Even though the restaurant was clearly short-staffed, she handled multiple tables with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. She checked on us consistently and made sure our large party was well taken care of. We came in and requested seating for a party of 12. It was around lunchtime and the restaurant was not full--many open seats. The hostess said she would find us a table. Some of the party was running late and the hostess absolutely refused to seat the ones where were present before the entire part arrived. We wanted to sit and order some appetizers. All the advertising about their burgers, I had to try. The menu doesn't show the $9.99 burgers so you're have to ask the server. Basically, all the burgers are $9.99 , but you have to ask to get the deal. Dave, my server, was very attentive and knowledgeable. You get to chose pink or no which is good since I prefer pink. Ordered the whiskey burger (pictured) and was thoroughly satisfied. Came with bacon that was fully cooked and tons of fixings. So large that I took half home. NOW, the big surprise, the bill was $9.99 plus tax which included the fries and iced tea. read more

We stopped in last minute before catching a movie next door, and we're so glad we did! There was no wait--we were seated and greeted almost immediately. Despite the restaurant seeming a bit understaffed, our server was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and handled everything like a pro. We shared the 2 for $26 deal, and my sirloin was cooked perfectly--tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were cold at first, but our server fixed it right away without hesitation. For three people (including two drinks), our total was under $100, which felt like a great value. As a fun bonus, I got a drink served in a bucket, which I'll be repurposing as a cute plant pot. One simple request. Shrimp & Parmesan Sirloin, mind you $25.99. Simple Request: Burnt, Black, & Welldone. 42 minutes later, they bring out my food. First thing I notice is the red blood on my plate. Cut into the steak... yeah. No. Not done. Send it back. Druggie Manager comes out with her phone and flash light and tells me it's the light that makes it look not done as I'm literally showing her the blood on my plate. My aunt chose this place for her birthday meal. There were 5 of us. We decided on lunch since they'd not be as busy. We were seated and the server took our order. We started with drinks and appetizers. In most places, drinks and apps arrive first. Well, not at this Applebee's - it all arrives together. And some of it is cold - but that's no matter to them. In addition, we were told that the smaller of onion rings orders come with 5 and the larger with 10. 2 people each ordered the larger order - each arrived with 8. Some were overcooked (read - burnt). They weren't terrible but they weren't hot either. The server did bring out 4 more after we raised the point. Wife and I each ordered an impossible burger. They were small and somewhat thin - burger king's are better than these. I asked for extra onion. I'll bet you know where this is going - right, no extra onion. Service was SLOOOOOOW. The restaurant was only about at 20% capacity. There was plenty of staff. The prices aren't awful if the food was of decent proportion and quality. But it wasn't. In summary....apps, drinks, and meals all arrived together, service was slow, 8 onion rings instead of the correct 10, and luke-warm (at best) food almost all around. Very disappointing experience. TLDR - this place should be the last place on your list if you do not want to waste your money on a bad experience. read more

Stopped here for dinner and the atmosphere was pretty good, the wait time for the food was not back either. The food was fresh and the flavors and textures were nice as well. The wings were crispy but cooked just right and the pasta was well flavored. The food was pretty inexpensive so if you're on a budget and still want to eat out you might want stop here. Our server, Starlett, took forever for taking orders and messed up almost every detail. We had multiple people order all-you-can-eat and we all only got one portion within the 1 hour and 45 minutes we spent in the restaurant. It wasn't even her that brought out our food, it was the manager. The manager was nice at least. This was on. Thursday evening, dead as can be. Food was okay. Ambiance was okay, although I noticed other tables looking around for their server as well. So let me start with my husband and I went to Applebees which was one of my favorite places to eat . But after ordering my meal A (Bourbon steak ) I go to eat it and find a long hair on my steak. I call the waitress over and she took it back and called the manager. I talk to the manager and asked if they wear hair nets when cooking? He assured me they did. But as I sit and watch I see everyone coming from the kitchen with stringy hair and no hair nets some just stringing all over serving food. Fast forward. Got bill see they put two steaks on my bill and then claimed he comped one . Now I am not wanting a free meal cause I have money and will pay for my food , but I think they should have competed the meal. Won't be going back . read more

