Well there was a long wait while many tables available? And then once we were seated, it took a while for our waiter to come.... and his breath was really bad... every time he spoke it was bad.... it took a while for our drinks to arrive then (three out of five)drinks came and we had to wait about 15 more minutes unfortunately and didn't even have water. The table had two different appetizer orders as well as two different appetizer trios.... only one appetizer came while the others had to watch their friends eat..... and then one of the trio came for the same person that had the appetizer, and then finally the males came before the trio and other missing appetizer! One of the entrée burger and fries were lukewarm so fries need to be replaced.... the silverware was dirty so we needed plastic,,, Then it was hair in my friends pasta, so it was no good after that.... What a disgrace. Walked in there last night with my 16-year-old son while a man at the bar who was intoxicated and able to sit there and be belligerent as if he was at a house party. We had to suffer through his curses and yelling and laughing out loud while we had our lukewarm food. The waiter took my order while walking away looking over his shoulder so I was actually rushing through my order and speaking loudly so he could hear what I was saying. Never been bur enjoyed my lunch after a turbulent flight . We ordered the 2 for $32 and the spinach artichoke dip . Great upgraded fast food lol . We ordered 2 tipsy leprechauns along with 4 extra shots of jamo because who are they kidding , that drink is a huge glass of sugar . The very first time I was at this particular apple bees location, I had just left a very special occasion and me and my wife and another family member were there to enjoy the rest of our day and were still celebrating.we were seated right away, there wasn't really any wait at all . The ambiance was relaxed and the decor looked cool ,this was my first time at any apple bees, the waitress was very pleasant and courteous, she took our order and we didn't wait long at all.so we ordered grilled chicken ,steak, salmon, mashed potatoes, French fries, salad.and drinks a few regular drinks and alcoholic beverages. The food wasn't bad at all. So my first impression wasn't a bad one. Apple bees is a few steps up from your old traditional fast food restaurants. The place looked really clean, and the rest rooms were clean. We sat back and enjoyed our meal, what ever we didn't finish we took it with to go.the whole vibe at our table was great , the restaurant was jumping everybody seem to be enjoying them selves. I haven't been in an Applebee's in years and recall that they had a fairly solid two-for promotion. I was surprised to see that the menu is so limited otherwise. I order cajun salmon, which was actually pretty good. The fries were nothing to write home about and the salad was your basic assembly with a bunch of shredded cheese, My beer was skunky. I could tell that the keg had gone bad. Unfortunately, after one big initial sip, I couldn't unring the bell, and wound up with a stomach ache. The service was below average. Overall, 2/5 at best. went here with my mom for some lunch. we did the 2 for $34 deal which came with one appetizer and two entrees. we got the spinach dip for our appetizer. the dip was really good but a lot of the chips were stuck together in clusters which was a bit difficult to work with. for my entree i got the bourbon street chicken and shrimp which was super delicious. i would definitely come back for this entree again it was awesome. however, my mom ordered the 6 oz steak and it was a flat sheet of meat. it looked like a porkchop and was really disappointing. read more

Later the server comes back to the table asks us did the manager come to the we told him we want to leave but I will pay for the 1 thing I did consume, N after another couple mins he comes running back apologizing for the manager not coming and telling us that she gave him permission to let us go and not pay for anything. I think it's very unprofessional of the woman manager who was on duty last night July 14 around 9pm. To not come right away to handle the situation. That poor server should not have to wait his tables and deal with manager situations because she refuses to tend to consumers. I highly do not recommend anyone eat at this particular Applebee's. Unless u want to risk a bug situation as I had to deal with last night, only for the manager for not help her employees or customers in any way. My Applebee's experience is usually pretty decent. However today I ordered the appetizer platter. The wings, mozzarella sticks, and quesadillas were spot on. However, the chips and spinach dip were subpar. The chips were oily to the point that if I tried to crack them they would just bend. I am so disappointed in this order. This place is the shifty place. I ended up here because my son wanted to eat after his eye appointment. The host was missing when I arrived. The people kept coming in. Finally someone shows up and starts seating