I have applied to several different job postings on LinkedIn as well as their own website, and never get any kind of response, I'm wondering if they even see them! How are people supposed to know if there is no feedback or replies. read more

Honestly this agency takes forever in helping people find work. I worked with a nice lead Leanne. Honestly the 3 weeks I worked for the company she placed me in I had nothing but headaches and stress that I decided it's best to leave. Good luck to those who will be able to find a job with this company. For me it just wasn't a good fit. I wish I can go more into detail but I'd rather not read more

This company requests your resume & has you sign paperwork, as if they have to meet a company quota, because I never received any follow up by any of the employees, after sending them my resume & signatures. This company has never found me any work. I applied here in 2017 & it's now 2021 & still no follow up nor offers. read more

EMPLOYERS: STAY CLEAR OF THESE JOKERS. Their incentive is to get you an employee as fast as possible with an inflated salary. They sent me an accountant who doesn't know what a Balance Sheet is. They gave her an assessment that she scored an 86% on. After some forensic work on my end, I saw the test questions and OH MY GOD. Anyone with half a brain could've easily scored a passing grade. After bringing this to their attention, the recruiter's response was, "Robert Half is a 2.4 Billion dollar company, obviously we know what we're doing." Indeed, they sure know how to jack you out of your money! Waste of $18k. read more

I had the WORST experience with Officeteam in Walnut Creek and I want to warn people to steer clear! I originally signed up with a staffing consultant that then quickly went on a leave of absence. I was completely ignored and my calls inquiring about work went unreturned. I was so ready to go to work and my interview and tests went really well and I was told that I was a very desirable candidate. Finally someone called me from the Pleasanton office offering me work but they said my references hadn't been checked. But I knew for sure that they had! So I had them re-checked but by then the job went to someone else. Then I found out that the consultant that I had signed up with had quit so I was given to another person. But then he also quit!! So then Officeteam wanted me to come in and re-do all of my paperwork and re-check my references! Never mind that it's only been 3 months since I first signed up with them. I think that just because there are a lot more people looking for jobs right now than jobs it doesn't give mismanaged agencies like this the right to treat people like crap. read more

I had been laid off for over a year and seen a job posting with Office Team (Panicia). Within a couple of days they were able to offer me a temp to hire position with a well established company. I started early November. Needless to say - I was hired on permanently today! What a great way to start out 2019. Thanks again to Panicia and her team. read more

The staff at Robert Half was very helpful placing me in a perfect job that utilizes my experience. The staff catered to my needs and gave me advice on interviewing. They even brought me treats on secretaries day and a cake when I was permanently hired with my new employer. I highly recommend them. read more

I registered with OfficeTeam in Santa Clara in 2010 and the staff consultants there have always been professional, communicate well, returned my calls promptly, are honest and looked out for me to make sure the client was ready for me to start work. I have recommended to my friends and family that is best to register online first! So far, my friends have commented that OfficeTeam has called them to set-up a time and date to come in and complete the necessary paperwork and testing (MS, Excel, PPT, etc) can be done online or in the office. I have moved to Concord and have applied online to work with the staff consultants in Walnut Creek branch. As far as I am concerned "DITTO" like Santa Clara. Communication is Number #1 and that is exactly what get from OfficeTeam. read more

An excellent company helping get people into temporary positions either part-time or full-time. The folks at OfficeTeam, under the umbrella of Robert Half, are professional and courteous. Each person I've had contact with all have one common goal--To make sure you're assigned to a company according to your skills and abilities. OfficeTeam also cares about your progress because your success is, by extension, their success. They want you to be successful! I would suggest to not get too comfortable staying temporary. Unless that's your thing, so be it. If you want to get yourself in a company that would suit you, OfficeTeam will do what they can to place you. Once you are in the door, you need to be proactively looking out for company opportunities or using the time to boost your resumé to get into a field that can benefit from your ongoing work experience. I would highly reccommend Robert Half / OfficeTeam to help get anyone who is looking for work. As long as you are honest about your skills, open to new opportunities, passionate about finding a job, and ready to get to work then this is the place to go! read more

