We had a wonderful experience at this location. We took my parents out to eat and it could not have been any better. We were greeted first by the host who was fun and did his job with excellence. He seated us promptly and even changed tables for us because of my father's concern of the a/c ceiling vent possibly blowing cold air on him. Two in our party had the bbq short rib tacos that came with cole slaw and seasoned fries. Everything in that dish was an eclectic twist on a standard dish and (not to be too comical) very delish! My wife had spinach artichoke chicken cavatappi. She said that it was very good and the portions were monstrous. Another in our party had the lemon chicken and said it was very good. The server was the best. She knew the menu like hee own book eand even warned someone in our party that a dish was spicy hot, to make sure that was ok, it wasn't so they ordered a different dish. Our girl also kept the drinks full, was polite, complimentary and funny. Our experience couldn't have been any better. read more

2.4/5 stars seems generous. Felt all the framing in the booth seats. Appetizers appeared to be served from a low budget little league snack bar. Plenty of food on the plate of fish and chips but it was super slimy. Not sure how tartar sauce gets messed up (I'm no chef) but they figured out how to do it. Floors were slippery and they seemed to misplace their mop and broom. read more

Twice out our last three visits the draft beer system was out of order, so we ended up with bottled beer that was not cold. The bar top is always dirty. The coleslaw tastes like chlorine. We've been coming to this location for 20 years, and the previous manager never allowed the restaurant to be in this condition. read more

I went to this apple bees with the martin luther king center and our experience was HORRIBLE. We were kind of a big group of 12 and they told us our wait would be 10 mins, we waited 25. We ordered our drinks and my friend ordered a oreo shake and it took 45 mins to come out! we ordered our food as soon as we sat down and we sat there for 2 WHOLE HOURS!!! when a person in our party asked the manager what was taking so long she said she would check and never got back to us. when we peeked in the kitchen the workers were standing around and one was eating pasta looking around. but out server was incredible if i had her name i would SHOUT HER OUT! read more

Great customer service Adriana was our waitress. Food was bad very VERY salty. Had the whole lotta bacon only came with one slice of bacon. Chicken and shrimp dinner was very salty , we usually order the same never had this issue . We didn't even finish all of our food, will not be returning to this location. read more

Got the bourbon chicken and shrimp with a caesar salad and mashed taters lol it was good. Chicken was juicy seasoned very well. We Walked in and were greeted immediately while Aerosmith was playing so that's an extra 100 points off the top . Rita was our server, made sure to get her name for this review! she was wonderful! Very polite and attentive, pretty and personable, she went above and beyond for us! Big Thankyou to the Moline staff for a wonderful dinner. Very nice and clean inside. Love the atmosphere also. read more

Curbside to go pickup was missing an entire entree from an order. Had to drive back to the restaurant, advised them of the missing entree. Had to wait 25 minutes for them to make the entree fresh. I received the entree but as soon I was back home again, noticed the entree order was STILL incorrect and was missing a $5 add on. Tried calling manager and waited on hold for 5 minutes. Gave up and hung up! NEVER GOING BACK! read more

This place is a train wreck!!! Let's start with the good. The restaurant was clean and the typical sports bar TV's etc. Nice menu. The Bad. SERVICE IS SERIOUSLY POOR! Here we go. We waited 40 minutes for two appetizers. The appetizers were served warm, not hot. (Baked Spinach and Artichoke dip) We ordered unsweetened tea with sweetener. We got sweet tea with sweetener. The Ugly. The couple (who came in when we did and had two servings of riblets before our food arrived) beside us ordered the all you can eat riblets. After the second serving, he asked for one more and was told that he couldn't have another serving. All you can eat is all you can eat. read more

I went there and everything started off fine. Me and my buddy ordered waters, it took oddly long to get are water but that wasn't a big deal. When I was brought my water there was a bug in it, I thought oh okay I'll just get another water but when she brought me my second water there was a hair in it. To add onto this me and my friend ordered the spinach dip that also comes with salsa. When we finished it she grabbed our plate and then the salsa fell off and splashed on my leg, and our server didn't even apologize. read more

The server was somewhat new and tried, but steak and blackened salmon were dry and over cooked. My wife had ordered the steak medium rare. Server said she'd get a replacement, that took 15+ minutes. The manager came but didn't seem too eager to handle the situation. This was our third time over the last year or so at different Applebees and none were acceptable. We're done with them. read more

We come in late most nights but come in to get the full service experience from apps to drinks to deserts and always get great service from server John in Moline. Food is always hot and tasty and he's very attentive and personable. Keeps us coming back that's for sure~~ 4/24/24 read more

We ordered delivery last Saturday. Quite a large order as we are a family of 8. A large portion of our order was missing so we requested a credit/refund for that. Unfortunately that left us scrambling to make accommodations to feed those whose food didn't arrive. After taking care of that, I sat down to enjoy my order. I had asked for a well done hamburger with fries and a side of mozzarella sticks. My burger looked like it was going to moo and run away in was so red inside! I thought alright, let's try the mozzarella sticks-nope. They were still cold and hard inside as though they had just been removed from the freezer, the outside warmed and thrown in my takeout container. Needless to say, whoever was cooking that night did an awful job on my order! read more

Came to Applebee's for mother's day. The server was kind and attentive. Food was a little slow, but it's mother's day, so don't hold it against them. Steaks weren't great, and the ribs were ok, but dinner with mom was the important thing. read more

