I applied for a position on LinkedIn that I was over qualified for and received a call from Norea. Well that call changed everything. We had a great conversation and I was presented with an opportunity with the County. It all happened so fast, I went on an interview within days and started the position after three weeks. The customer service received from AO was THE BEST, from Norea to Jessica to Barbara it was like a breath of fresh air speaking with each of them individually. They were all extremely professional and kind to me that I'm forever thankful and couldn't be happier and my temp job. If all goes well, which it should I'll be a County employee in no time if they are hiring full time positions. read more

Apple One agency is wonderful. I was contacted by Keri about a temporary role and I stayed in it for several weeks but realized after a time that it wasn't a fit for me. Keri didn't blink an eye, and helped find another role that was a much better fit right away. I was in the new role for 8 weeks, and then after applying and interviewing, I was able to transition from my temp role to a permanent role within the organization. From start to finish it was such a wonderful process. I am so appreciative to Keri and everyone at Apple One for helping me find a job that fits me perfectly. The staff are all amazing, very friendly and helpful especially Keri and Barbara as well as their Coordinator Dominique. Thank you AppleOne! I appreciate all your personal attention and professionalism! read more

This is a good temp agency to go through to find work. I found them through indeed and was trying to look for work and they were fast on helping me. Dominique is the recruiter I talked to and I was nervous to work with her since my previous experience with temp agencies haven't been good at all. She made me feel welcomed and was very positive in ensuring me she would help me find a job that matched my skills. She is very good at communicating and working with her clients through the whole process. I would definitely recommend this company and her specifically to find a good job and I will also be telling people I know looking for work to go through them! I lost my job back in March and was endlessly searching for a job daily, I signed up with 3 temp agencies and constantly checked in with them, I happened to apply for a job that I didn't realize was listed with Apple One and received an email from Joshua thanking me for applying then I received a phone call. The original job I applied for was filled, I got a call from Norea and we instantly connected she was so easy to talk to and found me a position that she wanted me to interview for she sent me the details on a Monday and Thursday was the interview. I didn't get that position, but Norea didn't stop there, she found me another position that same day and set up the interview for the following week. I have to say that Noreaa nd Dominique have gone above and beyond my expectations and found me a position. If your looking for a job I would recommend Apple One! read more

So so agency - was not impressed with their business practices. I was placed in a position immediately and my appointment was extended several times (6 months). Icing on the cake - this assignment was one of my favorite work experiences, but AppleOne staff seemed to be in the midst of an internal struggle (2 of my consultants left the org in less than a two month period of time) which affected by experience with their organization. My requests for updates/ availability via email and VM were not acknowledged. I found out my contact person was no longer with the company (2 times!) by calling front desk out of frustration. (Seems like they could have put an absence message on their phones or email indicating to call the main number for assistance. Very unprofessional. One time I could overlook - the second time just plain bad practices. Maybe they worked it out and you'll have better luck. Good luck in your job search. read more

These people are completely uninterested in helping anyone find a job. Their office is really messy and run down. They make you sit and watch an ancient safety video for over 20 minutes (all of the info contained within is all something they could put on a piece of paper instead of wasting 20 minutes of the interview with it. ESPECIALLY considering the only parking around is meter parking.) So you're basically paying to watch a dumb, old safety video full of common sense. Or, better yet - put the video on YouTube and send your consultants a link prior to coming in. Don't waste unemployed people's time and money on ignorant stuff like that. With that said, the TESTING - OMG.. they use the worst software EVER! I gave the Excel test a try and none of the questions were relevant to any work I've done in Excel for a company (and I'm a certified Excel expert elsewhere - apparently they don't care, you HAVE to take THEIR test.). The test took way too long to complete and was not an accurate portrayal of my Excel abilities. AppleOne is ONLY interested in wasting your time when you could be using it actually find a job. I found one through another agency that didn't require me to take a dozen pointless tests and didn't waste my time at all during the interview process. AppleOne is straight up stuck in the 70s... someone needs to come in and give them a giant kick in the ass or they will continue to go thru recruiters left and right. BTW, in the 2 weeks I was dealing with AppleOne, the first gal quit and some other clueless guy named Shaun took over and seemed just as incompetent as the first girl. Again, a COMPLETE waste of time. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from the big temp companies - they will never find you a decent job. Look for the smaller companies or more specialized ones, but most of all, stay far, far away from AppleOne! read more

