This location is great. Visited for the first time in probably 15 or so years and had a wonderful experience. Inside was clean and looked newly renovated. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Food definitely exceeded my expectations; everything was excellent! I ordered the grilled chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I had such an amazing experience at Applebee's and I have to give a huge shoutout to our server, Jolie! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome at the front door, which immediately set the tone for a great visit. That kind of first impression really matters, and they nailed it. Once we were seated, Jolie took over and made the experience even better. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming the entire time. She answered all of our questions with patience and made sure we felt completely taken care of. Honestly, it felt like she could read my mind l..my drink was always refilled before I even realized I needed it! She stayed on top of everything and made sure we had all the little things that make a big difference such as extra napkins, to-go boxes, anything we needed without us even having to ask. That level of service is rare, and she absolutely went above and beyond. Easily some of the best service I've ever had. On top of that, the manager was also fantastic. She came by right at the beginning and even helped take our order so we could make it in time for happy hour, which was such a thoughtful and proactive touch. My Husband went with some friends and asked if I wanted something brought home. I asked for two things; A side order of Onion Rings and a side order of Garlic Green Beans. The onion rings were fine after the air fryer but the beans? Not only were they NOT garlicky at all but they could not even bother to put any butter or even salt on them. What a lively place. This really is San Dimas neighborhood bar. Seemed like everyone from town was here. Good mix of a older and younger crowd not to mention families too. I liked how the bar was in the middle of the place. Plenty of TVs to watch sporting events. I can see this place getting live during big games. Menu has a little something for everyone. The service was great. The server was checking in on our party throughout our stay. Food came out quick. The Tex Mex Shrimp Bowl was good. I think it could use plumper shrimp. San Dimas, Ca We are in the area for a night and this restaurant is in the plaza where our home for the night is. The place isn't busy when we came so we were seated right away. By the time our server came, we were ready to order. I got the 6 oz steak with mashed potatoes and green beans on the side because they were out of broccoli. While my SO got the Bourbon Street Steak with mashed potatoes as well. My steak is kind of tough on the side even though I asked for medium but it was edible, tasty. My SO's steak is much better - tender and well seasoned. Our server kept on checking on us and refilled our water glasses. Veterans discount is accepted among other things. First of all, shout out to our waitress Chelsea because she is a real one. Homegirl was so friendly and attentive even though she was waiting on several tables. She recommended the chicken wonton tacos ($10.99) and I could sense that she genuinely liked them which made me like her even more. Service was 10 out of 10. My sister and I shared a medley of things: -boneless wings in buffalo sauce with ranch ($14.79) -chicken wonton tacos ($10.99): sweet Asian chile marinated grilled chicken stuffed into crispy wonton shells topped with signature coleslaw + cilantro -bacon ranch crispy chicken sandwich ($13.99): crispy, hand-breaded chicken breast topped with two strips of Applewood-smoked bacon, ranch, pickles, shredded lettuce on a brioche bun Honestly, everything was mid and that's what I was kind of expecting. The chicken wonton tacos were definitely giving Asian, but the signature slaw tasted very similar to the coleslaw at KFC, so that made for an interesting bite. Could the boneless wings been less bready? Yes, ofc, but again, I didn't mind it. Overall, it was serviceable bar food and is relatively cheap compared to other chain restaurants. For $14.00, you get a pretty substantial chicken sandwich with a side of fries which is a good deal considering that fast food combos can run about the same cost. There are no Applebee's near Los Angeles or the city I live in in Inglewood so whenever we're in a city that has Applebee's, we always stop there. We were pretty pleased at finding such a nice location to watch games and have a decently priced meal. I'd always liked the Applebee's Grill in Alhambra, so had been wanting to give this location nearer to my current home a try. First, the ambiance for a sports bar was nice and cozy. Great lighting. Plenty of space and comfort on a game night. TVs all around for a good view from most tables. I enjoyed the Red Sangria and it was offered on the Happy Hour list! The Queso and warm and crispy Chips were very good. I really loved the Asian Chicken Salad! Tender chicken, fresh ingredients, and great flavor. Price can't be beat for such a huge and quality salad. My company enjoyed the baby back ribs and tasty french fries, as well as them carrying Blue Moon. We both loved the coleslaw! We will definitely be back, particularly to watch games! read more

