I went into this dinner with low expectations, but honestly I was pleasantly surprised. The menu is huge and there is truly something for everyone. I got the Three Cheese Chicken Penne and the portion size was huge, though the breadstick was quite dry and made me wish I had an Olive Garden breadstick instead. The fish and chips were fascinating- I've never seen such a large piece of fish used for fish and chips but it seemed to be cooked well. Our service was also super fast. There were a ton of high-school students being generally loud but I didn't mind it, if you're looking for a more peaceful dinner this might not be the place for you. read more

Overall we had a very good service -our waitress was very attentive and took our orders without pen & paper. I tried the garlic shrimp & chicken platter. Included a large scoop of mashed potatoes . Stopped in for lunch and had to wait to be seated for awhile before someone showed up. Finally got seated with menus and our server stopped by to take our drink orders. We ordered the French onion soup, boneless wings, and half rack of ribs with fries. The French onion soup is always a favorite here. Has pretty good flavor with plenty of cheese, bread slices and onions. Just wish there was more soup placed in the cup, comes about half full. The boneless wings were good, covered in plenty of barbecue sauce, also asked for a side of sauce just to make sure there was plenty. The ribs were okay although did get the small end of the rack so felt a little cheated on the size. Honey bbq sauce had good flavor and the ribs were tender and easy to cut off the bone. Fries were nothing special and the quantity was modest. Service was good and the restaurant was pretty empty so the noise level was nice and low. Overall it was a just okay visit, more of a 2.5 stars than a 3 but can't quite split the stars so I'll give them the extra half. Might go back again and have something else but given the cost it won't be the ribs again. read more

The dollaritas were a good value, however some of them were a hit or miss. I split the 2 for 25 entree with my friend and we both got the Caesar side salad and the three cheese chicken penne. My boyfriend and I stopped in the place during the Super Bowl because we knew it wouldn't be crowded and there wouldn't be any lines. Luckily, we were right. Upon entering, we were immediately seated and had waters brought out to us. Overall the service was very prompt. Our waitress was super nice and always had a smile on her face - we felt very welcomed! Our food came out within the half hour which was great and we were able to indulge in our brunch burger and four cheese mac with honey grilled chicken. The meals were warm, filling, and affordable. The interior of the restaurant felt a little cramped and not so open, but probably because the design was to enable sitting more people. Bathrooms were very clean and pleasant. There is enough parking, however with a medium sized restaurant, I figured there would be a little bit more. And even if you can't find parking, you can always park near the little mall in the same plaza (though that would mean you'd have to walk a little to get to the place). read more

Courtney/Blue should not be tending bar. This is the second time I've been here while she was behind the bar. First time I got up and just left because she never acknowledged our presence; rather, "hi welcome to Applebees. We are super slammed right now so I'll be with you asap" would have been appreciated. This time there were only three people at the bar and barely anyone in the place because of the holiday. I watch and listened as she spent a lot of time complaining about management and things other than doing the job of a bartender...make drinks and acknowledge restaurant guests. Things are just outta whack. I heard manager go back to the kitchen and was very vocal about a $95 takeout order needed to be comped. First, customers should hear that, and second why did an order just sit on the line for so long when he said it was ready 20 mins prior? The joint is empty because of the holiday. Here we are again at Applebee's with a more disappointing review. My wife's steak came out perfectly, and my ribs were ok - - - except where was the rest of them? I thought they gave me the child's portion by mistake. That, plus the fact that it doesn't come with a vegetable. I ordered the 1/2 rack (which was actually a 1/4 rack) that comes with fries and slaw. I asked for garlic mashed in place of the fries which was no problem. Then I asked if there was an alternative for the slaw, and was told it only comes with the full rack! Are you serious? Meat and potatoes does not a meal make. Every other restaurant we've been to always offers some type of vegetable with their ribs. In fact, our favorite eating establishment offers a house salad with their (in house smoked) ribs. Which, of course, I'll be getting my ribs from here on in. And truth be told, the only reason we were there in the first place was we had a $50.00 gift certificate we had to use. read more

