No issue because she was busy and I didn't want to interrupt her. Just seemed overwhelmed. 11/22/25 2 stars - Only because the bartender was sweet. I tried the 2 for $25 at Applebee's in Black Acres (aka Green Acres) and it was a huge disappointment. I've eaten at the Westbury location before and it was good, but this location? No thank you. We usually go to TGI Fridays and decided to switch it up. Bad idea. We sat at the bar, and honestly the bartender was the highlight of the whole visit. Sweet, funny, and she must've called me 10 different pet names in an hour. Loved her energy. The food? Not the same story. My sister's mozzarella stick was the only thing that tasted right. I cheated on my usual bone-in chicken and ordered boneless--NEVER again. It was greasy, heavy garlic parm, and just plain bad. The grilled cheese burger tasted like they slapped it together and threw it on the grill. No seasoning, no flavor. The tomato soup was also a miss. The food may look good jn my photos, but it wasn't good. It was four in my party and no one finished there food. Needless to say, I won't be back. My sister and decided to try this location at Green Acres Mall. We haven't had AppleBees in years. This location there are plenty of parking spots at the mall . It was Sunday afternoon so surprisingly plenty of seating spots were available. We ordered Caesar salads, boneless wings, chicken fajitas and oriental salad. Everything was so fresh and delicious. On 7-23-2026, 5:03pm I placed an online order through Uber Eats for Applebees in Green Acres (Check #96191507116). I ordered the prime rib dip sandwich and the dip was not sent with the sandwich. I also ordered the skillet apple pie with caramel sauce, no ice cream. The container had the apple pie, a small container of nuts and an opened container with a white sauce that had opened during transit and spilled all over the pie. The caramel sauce was missing. The white sauce was some kind of vinegar based sauce. Absolutely Disgusting! Obviously the order notes were ignored. whoever packaged my order didn't care to check the order before sending it out. The sandwich did not taste right without the dipping sauce so my $38 +18% tip + other charges was a waste! I will not be ordering from this Applebees again because when I called st 7:15 pm and spoke with the manager to give my feedback as requested on the bottom of my receipt his response was " you ordered through Uber Eats not my problem!" Extremely unorganized, works just standing around doing absolutely nothing. My goodness, this restaurant seems to compete in providing the worst service. I went here to eat with my family, and every dish they brought out was a disaster. And the waitress is entirely to blame, and I'll explain why: if you took the order and didn't pass it correctly to the cook, it's your fault. If it was the cook who didn't give you what you ordered, you shouldn't have brought the food to the customer. Your duty is to tell the cook, 'This is wrong, correct it.' We also like the service, they even have a photographer who comes around to capture precious moments. They cater for the children, giving them their own menu with a coloring section and a crayons. This is my local Applebees. I used to come here ALL the time when my children were younger but maybe not in 2 years or so. I ordered take out during the pandemic maybe once on Mothers Day. There was a vibrant bartender that night. She seemed to be calling the shots while doing her thing and I didn't order food. My drink was TRASH omg but the bartender had such an great attitude. She knew how to engage me and my date. I didn't complain about the drink bc it was just the Perfect Patron Margarita. (it was just missing the perfect part). It tasted like more margaritas than tequila and I guess I wanna taste my tequila. It just wasn't hitting there wasn't that tang that happens when it mixes with the salt. Idk what it was missing. I decided to have nothing else but my date got messy wings and a Long Island iced tea. I made a video of the bartender being herself but sadly still do not know how to upload videos here lol. Wow, I'm happy to discover an Applebee's right here. I love the neighborhood vibes that are included in all of Applebee's interior designs. Each restaurant uniquely reflects the specific community that they serve. This Applebee's interior is decorated with photos, murals and memorabilia that capture the feelings of the area. I like experiencing the welcoming and warmth that each township has to offer. Applebee's helps me feel that I'm a part of the crowd whenever I'm out of town travelling on my own. It's why I usually choose Applebee's. It was Monday Night Football tonight and The New York (Football) Giants were the buzz once again. Eli Manning was making his return after being benched in the 2nd week. Playing their arch rivals The Philadelphia Eagles, it was going to be some evening. Checking out the menu, I decided to get the 3 appetizers for $15. Deal. I chose Caesar salad, Chips & Salsa and the crispy onion rings. My selections were okay but I'm really really used to better at Applebee's. Again.. probably my fault for picking the wrong things. I noticed my barmaid discreetly hand a small menu to the couple at the bar across from me, I heard her say to keep it quiet. Didn't know quite what this was..(But).. I later discovered it was their Football specials. Another couple to the left of me, and also had these special offerings. As I glanced around everyone else seemed to have these small football special menus. I was about to say something but then my food came to the table. As I said, the food was just "okay".. it was just some limp lettuce, oily onion rings and nachos (mostly broken) I left without hearing thank you or goodbye. No problems.. Eli went on to have have a disastrous football game. So I guess my visit tonight was appropriately similar. Perhaps this experience was just a disconnect and requires an additional visit. This was not a good experience. My chicken was Greesy and my Shrimp and Mashed Potatoes were cold. My Man said his Nachos was good. Our Drinks Were Horrible I don't think they were mixed well at all. They were so bad that we didn't even drink them and asked for something else in exchange. This really made me upset bc it seems like. Every time there's a restaurant with predominantly black customers the quality of the food and service goes down the drain. And it's sad bc my man and I just wanted to go some where local for a bite and a quick drink and I feel like it was a waiste of time and money. this specific location( green acres) has a larger interest in profit and misrepresentations. The first example is there doordash menu prices in comparison to the actual franchise pricing. The second is their poor service and tendency to cut services such as in store pick up. I presume they are not doing well financially and a cut back in workers and etc to save the establishment all while the consumers receive the short and of the stick. As a unsatisfied and local customer I will say, I don't believe it is doing them justice. read more

I went there for lunch because I thought the prices would be decent maybe it's what I bought. I also had the steak and shrimp Parmesan and garlic which was excellent no complaints with the mashed potatoes. Food was terrible. I asked for med spice wings they were dry with plain Buffalo and they weren't even hot. Shrimp Alfredo had no taste, was bland and they shrimp didn't taste all that fresh. This Applebees is consistent when it comes to good, drinks and service. The low rating surprised me quite a bit. We came here back during the restaurant anniversary and again a few weeks ago, and it was still really good. I always sit at the bar, so I suppose my experience is different from those sitting at regular tables and booths. Salads are fresh, boneless wings are fried crisp and juicy. The star here would be the steaks. They are cooked to perfection (medium, for me) and is full of flavor. They even have happy hour after 10pm, everyday of the week with 1/2 price appetizers and drinks. Take a chance, and sit at the bar. read more