Terrible agency located in Walnut Creek/Santa Rosa/San Francisco. Nobody returns my call. They just keep on sending me emails for job opportunities but when you call, they don't answer and goes directly to their voicemail, and you never get a call back. I sent my resume on numerous job opportunities for which I am qualified for in their website but never got a single call back. I had to call and follow up and the one person I spoke on the phone said I need to register with them first and do all the paperwork. I did this on two occasions already. Oh, and the other two reps reached out to me once and never called me back on the status of my application after I completed all the necessary paperwork including reference and my last four digits of my SSN. Robert Half has been terrible from the start many years ago. Very, very unprofessional. They definitely need improvement in their process or let the bad reps go; otherwise, it's better to close their company! They will never get you a job or place you on one! Do not apply there and don't let them help you because they will not. read more

OfficeTeam is simply the best temp agency I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They genuinely care about their clients and do everything in their power to place people with companies that are exciting to work with, rewarding, and the best possible fit for your skills and personality. They perform proficiency tests and interview you personally upon completion to discuss your goals and desires in seeking employment. I strongly recommend Robert Half OfficeTeam to anyone who is lucky enough to have one of their locations nearby as they're the most professional and caring employment agency I have ever been able to work with. Thank you OfficeTeam for helping me achieve my goals and get my foot in the door to a wonderful company which truly cares about their community, clients, and employees. Give them a try! Research before you agree to an in-office interview. Officeteam/Robert Half will ask your boss when they call for a reference if they would hire you back. If they would, you're in, but if they don't/don't comment/won't comment, OfficeTeam won't work with you. I spent over 2 hours at the Walnut Creek office filling out forms and taking tests and then was told at the very end of the interview that if your last place of employment wouldn't hire you back that Officeteam wouldn't work with you. I'd think that a deal breaker like that would be the FIRST thing they'd say to you so they don't waste your time or their time. I've signed up with 2 other agencies and explained my situation and both places said that they could work with me no problem. I get why OfficeTeam has this rule in place, however, they need a disclaimer or something when they contact you about an interview so they don't waste your time or their time (or your money...$8 to park in the parking garage). Also, I read a lot of reviews about how different job placement offices didn't get them interviews or work, the most useful advice the staffing consultant I interviewed with gave me was that a job placement place was meant to be used as a resource, NOT A CRUTCH! So, instead of just signing up with someone and waiting for them to call, get out and actually look yourself too! (Getting off soapbox) So 2-stars for my experience. I'm sure OfficeTeam has it's good points; however, I didn't get that far with them. read more

I was referred to Robert Half by another employee of theirs who had nothing but positive remarks in regards to their response time, availability in assignments, and pay. Once I submitted my resume Amber very quickly reached out to set up a face time interview. The interview itself was comfortable and welcoming. Following the FaceTime interview Robert Half / Amber sent my resume to the housing authority. All in all, it took less than two weeks to get a job offer through Robert Half. I'd given my current employer notice of resignation and thanks to Amber's promptness and hard work I won't have a lapse in work at all. I couldn't be happier with the job offer or with the assistance I received from Amber. She's great and I highly recommend this agency to other candidates seeking employment. read more

We all have had that friend who listens and then has practical advice well that's been my experience with Amber Davey at Office Team in Walnut Creek CA. Shortly after Amber got my email highlighting my interest from Joann Walker ( who is very helpful and kind) she set up a face time interview. This I felt was so considerate and convent in terms of time and cost. Amber was professional and yet I felt comfortable to instantly share all the necessary professional history and she ask the appropriate questions to later matched me up with the perfect career opportunity. This lead to an eventual interview with one of their clients who normally takes some time before deciding to higher someone from the agency. Prior to the interview Amber daily had sent me emails and we've had conversations that she presented tips and suggestions on things to bring to the interview questions to have prepared being ready to encountered anyone from the office the moment I arrived to the address. Amber had prepared me so well that I felt comfortable to be conversational and just share aspects of my professional history and asked authentic questions about the company and the position so much so that the client after the interview immediately called office team and let them know that they wanted to hire me. I had not been so successful in recent history so I can only attribute it to the excellent approach that is taken by Amber and those at OfficeTeam in Walnut Creek CA. I am proof that they have succeeded and getting job opportunities for those from diverse backgrounds and unique skill sets. read more