From refilling our water glasses to noticing when we needed extra napkins (without us even asking), she was on point with everything, super considerate and kind. Living in San Dimas for the past two years we have enjoyed the customer service of other establishments just fine, but until Jolie we had not seen such stellar service while dining in a restaurant. The food is good but not very healthy. They used to offer weight watcher choices. Service was friendly. They offer happy hour wines and spirits and we were there at that time. I ordered my HH wine and was informed they were out of it, so I asked what wine they offer in its place, they told me and when the bill came they charged me full price for the wine!!! Personally I feel that it wasn't my problem they were out of my wine, the least they could have done is give me the HH price for my wine!! Well, not such good customer service!! I have been coming here for over 20 years now. However, an unfortunate incident that occurred a couple of days ago has ruined the whole experience for me. I had two glasses of wine and then closed out my tab. The bartender on duty (Aurora) proceeded to humiliate me in front several other regular patrons. I have witnessed her antics before with other customers, but never dreamed that she would pull such inappropriate behavior directed towards me. I will NOT return ever again. I have been a weekly regular at Applebees for the last few months - I should have reviewed them long ago. The weekday chef has me hooked on the Whole Lotta Bacon Burger. This is the first time in my life, and I am old, that my bacon is actully extra crispy like I order. It is really good bacon to start with, nice and thick, but when it's cooked crispy it is the best ever, and he cooks it PERFECTLY!!! MY KUDOS TO HIM!! The entire staff is great, you are always greeted with a cheerful host/hostess. My go-to server is Katie, she knows my order better than I do and she is on top of my every need or want, but every server I have had has been very friendly and good at what they do. The 'manager of the day' often comes by to check in to see if all is okay and when my server is busy they have even gotten my refill for me. So I ordered on line directly to Applebee's. I chose to pick up order. I have to say this was the best take out I have had in a long long time. I ordered the 2 for 26 deal. The side salad was very big and fresh. The portions of the 2 main courses were great. Enough for left overs. The food was hot and ready in 20 minutes. Absolutely fantastic. It got me to thinking about my past purchases through grub hub. There were monumental differences. The temperature of the food the portions and the packaging. So are the orders treated differently due to restaurant employees not receiving tips and grub hub drivers are receiving tips? Are drivers eating some of the food? I just think this issue should be looked into. The differences are just too much to be coincidental or ignored. read more

Newly remodeled. Looks very similar to before but freshened up. It was overdue so this is a welcome update. The service here is very good. Servers are friendly and professional. Food quality is good for what it is. Low score because of the restrooms. This restaurant has the most disgusting men's room of any restaurant I have ever been to. Last 2 visits there were no paper towels to dry my hands and both times the restroom was filthy top to bottom. The stench of stagnant urine was gag-inducing. Restrooms are clearly not being cleaned well or on any kind of regular schedule. Unsanitary and absolutely vile. FIX THE BATHROOM SITUATION, MANAGERS!!! read more

Baby Back Ribs with French fries - 3/5 stars. A bit dry and the sauce wasn't my favorite. Chicken Finger - 3.5/5 stars. Ezra practically cleared his plate. So why a 5 star review for 3 star food? Went to Applebee's in San Dimas, and I had a great experience. Even on Friday nite, wait was almost non-existent. Ordered the dinner for 2 with my wife, I had the Grilled Chicken and Shrimp, my wife had the Three Cheese Penne. Meals were quick, serve hot, but very tasty. Chicken cooked to perfection, shrimp was really good. But it was our server that really made it special. I think her name was Natalie, and the manager very warm and friendly.
