The vibe is super friendly, and the staff is awesome--especially Stacy on Tuesday nights. She's always welcoming and just cool to talk to. The steak sandwich? Phenomenal. And the tap beer selection is seriously impressive. I'm hooked on the Voodoo Ranger. The place has a great atmosphere and a cool backstory behind the name. It's still fairly new, but from what Stacy said, it's doing really well--and I can see why. I'm in there every Tuesday and Thursday night now. You don't need to worry about bringing your own clubs as they do have rentals, but you can bring your own too. We did a two hour rental in the afternoon and only booked the day before with no issues. The staff were some of the nicest and most helpful guys I've had the pleasure of doing business with, they even gave us some extra time since we showed up a little late and there weren't any other rentals after us. Good selection of drinks and if you're hungry, they don't have their own kitchen but they have a deal with Rhum next door to order food, which is some good tasty bar food. I love the sort of mid century modern style they have going on, it fits the golf atmosphere, but none of the snobiness that it usually brings with the sport. Parking can be a little tricky, but there are a bunch of lots around (some paid, some not) which are likely your best bet, even if that means you'll have a short walk. Might just be my favorite bar in patchogue, golf or otherwise, and will gladly comeback here any time.
