Worse service ever. Actually I can't even say worse service because there was absolutely no service. Wednesday night with hardly no crowd. Seated right away. Server asked for our drinks. We inform him we are waiting on two other people but we are going to go ahead and order. He returns with our drinks and asks us if we are ready. We tell him to give us a couple minutes. That was our last interaction with the server. He only had two tables including ours. We watched as he serviced the other table multiple times and rolled silverware in the back. 35 minutes later we get up and leave. Never going back there! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am so disappointed in the customer service at this Applebee's. Keep in mind I am a waitress as well and I have a lot of sympathy for restaurants and waitresses overall because I understand being on the other side. I am 21 years old, about to be 22, and when I ordered a beer at this restaurant the waitress said they had to take my ID behind the bar to verify it is real (mine is out of state) since they had been getting many fake IDs. I have absolutely no problem with that at all. I told her I get it, it is no big deal. After 15 minutes, the manager (her name is Liz) came out to speak to me and my friends who are my same age (one of them is out of state too) and told us she didn't know if they were real so she was going to call the cops to verify. We both said that was fine and that we understood since our waitress had explained what had been happening. The manager then proceeded to continually ask "are they going to tell me that it is fake???" in the most disrespectful, rude tone I have ever been spoken to. We politely said, "No, they are real we just aren't from South Carolina. It is ok if you need to verify with them, we understand." She repeatedly asked us about if they were real and we even told her we would show her pictures from all of our 21st birthday parties almost a year ago. Finally, after her hounding us with questions in the most disrespectful way, she told our waitress "you can get their drinks, they have convinced me." I am sorry but we told her she could call the cops if she wanted to, we don't need to be convincing her of anything. If she didn't want to serve us, she should have asked us to leave instead of being so rude. We just wanted to get one beer on a Saturday night and instead she ruined the entire mood of our evening. After talking to other friends about this, this happens on a regular basis and many people we know have had the same experience. I will never be going back, you can guarantee that. It is sickening to think that if an older adult was with us, there would have been no problems but because we are young, she felt like she could be that rude to us. This is the absolute worst customer experience I have ever had and I have never been talked to like this by anyone, let alone a grown adult. Have some manners and treat your customers kindly. read more

They allow smoking at the bar which is right in the middle of the restaurant. Two women were about 10 ft away and their smoke was all around where we were sitting in the restaurant. Food was not great. Highly discourage your choosing this restaurant. In my opinion lots better choices nearby. I don't live there and I don't have any conflicts of interest in giving bad review. read more

This is quite possibly the worst dining experience I have ever had. The restaurant really has no differentiation between smoking and non smoking sections, so the waft of Marlboro should be expected should you dine here. And then the food was slow to arrive, and quite awful in presentation and in taste. The ensuing gastro upset was also another thing I had to deal with. I truly felt sorry for the pleasant waitress who clearly knew this was a sub par experience for this party of 4. While finding a decent restaurant is a real challenge in this area, any other would be a better choice. read more

I'm very disappointed with this Applebees. I ordered a peppercorn steak, when I got it , it looked like slop, I bet inmates eat better than what that was. I asked for my money back and the manager refused, but offered me some credit toward another meal, with a disgusted look on my face I said no thanks. The manager was not that polite and had no respect for me as a customer. What ever happened to customer is always right? They don't ever have to worry about me eating there again. Don't get the riblet basket, or the riblets at all for that matter. Tasted like they were made yesterday (maybe earlier than that) and put in the microwave before being served to me. Very tough, chewy, and rubbery. Fries were good and server Bash was very good. My wife liked her steak and pasta, so hopefully it's just the barbecue that sucks. read more

This Applebee's needs to be closed or they need to revamp the whole place. The smoke was aweful! We found dead flies in the windowsill and the floor was sticky. Food was fair, it was hard to eat seeing those dead flies and thinking what the kitchen looked like. We will never go to this Applebee's in Seneca again! A disgrace to the Applebee's name. read more

We ordered a bourbon st steak and an appetizer sampler. The steak was over cooked and the buffalo wings were cold. Our waitress didnt even ask about our food. The manager was great and gave us a free desert but our wonderful waitress hoverd over us and snatched the plate the minute we were done. This was one of the worst times we have had here. read more

ToGo is absolutely terrible. They can never seem to get an order right. Very frustrating. Dine in experiences tend to be MUCH better than ToGo. Food is always good...when they get it right!!! Complaint is completely with attention to detail and service and not the food. read more

I grew up in Seneca and the service has seemed to decline over the years. On my most recent experience, we were greeted by a hostess who seemed to have an issue with us having 9 people in our party. She sat us at a round table that barely fit all of us. The restaurant was no where near crowded, she could've pushed tables together. Then, after one of my friends had an issue with what she ordered, I could clearly see our server talking badly about our table to her manager and other co-workers. The manager did a horrible job of faking his sincerity when my friend expressed her displeasure with her meal. Soon after leaving, the server called one of my mutual friends talking bad about us and told her we didn't tip (which a few of us did, because some of my friends didn't order food). A couple days later, one my friends checked her bank statement to see that she was charged over $40 in tips when she tipped in cash. Come to find out, many people have come forward saying this girl (the server) has stolen from them and some people have had the same issue happen to them at this particular Applebee's. read more

I have never written a review, but my experience on the night of December 26 2016 needs to be reviewed. I have eaten at this restaurant several times I. The past a never had a problem however this night was different. I was in a party of 6 we were seated around 730 pm. From the very start the waiter only brought 2 house salads instead of the 4 that was ordered he did bring the other 2 after being corrected. It took 29 mins for this to accomplished. A member of our party asked for a second bottle of beer, again this was delayed until about 10 mins before he finished his meal. He requested this beer 3 times before it was finally delivered. My wife and I ordered ribs which were very overlooked almost burned. There were several mistakes on our bill that had to be corrected. All in all it was not a pleasant experience. The restaurant was not busy as we only waited 5 minutes for a table. I cannot say that I will never visit this Applebees again, I will say it will be a very long time before I do. read more