Overall it was a great place, a simply nice establishment with a little more class while staying in a decent budget. Here are some of the dinners we got but not all of them. We went here for homecoming. I personally ended up getting ribs which were good and tender and fries, which you can't go wrong with fries so very nice. Along with the steak which was a little fatty but overall not bad. The garlic potato though where fantastic pur usual and yes so overall very nice place will eat there again. read more

I'm sorely disappointed in the quality of the food. It is really a shame. Applebees usually has decent food, and usually gets my order correct. If there is confusion about the order, it is usually somehow relative to sounding similar. Please explain how applesauce sounds like mozzarella sticks. I ordered applesauce for my 4 year old child as a side, they bring her mozzarella sticks. I have always loved the Bourbon Street Sirloin. That is what I always order, I like it medium rare. Boy was I disappointed. My steak was, at the least, medium well (closer to well). It was so tough, I was tempted to go next door to Lowe's to buy a chainsaw to cut through the steak. Chewing it was no better, I think I could have chewed my Jordan's easier than that steak. I will not be back. As far as the ambiance, I'm there for a meal. If I want ambiance I'll go to an art museum. By the way, I gave it one star because it wouldn't accept my review with no stars. I give this place ZERO STARS. read more

I kept getting stared at by the greeter. The food was good though, just was uncomfortable the entire time.

My family came for dinner for my father's 94th birthday. The food and the service were decent, but..... My sister had pointed to a "2 for $30" special for salmon on a menu and the waitress asked if she wanted the appetizer, but my sister said no. When the bill came in, the salmon was full price. They would not honor the "2 for $30" price unless she included the appetizer. The waitress had NOT stated that when my sister was ordering. They insisted we had to order the appetizer right then and there (It will only take 8 minutes!), so we did. A full 15 minutes later, the appetizer had not arrived. A disappointing end to an otherwise decent dinner. read more

We ate there today. Good service, good food. I have one suggestion, that I hope they would take in consideration. We are handicap, with one in large wheelchair. If they could try to save those tables by the bar for the handicap. I know they have the ramp in the back, but not enough space to make the turn to get to the table. I would understand if the place was crowded and needed to use the lower table but it wasn't. read more

First off I'll say, I know you don't go to Applebee's for a "Gourmet "meal but there should be at least some level of expectation. That being said, the food there was terrible. I had ribs and there was barely any meat on the bone. My wife had a steak that you really needed chainsaw to get through. Although the staff was friendly and the waitress was good, I cannot recommend. read more

Was told 15 to 20 minute wait because the kitchen was backed up..... only 6 tables seated and those that wanted to sit at the bar could with no wait and order their food. To go orders were placed and took out before we were seated. So how is the kitchen backed up????? Bullshit read more

I generally like this chain; my go-to favorites are the Fiesta Lime Chicken and the Boneless Buffalo Wings. Today I decided to try one of the featured specials, the Cajun Steak and Shrimp. I wish I had gone with my safe go-to options. My four ounce steak, while cooked to the right temperature, was not a very good quality cut of steak. I had to do that thing where you secretly spit out your food into a napkin, after chewing on a gross chunk of gristle. Service was great; when my steak was brought to the table, the server waited for me to check the done-ness. read more

Applebee's is Applebee's. They are most always the same. Our waitress was pretty good, very attentive I'd like to say. We waited quite awhile for food, which would be understandable if it were super busy or even a little busy but it was about average. The strawberry lemonade was a little watery which was disappointing because it is my favorite drink there. My quesadilla burger was on point, however. Which is why I'm giving this location four stars because we had a decent dinner. read more

The service was poor. The food was poor not sure who was cooking but they must have been a salt person because my wife steak was salty she asked for her steak to be just a little pink very little and it was still alive sent it back and all they did was burn the outside. The shrimps was cold which took about 15 minutes to get the 2nd batch was hot, the riblets was a little salty. I think they got a little carry away with the salt. We try to limit our salt in take due to high blood pressure. Will we go back to that one probably not. read more

This place has really gone downhill. Warm lemonade and semi cool water. Then we were here during non busy hour (Sunday 2:30), so you would think you would get HOT food. Mozzarella sticks were cool, chicken tenders were cool and dried out and fries were cold. Cole slaw really wasn't Cole slaw. All it was, was shredded carrots and lettuce in a cup. Hardly any of the dressing. Never seen such DRY Cole slaw in my life. Hardly anyone was even here, so not sure why the food sat in the kitchen for so long before coming out. Waitress asked if we wanted dessert 5 minutes after getting our meal. Seriously?! We just started eating! Nevermind the fact its FREEZING in the restaurant. Not coming here again. read more

Just wanna give a shout out to lil john, the waiter there. You the best dawg!!!!!!!!!!

Went to Applebee's on Monday for lunch with family. It was over $50 with tip. First, the fries for the kids meals were lukewarm or cold. I ordered a new item that came with rice. That rice? You bet...COLD. Told our server she didn't apologize at all. Just asked if we wanted a replacement. Fries came out just as soon as the check. HORRIBLE service, will never go there again. read more

Every time I've gone to Applebee's I've had nothing but good experience. We ate there today after staying away for 6 months. I think 6 months is not long enough. We had to wait for at least 25 minutes for our cold food to get to table. After a few bites I had had enough and told our sever that we wouldn't eat anymore. The server notified the manager and he apologized and took our food off the bill. I'm not sure if the fault.was with the sever on the cold food but she didn't make the tasteless food. We won't be back ever. Sad since Moline has such poor sit down restaurants. We have to go across the river to find just about anything to eat. Seams like good food in Moline comes out of a cat food can. read more