My experience with AppleOne was amazing. I originally interviewed with them in July of 2019, and decided to take a position I was offered from my own job search. However, a few months later in February of 2020, I found myself looking for work again and contacted my very friendly and helpful temp agent, Eric. He was so nice and immediately sent me a list of temporary positions near my area that worked with my schedule. AppleOne makes a convenient, fast, and personalized experience. read more

Well I had the best experience with AppleOne also. I was having a hard time finding employment, whether it was submitting my resume to jobs seen on craigslist or interviewing with other agencies who sent me out to potential positions I had NO LUCK. I started to realize that maybe I did need to take others advice and update my resume since my last permanent employer listed had been in 2011. I didn't really want to do it because lately I had been doing a lot of temporary assignments and the last being one seasonal, I thought that would look tacky on my resume but nevertheless after almost giving up again for awhile I decided to do so. I revised and updated it on every online site I was registered with including temp agencies. I start receiving calls IMMEDIATELY to the point to where I was turning some invitations down. I received a call from Ian letting me know he saw my resume and thought I might be a good fit for a position he's working on with a client. I confirmed I was still looking for employment and listened to what he had to say. As he was discussing my resume over the phone with me and my last employer, I noticed he had my old version so I couldn't wait to send him my updated resume and did so after we got off the line through my phone(I was out n about). He called me right back very excited and we continued to talk about the position, he said he would submit my resume to the company and that he would like to meet me as soon as possible which was the next day. We confirmed and that was that. 5 minutes later I received ANOTHER call from Ian saying the company really liked my resume and wanted to meet with me the day after. I was enthusiastic but still didn't want to get my hopes up so I confirmed that interview as well and decided to get a bite to eat to celebrate(garlic crab). The next day I arrived at AppleOne ready to register. The receptionist was very nice and helpful, she put me on the computer to look at the safety video and do the questionnaire. Usually when you go to temp agencies they have you do a gang of PROVEIT test which I can't stand because most of the time the test have nothing to do with the positions your applying for and they can be discouraging and sometimes stressful. So I was very happy when I didn't have to do any. I passed with flying colors ofcourse. Then it was time for the paperwork, EVERYTHING was pre filled all I had to do was sign and date which was awesome. Next up came the meet and greet/interview with Ian, we talked more about the position and what to expect and do. Questions they may ask, He was very helpful and it was very quick. After he gave me his card I was on my way, prepared for my interview the next day. So the next day arrives and I head to my interview ready to make a great impression. I arrived on time with high energy, met with the hiring staff, discussed my skills and how I might benefit the company. I enjoyed the meeting and felt comfortable about the position. When I left I contacted Ian just like he asked to let him know how it went. He told me he would contact me when he heard back from them so I pressed on with my day and went to get a bite to eat(Taco Bell following exit) all that talking had me hungry. Before I could even get to my next destination I saw I had a missed call from AppleOne's phone number followed by a voicemail so I checked it and it was Ian telling me to call him back asap. I was a little nervous but excited at the same time. When I called back Ian informed me that I GOT THE JOB! They really liked me and want me to start Monday WOW! It happened SO FAST Ian immediately got busy checking my references and emailed me a little later on that day letting me know they gave me great references. He also sent me an email link to my online time card. Just like that I am set, ready to go. All this in a matter of 3 days. I am now once again a working woman. Thanks Ian and Appleone. FYI: AppleOne is now located at 2121 N. California Blvd #220 read more

