Review #995 Posted on 2.6.26 We've came here a few times now, most notably tonight Friday the 31st for takeout. The last time we came to eat here, we dined inside and it was packed. This spot is located on Naglee Road right next to the other restaurants, Mall, & Target. It's pretty close to the freeway as well. This night for whatever reason it was way more calm/tame, not as many people. The food at Applebee's is underrated in my opinion. However on this night they forgot to pack our salad, and the bags are packed up so tight you can't pretty much open them on the spot and see if anythings missing without having to basically repack it with new bags. Order was also a tad late, I came about 10 minutes after quoted time and my order was yet to be packed up. I will keep coming back to this location though as I feel they give pretty good service, and have a nice staff. read more

On Tues, it's $2 off glasses of wine, $2 off woodford old fashion, $3 bud light 16 oz, $3 michelob ultra 16 oz. Food wise it was steak night, so their top sirloin was $9.99 for a 6oz and $13.99 with 2 classic sides. I also believe after 9pm they do half off apps? Not completely sure, but I recall waiting til around that time to order few apps. Our friend wanted boneless wings when we got there, so those were full price at $15.99. The ones I ordered were only $8. Food was as expected for an Applebee's. I wanted the old fashion special, but apparently they were out. So I just asked if they could make a skinny margarita. I know, completely different, but I just wanted to try the OF since it was a special. Also, if you order a back, they charge you an extra $0.49. I found that very odd. Plus, the hubs wanted an actual soda separately to have with dinner and not a back so there's that. The bar area was pretty mellow. We sat at a table where we could view a few different TVs. One thing to note, this place was freezing. I was sooo cold. Idk why they had the air blasting so much, but I had to wear two jackets to stay okay. Not warm, but okay. I just finished eating here. Horrible terrible fries were salty af. Food took way to long waiting like an hour. Waited like 20 minutes for my drink and barely any people in here and they took super long. I would not recommend this location!!! read more

Service was good we were seated soon after waking in during dinner time in a Sunday the place was not crowded or busy at all. Easy parking food was ready fairly quick. Two out of our 3 menus were missing the middle main page so if you do not see the steak or chicken selections ask for a new menu We had the bourbon chicken with shrimp garlic mashed potatoes they were good my son had a delicious looking club grille sandwich Drink specials were a good selections so just come in sit back and dine for a bit. My family went here for lunch, I got bourbon street shrimp and chicken, it was tasty and delicious. Chicken was cool right and the shrimp are not over cook. So much mushrooms which is a plus! Smashed potatoes great texture. My niece and aunt order all you can eat, the ribs very tender and great flavor! My mom and sister order chicken lime. They enjoyed them. Peach tea was good. Our meals came out great! Service was great, I didn't get he's name but she was checking on us and making sure if we need anything. The place is a little bit empty, few people. It was clean and neat. My review has nothing to do with the waiter. He was extremely nice. The reason for the 3 star was because the mash potatoes were cold while the rest of the food was hot. I never had cold mash potatoes in a restaurant before. Also one of the dishes we ordered came out 15 minutes after the dish before. Everyone already finished eating because the last entree arrived and that was my entree. The artichoke dip and mozzarella sticks were both pretty good but all the other dishes were okay. read more

My boyfriend and I just walked in and we were seated right away and were looking forward to having dinner there but after waiting for 20 mins at our table with no acknowledgement or even offered drinks we had to walk out. Unfortunately it's happen to us before and really wanted to give them another try but it happens every time. read more

Well we changed it up and decided to try out the new 2 for $25 deal today and pretty disappointed. There was no wait time which was nice our server was amazing very attentive and had great customer service but the food was not great. My steak felt too cooked (I order Medium Rare) as well as my daughter order the same and her steak was not cooked looked raw her mash potatoes had no flavor definitely will not be coming back prefer going to our go to spot. The atmosphere was a bit loud but it's understandable music box was playing some good jams the TVs had a lot of sports going on vibes were cool a lot going on just wish the food was great. read more

Family and I went back to Applebee's after a year or so. Food was prepared well, service was quick. The only reason for 4 stars is that a table next to us was playing music and the staff didn't ask them to turn it off. Not a huge deal but minor annoyance. read more

wonderful date night spot when you want to go later at night. I got the chicken bacon ranch burger and i'm not sure what my bf got but it was delicious! the shark bowl drink was delicious and bigger than I expected to be and everything was great, the only thing was our server. we felt VERY rushed because we barely got our food and not even halfway through eating she brings our check. my boyfriend wanted to order another drink too so it's really weird she did it so early into our meal, the store wasn't closing for another hour or two. her name was Amy and she looked pretty annoyed when he asked for another drink and brought out the check AGAIN after he got the drink. what if we wanted dessert? it was just an off putting experience after getting our check right away feeling pretty rushed. read more

