He was the perfect balance: attentive but not hovering, friendly, and asked all the right questions without being overbearing. My husband ordered the crispy cod tacos (which, in hindsight, I should've gone with) along with some buffalo wings. I decided on the crispy cauliflower tacos and a strawberry lemonade. But it is that attention to detail that separates a 3 from a 5 in restaurant land. Bread was meh, and dressing on the salad was weak. And while the calamari was pretty good probably 30 percent of the pieces were pretty soggy. Also the chicken marsala had great sauce but clearly reheated chicken. Now other Italian restauarants locally are guilty of that (recently seen at Stephano's and all the time at Pizza Village) but that alone isn't going to get you a 5 in my book.