Went to Applebees for free Veterans Day dinner tonight and this year was exceptional! The respect shown from the greeter to the waiter, who was exceptional and checking out was fast. I had to wait 20 minutes until a server finally came to my table and I didn't even get my drink until 25 minutes after that; 45 minutes after I arrived. I normally would've been done eating and gone within that time, but the service was so slow, with several food/bill errors, and it took 2 HOURS. Well, it has been a LOOOOONG time since we stopped at an Applebee's. We asked for a table and ended up with a high-top table in the bar that rocked badly. We waited a very long time for a server. We were out running errands and this was our "linner" about 3:45 in the afternoon. So long, in fact, the bartender brought out our silverware because SHE noticed we were not too thrilled. We ordered the chips and queso, chicken Alfredo with broccoli, a rack of babyback ribs, an Asian salad with chicken and a classic cheeseburger (3-course deal) for 11.99. Man, I miss it when the twins used to order off the kids menu. The queso, what little was in the bowl, was not too special. The onion rings were good and the Caesar salad was pretty good. The chicken Alfredo was good and filling, the burger was kind of burnt on one side and the Asian salad was good-ish according to my wife, because the chicken was rubbery. The ribs were pretty good and the baked potato was cooked to perfection. I can't say it was anything too amazing or even wonderful. My wife and I are at this location the other night and our service was horrendous. We will never go back to this particular Applebees again. Our waitress disappeared numerous times for ten minutes each time, I waited at least ten minutes for a refill on my sweet tea, we were not impressed and the food was not very good to boot! There wasn't any hand cleaner available after opening the door to enter...the same handle that everyone entering uses. No hand cleaner available at the booth we sat in either (thank goodness we had our own on hand but how many people do?) Staff wore masks and the menus were coated in plastic for cleaning...a good thing. James, our server, gave excellent service...kudos James. We had an appetizer of crunchy, tasty onion rings that were delish. Tom had a Steak fajita Roll-up with fries, I had an Oriental Chicken Roll-up with coleslaw...both meals were super. I come - here & there because of the prices. Today my daughter & I dined in & I must say I'm already questioning why I came. We waited up front to be seated for about 3 minutes. That's a long time to not be acknowledged at the front door. When we were finally greeted the 2 ladies were in debate of who was taking who because ones shift was ending (this was one of those it's not what you say but how you say it" scenarios) Once we were seated we were told our server would be Adam. Well we waited for Adam for a good 10 mins & I overheard the lady that seated us say that we had been waiting too long and someone needs to take us. She asked if Adam had been by yet. I told her no. A few minutes later Adam arrived and says "the other lady isn't able to take you so I guess I'm the one" We order and get our silverware... one of the forks had a rust spot & was dirty (picture included). I told a lady that was waking by. She took them and came back with a different pair and inspected them in front of me. I told her thank you. She walked away and said "hmmmhmm" UNDER HER BREATH. At this moment I'm completely turned off. I could tell they were all having a bad day. It seemed to be "busy" but not busy enough to the point that customer service skills are to be forgotten. Place is dirty saw dust on back of booths in bar. My table was dirty asked hostess if she could wipe it down she did with an attitude and still missed all the sticky stuff on the table. So I hardly ever leave reviews but I really wanted my server to be acknowledge. We have had Zach as a server twice now yesterday being one of those times and he is probably the best server I've had from any restaurant even high end places. He is very attentive and on top of everything not one person that I seen him taking care of needed anything, he was there instantly if he seen your cup low he would be right there with a refill now matter how busy. Last night his whole area that we was in was super packed but he still was on it. My surrounding tables herd me mention how good he was and even comented in that they agreed. Me and my girls like coming in after work probably 3-4 times a week and now we just want him as our server. He is great. Also laddies I asked if he had a girlfriend and he instantly shut me down saying he is married. But thank you Zach for your excellent character and hard work. Welcome to Applebees our waitress is great she was spot on! the seating staff needs to be retrained size matters as we enter the restaurant a "warm body as available to seat us" but was more interesting in seating us at a high top table after get past the table no we need a booth thing we were presented a booth that space for a very thin family I have visions of riding on a gray hound bus nope not going there so after showing our hostess the error she agreed and reseated I watch this hostess turn away a family because the customer ask for a regular booth or table even though the tables were available three out of five the customers is the whole purpose of the restaurant. read more

Everything was edible. The "Irresistabowl" southwest chicken bowl was near tasteless. It tasted like a bunch of dry, bland ingredients with nothing to bring them together.....like a salad without dressing. I'm glad my wife didn't eat all her mashed potatoes. Every time we come here, we are happy with the food and drinks. We usually get the pretzels and cheese sauce. The salads are good and the pasta dishes are also delicious.