Applied at AppleOne, got an interview. Trick is, everyone gets an interview, whether they have openings for you or not! Anywho...was in their system and hit them back up when I was laid off from another position. They got me a job within a week at a company in Concord. The temporary job site, however, was very unsanitary, the managers were rude and abusive to their full-time staff and temps, and there was mold all over the work place. I called CAL-OSHA on them and they did their investigation (never found out the outcome because I had quit by then). I told the staffing managers at the Walnut Creek office, but they were indifferent to it - they did their "We sincerely apologize, but we didn't know!" run-around, but I guess coming from other top-knotch agencies where the staffing managers actually inspect the work site and visit their temporary staff, AppleOne is more willing to drop the ball on you. Had a relative who worked with AppleOne and landed a full-time job at the County, so his perspective is different. His argument is also that it isn't the temp agencies job to visit the job site or inspect it - I COMPLETELY disagree with that - when I worked for Robert Half International, they not only checked out the work site before sending in one of their temps, but also came by at least every two weeks to "check in" with the managers and temps to make sure all is well. read more

I had a great experience with AppleOne ! Although some of their tests and equipment is kinda out dated , I'm used to going to tons of temp agencies and I've seen worse. I've been to literally, every single temp agency in Solano county do AppleOne was great. They called me two weeks later and found me a job with CC County back in December and I've been there ever since ! This review is for Yvonne Renaldo, the Staffing Consultant I worked with at the Walnut Creek AppleOne location. I came to her in July looking for a temporary position where I could earn new experiences. From the very start Yvonne was very supportive, listened to my needs, and worked tirelessly to submit me for jobs that peaked my interest. I even earned a job offer. Ultimately I was able to find a full-time permanent position through my own job search efforts, but it doesn't take away the fact that Yvonne was a great help to me. We worked like a team and in the end, she was thrilled for me. If you're looking for temporary work, Yvonne is a great consultant to work with. I highly recommend her. read more

I have been to several temp agency's, and had bad experiences. I signed up on the computer for Apple one. It did take a while for them to contact me. But when I got the call from Keri she met with me. She was so sweet and very helpful. She explained everything to me and found out what my goal was and where I would love to see my self working at. She kept in contact with me asking if I would be interested in different jobs. Finally one job I was really interested in she set up the interview and I landed the job. She has stayed in contact with me asking how the assignment is going and always returns my emails right away answering any questions I have. I am so thankful I found apple one. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

Kimm Robinson of AppleOne-was an excellent representative and source to work with. Being displaced after 32 years with a major bank was a big blow. At my age I did not want to wait long to get back into the workforce. I contacted Kimm, sent her my resume. After she reviewed my resume, she met with me, made a few changes and discussed with me what I can do to get back in the work force. Within a week she contacted me with a few different offers and I was able find a job thru AppleOne right away. Kimm was able to help pull things out of my resume that employers are looking for to help me find work right away. Thanks Kimm Robinson and AppleOne. read more

THIS AGENCY IS A RUNNING A SCAM. Do not waste your time with them. After paying for parking, I spent an hour with a recruiter, who said I had great skills and that she was excited about working with me. I passed all their tests with flying colors and was hopeful that they would find me a job. Then I never heard from them again. When I found jobs on their website I called the recruiter listed and either never got a return call or, was told that "this isn't an actual job". WHAT?!! Yes, they are posting jobs that don't actually exist and getting away with it. Why? Because they are not at all interested in finding you a job. All they want is to get your name in their database. This scam needs to stop, NOW. Again, don't waste your time with Apple One, they don't care about finding you a job. read more

I have put my application in over a week ago, took the tests (over 3 hours), my references have been contacted , updated my resume 2 times and so far no interviews, nothing. I was told that there were about 3 jobs my resume was being sent to that day I signed up and so far again, nothing. The agent hasn't helped me out with one job or interview. I sent over Job Numbers and description found online that I am qualified for and so far again, nothing!! I got pretty much yelled at and said not to check in only once a week and this takes time. Sorry, not buying it! Went to another agency, I have an interview lined up in less than a day. When the agent spoke to one of my references she tried to do a sales pitch and my reference was highly disappointed and thought that the direction of me was off the table. Not good again! I had high hopes and so far I have been highly disappointed. Don't bother! They only place ads online to lure you in and make you think you are getting the help you need. I have heard nothing from my agent and last time I spoke to her she was rude to me. I'm looking for a job and I'm not on vacation (I wish). I can find a job on my own. read more

