Worst customer service experience I've had. Called and scheduled them to come our home and troubleshoot our wall oven microwave. When their tech arrived he told us we needed a new touchpad. We paid him $80 for his diagnosis and made the mistake of assuming he would relay this to his office. After a week of waiting to hear from someone I called and spoke to the woman who answers the phone. She proceeds to tell me that the tech did notify them that we needed a new touchpad and that they were awaiting approval from US to proceed with ordering parts. "How can we approve this work if no one relays any information??" Her reply was "sorry about that. It will be $380 for parts and installation".. okay, so I give the phone approval proceed. She tells me that parts are available and will take up to 4 days to receive and that they would call and schedule a time once they receive them. I call 2 weeks later and she seemed confused and that she would talk to her tech as to where the parts are and call me back. After another WEEK I still haven't received a call back with an update. I call back again and get the SAME exact answer as before. Obviously frustrated I ask her to contact her parts supplier and give me some sort of an answer as to when we can get our oven and microwave working again (it's been a month without at this point). She tells me that maybe it would be best for me to call someone else and HANGS up in me!! I do not recommend this company for anything. Unprofessional, lack of follow up and follow through. Being a General Contractor myself I understand that COVID has made it very difficult to source materials and turn things around quickly but that doesn't give you a reason not to communicate good or bad.. read more

The WORST service EVER! From the moment Tom came into my home, he was condescending, rushed & rude. My washing machine would stop running mid cycle & my dryer was making a loud noise. Tom cleared out a drain that wasn't on my radar & said it should be fine. He took the front of the dryer off & said that something would probably need to be replaced, but that we needed to have our vents cleaned. He instructed that if the sound continues after the vents have been cleaned that he had a 60 day return window & I wouldn't be charged the service fee again. In my head, I remembered 90 days, but found out I was wrong.He then handed me a $186.78 invoice for 15 minutes of him being there & the above listed tasks. I was stunned. He charged 2 separate service fees for the washer & dryer. I wrote the check & he walked out. He came back & said he could see I was upset & took off one of the service fees, bringing my balance to $131.83. I asked if he knew something would need to be fixed, why not fix it now while he was here & we were paying for it. That still didn't happen. This was 11/9/21. Then ensued the holidays. We didn't get the vents cleaned until a few weeks ago. I called on 2/4 to say that low & behold, the sound was still happening after the vents had been cleaned. I was informed that they would not honor anything over the 60 days. So, I paid for literally NO WORK. Hey Joan, yes your technicians are outstanding. That wasn't the problem. My problem was with you and your attitude when I did get a hold of you. You displayed a negative attitude and didn't even try to help and were extremely defensive. Sounded like you just got out of a crappy Sorority. (There are good ones). Sorry just being honest. I'm extremely busy and impossible to get a hold of by phone during the day. My schedule can change by the hour. I deal with Millions of dollars of peoples life savings and volatile markets. The second time I cancelled was because I was done with you. One of the first questions I ask my clients is, "what is the best way to get a hold of you?" Best way for me is text or through my assistant or Office Manager. Otherwise, we just play perma-phone tag. May want to look at some smart technology. Will save you money and greatly increase your ROI. Looks like you could improve your CRM system. Voicemail is the worst way to get a hold of me. I called back several times and just got your voicemail. Hopefully Daddy is reading this. You didn't bother to ask or care. I guess the customer is always wrong though, right? There is a lot of trust when you invite people into your home. Being polite, courteous, and respectful may a good way to start... I'm a local business owner and would never hire you and if I did made the mistake of doing so, immediately fire you. Also, I realize that your most important customers are property managers and Landlords. Just be mindful that that we are their Associates and Partners as well. I also didn't invoice you for my time, which is well in excess of $1k per hour. (I make a fraction of that). Please don't threaten me financially again. The tech who was 5 min away was past the window that you gave me. My team managed my schedule based upon your promises. I had an appt at an important client's home that I had to be out that I communicated with you. You expect me to cancel my appt and shut down my business for a $20 part? Come on. I ended up just calling a nearby friend in North Tacoma and got it handled. Also you did bill my landlord. He texted me with the invoice. read more

I have had my fridge for about 26 years. It started leaking a few weeks ago, and I dithered about what to do. I ran a inquiry on Google and discovered the likely cause. Repairing it seemed reasonable straightforward, but I have had enough experience with getting into repairs of gear that I am not familiar with to know that what appears simple rarely is. I decided to hire a professional to do the job. I called on a Friday afternoon and got an appointment for Monday afternoon. The technician arrive within the time specified, actually a bit earlier than I anticpated. He went right to work on the problem, and watching him work, I was really glad it was him and not me. He was able to find the source of the leak which, unfortunately, wasn't a clogged drain hole, but rather a place near the drain hole that had rusted out allowing the water to bypass the normal drain and exit into the body of the fridge, running out in front of the unit, rather than the normal evaporation area below. The tech then proceeded to check on the availability of a replacement part. He checked multiple sites and found that it was no longer made and none of the parts depots had one. It was disappointing, but knowing where I would have been if I had attempted this myself following the directions on the internet, I figured the price was worth every penny. I asked the tech what he would recommend as a replacement, and he gave me some excellent information and a good place to start looking. I am not sure why there seem to be any poor ratings. WAY over priced rip-off joint. Got our dryer repaired today. They replaced the heater coil, a Samsung DC47-00019A. In addition to the $70 house call and $50 labor (which were reasonable), They charged $134 for a heater coil that sells for $40 online. Will NEVER use this place again, and will tell all of our neighbors the same. read more

Great same day service! Tom found a china chip in the pump of our dishwasher really quickly, in and out about 1 hour. Took care not to scratch new floor and fixed the noise insulation around the machine too. Will definitely use again if the need arises. Also a great sense of humor :) read more

I went without a fridge for 2 months because Mike in Buckley said part was backordered. Then he said it would take ANOTHER 2 months. So I called Appliance Master who fixed it in 5 minutes. It seems the other guy was ordering the wrong part even. No apology for the inconvenience when I told mike! Appliance Master was great!!! read more

Very nice guy named Tom showed up to fix flooding washer. He was on time-- between 1 and 3 and showed up about 130. He diagnosed the issue and explained to me what the cost would be and what the repair consisted of and why it was causing the washer to flood. I appreciate when I have someone repairing a home appliance or any other home repair that they explain things to me so I can better troubleshoot issues in the future. I would call them again for appliance repair. read more

After an initial attempt with another company with no success, we tried Appliance Master. Another loser. Tech came by to look at our 2 year old washing machine, smacked the side a few times and said it is the circuit board. Told my wife to buy it herself and install it to save $50 bucks. Charged us $76.88. We ordered the part and installed (real pain) and the problem is still not fixed. What happened to service that actually takes the time to accurately diagnose the problem and fix it. I should have just watched You Tube videos. Want your appliance fixed? Great service from Tom. Of course our dryer had to go out the day before Thanksgiving. I called this morning and set up for a 3-5pm appointment. Tom showed at 2:56. He was in, fixed the dryer, and gone in 20 minutes! $200, but my clothes are drying. Watch out, though. Tom has jokes! All in all, great service. Thanks, Tom and Appliance Master. read more
