two times due to them having to refinish our floor four times. This was an insurance claim with USAA and they paid more then their share. A TV was knocked off the wall and caused damage, bolt was broken on our expensive dining table, screw lost on refrigerator handle along with dents, chipped claw foot tub, scratched up walls, and got sawdust in every cabinet, and all of our hanging clothes had to be sent to the dry cleaners. Everything is finally done after months except the tub, and paying us what they owe us. The Project Manager chose not to bring a check from insurance to be signed until after it stale dated and had to request another check. They are holding funds due to us for the money they guaranteed to pay for dry cleaning until checks are signed and letter for adding the money for tub repair. We let him know I'll be happy to sign both remaining checks and the letter as long as they bring our check with them. They refuse to bring the ,$1200 check for us therefore they are holding up us signing $36000 checks. We put out almost $1000 four months ago and they have yet to reimburse us. This has been the worst experience and I would NEVER recommend them for anything.