customers. The wait for a waitress or waiter to come to the table was over 25 minutes. I was super annoyed . We ordered the food. No idea why there's such hate for this particular Applebee's* Yes, yes, this place is a chain. Yes I know we live in one of the greatest food cities on the planent, and yes I know there are better places to grab a beer and a burger. OK now that we got that out of the way. Sometimes all you want is a friggin cheap, giant beer, and some crappy bonless wings. and sometimes, you want to do that in a place that wont judge you for wearing PJs at the bar. Sorry not sorry, but bum days at Applebee's are one of my favorite guilty pleasures. That being said, not all Applebee's are created equally (looking at you hell hole version of Applebee's in Valley Stream - who hurt you?). This one, however, is particuarlly OK - and that's high praise for a chain! They are nice when you walk in, seats are usually available at the bar, and there are roughly half a million TVs to watch whatever game is on. Speaking of which, they have 2 for 1 drinks during some games, which I am of course a fan of. They staff is nice enough, and the food is a million times better than the cold crap you get at the Vally Stream location (getting a vibe here? Good, never go to the Vally Stream Applebee's....like ever). Anywho if you're looking for a quiet, well appointed Applebee's with a decently cool staff, look no further. I come here often and always seem to forget to check in. During the night hours 10- closing, where the 2-1 half off appetizers and half off drinks are happening, it's just messy. Nothing comes out on time and waitress/waiters are very slow. I was here tonight and I was so disappointed. I normally love this location but it's just backwards. My meal came out before my appetizer, and I ordered dessert to go and that took over 25 mins just for a blue ribbon brownie! The food here is always delicious and fresh, I've never had a problem dining here except for at night. Save yourself the time and just go during the day, it's the same thing just a few dollars less. Went here last night. The service was ok. The food was mid at best. The server had too many tables at once which seemed to have him flustered overall but he still did a good job. The 2 for 1 drinks were not advertised as you can't mix and match them it simply says 2 for 1 select drinks. So I paid for 2 drinks when I thought I was only paying for 1. Had I known I would've simply ordered that instead of two I was not tryna be tipsy on a Monday night knowing I have work at 8am. when I mentioned to the manager the confusion I was told that it's two drinks in one cup. Which I feel like it's unfair because now I'm having 4 drinks with the intention of only wanting 2. The manager proceeds to tell me 'it's common sense' which I found very condescending but nothing on the drink menu indicated that you could only get two of the same drinks. As a server I feel like it's important to let the customer know that it's 2 drinks in 1 cup or that it's 2 of the same drinks for 1 price. Also, had I not mentioned the confusion I would've been short a drink since two espresso tini' cannot fit into 1 cup. My mom had ordered a $5 Margarita and it came in the same glass size as my strawberry daiquiri however I was informed that I received 2 drinks in the same glass whereas she received one. Had the manager been better about the way he was acting I probably wouldn't have left a review and I'm also upset that I drank way more than I intended. read more

Took my girlfriend here and the waiter had a bit of an attitude problem. The food took 45 minutes and was at best mediocre for the long wait time. Apps were cold and my entree was the steak sliders and the only thing you can taste on those sliders is grease. Ughh I use to love this Applebees location so much a few years back. Today me and my mom went to sit down and grab something quick because she was hungry after church. Our server Bristol was very attentive and did a great job. The hostess for the afternoon shift I guess you would call it that because it was around 4:30pm was just very nasty and stand-offish. She seem like she didn't really want to be there and would've had other things to do instead. It was little bit of a wait I didn't mind because I was once a restuarant worker, so I understand Sundays is usually a day where it's not fully staffed. Anyways she sat us at a table with straw papers underneath and the table was very filthy and sticky. We asked can someone come and wiped the table down and she was adamant about someone already wiping it down. We expressed that it was sticky and had a clear view of crumbs on it. She said ok I'll be right back. She never came back she went right in the front and stood by the hostess stand. She need to find another hobby or job if she doesn't like working in customer service. We weren't rude and we were very polite about it smh. The manager I guess the guy was one because he wore red came and swept under out table, which that wasn't his job to do but it was very kind of him.
