The project was to replace a doorbell from a late 60s/early 70s intercom system with a wired Google Nest doorbell and to replace our old floodlight with a Nest floodlight. I spoke with two electricians who were either mystified by the situation or gave me bad abduct. Will came up with a plan to use the power supply from the intercom system for the transformer.