I just recently applied to this Temp Agency, and I met with Amber, I passed my Microsoft Word, Excel, and Data Entry test with scores at 90% above. I am praying and hoping they find placement for me. I have the credentials, and the experience, but I have not been placed yet. I just interviewed last Thursday, but I do know sometimes they find placements for folks asap. I e-mailed one of their staffing agents named Maya in San Francisco on Thursday there was an Administrative Position that had been posted, and I e-mailed her all of the necessary documents, and the website stated that no one had applied yet, only me but I never received a response. So I called and left a message and still no response, then I called again on Friday and Maya answered and told me the position had already been filled although it was posted on their website the following Thursday. Maya did call me today and asked me if I wanted to work one day for a company doing Data Entry, but I need to pay rent one day for most likely $15.00 with used gas, would not be worth it. I am hoping for something, if not I am hoping for an honest reason why they not be able to find placement for me. I have been working about 4 temp agency and none of them seem to ever find work for me. Its really disheartening. And this $15.00 hour among employers is a truly sad for the cost of living in the Bay Area, I have a B.A. and M.A. all that money for school and when it comes to getting a job, those credentials mean nothing to employers. We will see what happens. read more

I wanted to say thank you to Leanne and everyone at Office Team for all of the help. My goal going into this was to find myself a job that I enjoy. After weeks of searching Indeed, Monster, etc. I was unsure if I would ever come across a career path that interests me. That is when I stumbled across Office Team. The dynamic was amazing! I came in, told the team what I was looking for in a work environment, and that very next day received an interview opportunity with a great company. I find it incredibly refreshing, knowing that this team really listened on what I wanted. I cannot thank you all enough for everything! I highly recommend Office Team! read more

I met with Erika in September 2016. She seemed nice; however, upon reviewing my resume she said that I shouldn't put too much experience on my resume due to the majority of employers seeking millennials. I was shocked; was this ageism?! She also said my salary requirements were too high for the locale. She said she would follow up with me but I never heard back from her. I did secure a position on my own in San Ramon for the salary I requested; however, after six months it wasn't the right fit for me and the commute was challenging. Thereafter I applied for a position posted by OfficeTeam. Rachel followed up with me and I sent her my resume in anticipation for a physical meeting the following week. Needless to say, I never heard from Rachel to set up the meeting. I contacted her to follow up to which she replied with an apology and an attempt to reschedule. I replied with a couple of dates that would be good -- that was on July 5; it is now July 13 and I am without a reply. I have great solid administrative skills so what is the problem? This type of treatment from both Erika and Rachel is not the level of service I expected from OfficeTeam nor should it be the standard. Needless to say, with what I have been shown in terms of the level of customer service is very poor. I see many job posts from Robert Half and OfficeTeam that I feel I am qualified; however, with the experience I have had with OfficeTeam, I am hesitant to apply. read more

I initially called so I could see if I could be a fit for an entry level position in the healthcare field, but was told without experience they would have the "administration" side work with me instead (they have the healthcare, administration, and I think a tech side that works with people of different experience) . I love Accountemps and Robert Half International (RHI). I originally registered with the OfficeTeam branch of RHI and was interviewed by them (they are in the same office as Accountemps), but my information was passed on to Charla Cameron. Charla is AWESOME - she found me a project that lasted a good 60 working days at Wells Fargo, where I was able to meet great people and earn a nice paycheck. She is very personable, enthusiastic, and eager to get you to work. Talk about follow up skills, Charla has the energy and drive to get back to you - even if its to tell you that you're out of luck and that there isn't any work for you. I was recently laid off due to lack of work from the Wells Fargo project but I keep in touch with Charla, who always gets back to me within 24 hours just to touch bases and make sure I'm doing "okay." I can't say that about other temp agencies, so I am very happy to recommend Accountemps as a resource in your job hunt. Hopefully you'll have as much luck as I've had! I've had plenty of others snub their nose at me so this is a refreshing change. read more