Waitress named Natasha is very nice and courteous that's why I added 1 star. Quality of food is terrible. Chicken wings were burnt. I was hoping they would have gave me credit since the wings were burnt and cold. I think the cook needs to be trained on how to cook chicken. Wonton tacos were ok. Nachos were cold and disgusting. Not the same as it used to be. I should've checked reviews. We had to wait about 4 minutes to be acknowledged and seated. Waitress came to take our order. I ordered the Shark bowl and my husband got a bottle of beer, it took 5 minutes and had been sitting for 3 on the bar counter. My husband ordered the grilled chicken and shrimp and I ordered the Riblet platter. His meal was good, even though he asked for no onions and my riblets were warm but didn't satisfy my riblet appetite and fries were cold. My Shark bowl was just an overpriced slurpee! Won't go again, I had my choice since it was my belated birthday dinner, will pick better next time. First off I ordered the the Chicken ranch sandwich. At no time was I asked if I wanted either of the (2) sandwiches. Due to there's a crispy or a grilled. So upon my waitresses approval she figured I was fine with whatever she chose for me. I was not happy when she came out with a grilled chicken sandwich with yellow lettuce and half a$$ put together. Upon my food arrival I put a smile on my face and just ate my hot food. Nobody trying to wait another meal period for their food, especially just being off of work. The Tracy Applebee's "Carside Pickup" system is poorly run and unreliable. Customers cannot depend on the restaurant to bring out their orders. Sometimes they will and other times, like for me today, they simply don't. When I went in looking for my order, they brought it out from the kitchen. This is the nastiest place, we got seated at a dirty sticky table. Asked to get it cleaned still so sticky the menus stuck to the table. This is my 1st visit at this location. We were seated at our booth as requested. Placed our order and waited for a while for our food to arrive. The presentation was just okay. I asked for extra mushrooms, but I didn't get that. I only had 5 really small shrimps on my plate. I was not happy, but I let it slide. My drink was delicious! Picked up food from here to go as requested by my in-laws for a lunch visit at their home. I'd never been to Applebees and I know why.. my husband ordered the salmon, was very over cooked and dry, I had the Nachos with chicken and it wasn't good, my in-laws ordered steak & shrimp, it was ok except for the mashed potatoes, was dry, no moisture or even gravy. I also had the chicken tortillas soup in a tiny cup, I did appreciate that they left the tortilla strips out of the soup so it wasn't soggy.. and the soup was pretty good I must say. We also had the spinach artichoke dip with chips which was crispy and good. But overall, disappointed. read more

My husband and I dropped by the Applebee's in Tracy CA a couple nights ago for a quick late-night meal. We were immediately greeted by a young lady who we later found out was Blanca, the manager. She was very pleasant and told us that she would be right back with us after she seated another party. True to her word, seconds later, she returned and asked us if we had a preference on where we wanted to be seated. We mentioned a booth and she gave us the option of two in the area we pointed two. However, after several minutes, we apologized and asked if we could move to another location. She was very accommodating and escorted us to another table which was perfect. She spent a few minutes conversing with us which was nice. From the very beginning, our server was very attentive. She immediately approached us after being seated and asked if she could start us off with any beverages. Our drinks were brought to us and from there, our server, Amy gave us impeccable service!! She was friendly, caring, easy to talk to and professional. Whenever she passed by us to attend to another table, she glanced at us to make sure everything was good. Having been a waitress myself in my younger days, I notice the little things and tend to be a little critical of service and food. However, Amy checked all the boxes with perfect service! She really knew what she was doing and made her customers feel special and like they were the only customer in the restaurant! The food was great too, nice and hot.... compliments to the chef. I'm writing this review because I got so drunk off of one drink (I don't drink often so please bear with me, haha). That drink was smackin'! And our food was pretty good too! Giving them 4 stars because the food was pretty decent and the seating arrangements were not too bad. The sad thing about it too was they had ONE SERVER for 10 tables like what the heck man. Big props to Amber for hanging in there and doing her best! The service was garbage though oh my God we waited so long to get our food and drinks. The servers kept asking and bringing out food that we did not order. They are not organized. One server asked us about a plate of chips and salsa and put the plate down before waiting for us to say they were not ours. They ended up being on the house, which was good for us. We ate the whole plate! It's always going to be hit or miss with any Applebee's. Come with low expectations and patience. read more

The service here sucks. What happened to Applebee's. Used to be the go to spot for happy hour or just a quick lunch, but over the years.. service has just declined. We came in, they seated us almost immediately. It wasn't packed nor lonely, just average. Full bar though. The guy takes our drink order.. doesn't come back with the drinks for a good 15 mins. Then left the drinks and didn't ask if we were ready to order, he then takes another tables order and comes back to us, takes our order? Okay. We ordered our appetizers... another 20 mins and nothing.. 10 minutes... nothing... 47 mins and finally the appetizers came out. Wrong of course. Then we ordered our dinner. Food was cold, not cooked properly.. My drink was way too sweet, no alcohol. It was just a really long dinner. We sat in Applebee's for a good 3 hrs & 15mins. And didn't even eat half of our food, because we had to send it back. And not once did we get an apology.. or even a discount. The waiter barely came to check in on us but every 40 mins when he'd bring the drink.. then the appetizers & then the entree. Which were all done completely wrong. We won't be returning. read more

04/16/2023- Came for lunch at about 12:50p. No waiting was seated right away. Service was ok, there may have been only 1 or 2 taking orders. Getting a coffee refill was very slow. I love coffee and can drink 4 cups or more with a meal. I was only able to get 2 cups because it seemed to take forever until we were checked in. I was practically done when they finally checked in us and I could ask for the coffee. My brother was nearly done later when they finally came back again to check on us for him to get a soft drink refill. Food was salty. I had the basic grilled chicken breast that was over seasoned with salt, plain tasting mashed potatoes, plain steamed broccoli. Not that I wanted them that way, that's just how they came. Even the $1 hot wings were salty. My brother had a bacon cheeseburger that he said was very good, but his fries were salty also. read more