My daughter placed an order online. Went to pick it up at the time it was supposed to be ready. Was told she never placed an order. She showed them the online order and credit card receipt. She was told that she would have to go home and call the manager. She came home and did. The manager told her she would have to take it up with her credit card company and hung up on her. Her mother called back and got a different person that said her order was in fact there and she could come pick it up. My daughter went back to the restaurant and picked up our cold meals. COVID rules were practiced and we felt (4 of us) very comfortable. Our waiter, Gustavuos I think, was just fantastic. He was attentive and personable, just the perfect addition to the wonderful meals we enjoyed. The bartender was also pretty great, blue shark margaritas could not have been better! We had 2 for 25 meals with the best salads to start, they were large, fresh, and filled with perfect ingredients. We had the ribs and the chicken penne meals, wonderful. Went here for my friend's 21st birthday dinner and there was absolutely no hospitality. The waitress didn't introduce herself or anything and after telling her that it was my friend's birthday she didn't say happy birthday or even congratulations. Barely engaged with us the entire night besides asking what we wanted for food. When we finally did get our food, some of it was cold (breadsticks, mozzarella sticks, wings). She offered no refills on water and when we ordered a fudge brownie for our friend for desert she brought it to the table and said "We don't have enough people to sing happy birthday" and then walked away. However, my issue lay with my combo meal, where I ordered garlic mashed potatoes and instead got French fries instead. However they were very quick to fix the issue and I was very pleased. For a fast food chain this was the fastest food service I have experienced to date. From the moment we sat down and placed our order our appetizers arrived in 5 minutes. Right on time as soon as we finished our appetizer our main meal arrived, food was very good as far as portion sizes and the taste was phenomenal. Because of the whole covid 19 thing, my wife and I decided to place a take-out order. We wanted something different for dinner... didn't feel like cooking... so we ordered some burgers. When I returned home with the food, we were very disappointed. The burgers were greasy ,under cooked, and cold. We ordered one with no pink ,and one no cheese. Both came back with pink...(one more than the other) and with cheese. The fries were cold and they tasted as if they were from the night before. We have been patronizing Apple Bees for years, and this is the first time we have ever been let down....sorry to say I don't think we will be ordering from them again read more

Even games for $1.99but then why you go out for dinner in first place if you just play games during dinner? Food: 2 for $25 was terrible. Got wonton taco which I thought was decent. House sirloin and half rack ribs is just a disgrace. My fiancé said I cook better than that. The plates were just sad to look at. No meat on ribs. Steak with veggies and mash potatoes were microwaved. Our stomach didn't feel well after. Sirloin was an extra $2 too. If I have a gift card for this place, probably would not find me there. Last night me, my boyfriend, and my friend went out for drinks at this Applebee's. To say it was my worst restaurant experience is an understatement. It was a wonderful visit up until the point I ordered a Bay Breeze. Our waiter Chris was amazing! Personable, outgoing, and hilarious. Our food was great, the service from HIM was fabulous! That was until I ordered the Bay Breeze. The first one that came out was all around disgusting, very tasteless, and harsh. I sent that one back, and got another one. I watched her make that one and noticed she was adding Vodka, so I tried it and sent it back because it just wasn't good. Finally she came out, and when I say came out, she grabbed the glass and stormed over to our table. She proceeded to yell at me and tell me that I was wrong because I didn't order the Malibu Bay Breeze. Then she huffed and said she would remake it, and stormed off. She made sure to blame Chris for the mix-up as well and that Applebee's trained her to make it with Vodka. Now, I have NEVER heard of a Bay Breeze being made with Vodka, neither has my boyfriend who was a bartender for 5 years. The whole thing with a Bay Breeze is how smooth and flavorful it is. The correct reaction from her would have been to come over, or call me over to the bar to see why I kept sending it back and see how she could make it to my liking. I understand everywhere trains differently, and I understand that yes perhaps I was wrong in assuming that a Bay Breeze was made with coconut rum. However, she had no right to literally yell at me in front of the whole restaurant. From now on, if DESTINY is working the bar, I will not enter the establishment. That was the most HORRID customer service I have ever received. I do not get offended easily, but for a check that was almost $100, I am a little upset that someone could treat me so horribly for literally no reason. Something that could have been settled with a simple question, turned into me being yelled at and accused. She would have gotten an amazing tip had she found a way to fix it, but instead she has possibly made it to where I will never come to this establishment again. Judging from what I have heard from friends and family who have been served by her, no one likes her customer service. Perhaps it is time to rethink her employment. read more

My husband and I visited on 9/28 Arnd 3 pm. Not many customer where in there very few. We sat and watch people come in after is and received there order before us. 3 times. Are drink we're never filled and we left them at the end of the table . After an hour of waiting and no explanation of where our food was I flagged s waiter. To get our waitress that we were leaving and explained why . No food for an hour , no refill while we waited. We ordered the 2 for 25 which included the appetizer. We were told the manager would come speak to us. Never did. The waitress charged us 13 $ and change for the wings and blamed our experience on the kitchen. Yet she never once came by. What a great job they have done with updating their menu offerings! One of the only late night dining places in the area we enjoy going here after a nearby movie. Affordable with a lot of great options - our whole family loves this place. The Fiesta Chicken is my usual go-to and their salads and desserts are always fresh and well made. We had a good experience when we came for dinner. My girlfriend and I both ordered an appetizer and steak entrees. The food came out quickly and by and large was pretty good (as far as chain family restaurants are concerned). There was a weird moment where we were asked if being seated at the high top tables were okay. I asked them if we could sit at a table (there were plenty of open tables) but instead they sat us at some hybrid high tops near the bar.