Office team seemed like a very good temp agency to work for, but if you want and honest review READ THIS! Alyssa Langier was the only helpful recruiter. Panicia and the other recruiting staff are horrible . They never called me back when I was awaiting for my next assignment, everytime I called to check in they said they had nothing available for me. I met some of the Office Team staff back when I had a job elsewhere, I believe we used them to staff a few positions and they were always able to send us viable candidates to fit our needs. After I left this job and later returned to the area I remembered Panicia at the Walnut Creek office and gave her a call to begin my job search. I signed up with a few different agencies around the same time but Office Team was the most considerate in actually helping me get exactly the kind of position I was seeking. (I wanted to work 4 days a week and within a few miles from home....another agency scoffed at this request saying I could not afford to be so selective in 'this job market') Within a few weeks I had interviewed at a local place and started my new job! They are also great at checking in with you making sure everything is going well. read more

My experience with Office Team has been exceptional. I had been looking for a job for about 3-4 weeks, getting to the point of doing something I was not really in the market of doing. I was actually contacted by a member of Office Team to help me with my journey. From there things took off. I had my interview over the phone (very convenient), then I took an assessment. The next week I had an interview and I got the job. They saw my skills and helped pair me with a great fit. I am still currently on assignment and I hope the transition to my next opportunity, being as this is a long temporary position is just as great and smooth. I will be sure to keep you posted on my experience thanks. read more

Yep count me in as a fan of this Office Team branch. Not only are they quite professional but truly care about helping people land gainful employment rife with remunerative wages (all evident in their helpful seminar months ago with interviews, cover letters, resumes, etc.). Only gripes I have are sometimes they don't return voicemails as promptly, such as if leaving a message about availability and a strange policy on updating your information if without a job for six months (re: bringing in your Social Security Card and driver's license despite the fact that information never changes, save for a new mail address that you can notify them through without this procedure). Otherwise, I recommend them. read more

I highly recommend Office Team (Oakland) for both temp work and permanent placement. My experience is that the staff here is very skilled in placing people in the right positions. I signed up with them after taking a year off of work and after being previously employed at the same company for 20 years. I chose a temp agency because with that much time at one company and then taking time off, I knew I needed feedback on my skills and perhaps some tutorials, as well as interviewing experience. And my thought was I would also work at a few companies and see what was out there. And I also chose Office Team over other placement agencies because they have a lot of experience in administrative jobs in the medical field, my area of expertise as an Exec Assistant for a big hospital. I met with Larisa, one of the Directors. She was, essentially, my first "interview." I was impressed with her style... direct, honest, no sugar coating. She gave me important information that I needed, since I had been out of the work force for so long. My computer skills needed updating, my degree should be completed, etc. She also helped me with my resume. Having come from a job where I was held in high regard, I had high expectations. But she brought me down to earth. And that was important... we can be in a little bubble about ourselves, our previous work experience, and need to understand that it's a tough market. YOU have to be willing to improve and adapt and make yourself a viable candidate for a company. And to support that, Office Team offers great online training and EVERYONE should take advantage of that. Larisa did her best to send me to temp jobs (where I had to interview... another big surprise) that matched my salary expectations and experience. After two bombs, the third was a hit, and I was hired on after six weeks. I wasn't intending to land a job, I was actually looking forward to temping for a while, but this job was such a perfect fit that it was great to be brought on permanently. Throughout my experience of interviewing, and then temping, Larisa encouraged and maintained a relationship with me. She gave me feedback and tips to improve and encouraged constant communication with her. Something to remember as an employee of this company... you not only represent yourself, but you are a representative of Office Team, your employer. Your obligation is to treat every day as an interview and be as professional as you can be. If you are serious about your profession and getting work, Office Team will work with you and make sure they place your correctly. Get your resume together, and make an appointment. They will help you every step of the way. Be realistic, be honest, be humble, be willing to make adjustments... And don't be afraid to let them know what is and isn't working... the goal for them is to find you what YOU want, and make a good match. read more