I know there are a lot of different agencies out there in the Bay Area and I have tried them all but I have to say APPLEONE is by far the most unprofessional!! I followed all the steps they required in filling out your profile. Then once I set up an appointment they reschedule over voice-mail. I called back the same day to let them know the new date and time wouldn't work but never heard from them again. I called again and email but nothing. I finally got in touch with a different recruiter which was an even worse experience. She had the audacity to tell me after looking over my resume that I wasn't qualified to apply for an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT job. Was she joking? I have over 10 years of experience in the corporate world with job titles such as, Marketing Event Manager, Office Manager, EA to CEO, Sales Manager, and even have my own business ...and I can't apply for an Administrative Assistant job??? PLEASE, these people are not qualified to be recruiters with there lack of professionalism, drive and overall people skills. They clearly don't know what they are doing nor do they care to help those looking for a job....WASTE OF TIME! read more

Worked with AppleOne from Walnut Creek CA. They did not seem interested at all in finding work. They say they will email me with interview info by Friday or Monday. Tuesday comes still nothing. Finally on Thursday I get email. So I have to contact them to remind them they didn't do what they said. I had the interview, called them just after to let Amanda know it went well, but she couldn't talk so left message so did she get message??? Been one week still no word. I called them. Then I called this morning 4 hours ago to call me to have Amanda call back still no word. The receptionist said Amanda is busy on phone interviewing will give her the message Never got call so I emailed her and got out of office message. Then hour later she sends email that she is out of office doing training won't be back until next week. So in the meantime I am sitting here not making money and she will check next week if anything comes up. Been With AppleOne since September only had one job. When we do talk Amanda tries to kiss my ass and talk her way out of it. I am going else where now why should Amanda have a job when she doesn't perform hers. read more

I had a horrible experience with Appleone Walnut Creek. I have been with them for 6 months and they have yet to find an opportunity for me. They never check in with you to keep you informed that they are still looking for opportunities for you probably because they are not. As a matter a fact I have not heard from my rep in over a month. They make all these promises and never deliver. I honestly think they have their favorite people they work with and never give new people a chance. The worst experience I have ever had with and agency. I would never apply to them again. At the rate they are going with the unprofessional actions they are taking I would not be surprised if they go out of business soon. read more

I had a very good experience with AppleOne in Walnut Creek. I received a call from Zach who had noticed my resume online and made himself available to help me in my search, which was becoming increasingly challenging due to stiff competition and a little bit of age discrimination (yes, it's illegal but the practice continues in the workplace, I can assure you). I went into their office, viewed the videos and took the tests, met with Zach (who was especially professional and sincere) and then filled out paperwork. I was anxious to get back to work and felt that this agency and Zach would come through for me. It didn't happen right away (no surprise given the market and number of applicants for every open job out there), but within 3-4 weeks, Zach had lined up a 3-month temporary assignment here in Concord to hold me over until a full time opportunity became available. I temped for 4 weeks at that company (until my permanent job came through) and enjoyed every minute of it. In the meantime, Zach would reach out to me every week to see how things were going...geniune and professional respect and concern, which I really appreciated. I found everyone at AppleOne-Walnut Creek to be extremely professional and responsive, so I don't really understand the negative feedback here. But the business climate and the number of folks looking for work are factors to keep in mind when setting expectations from employment agencies. I hope I don't become unemployed anytime soon, but if I did, I'd head right back to Zach at AppleOne-Walnut Creek. Out of the three agencies I was working with, he was the only one who did anything for me. The others just gave me lip service. Thanks, Zach and AppleOne!!!! read more

I initially went to AppleOne looking for a recruiter to help me find a high end Executive Admn job. She explained that this is a employers market and most jobs are now temp to hire. I was fine with that as long as the salary fit my requirements. As it turns out, I was given an interview for a lower paying job, however the employer was so impressed with me, he created a position that met my criteria. if it was not for my recruiter, I would have never had the interview. She knew my talents and her client and it all worked out. I recommend this office as long as you are honest with your skills and objectives AND understand the market place. read more
