I enjoyed the causubon dinner with steak, chicken and shrimp (it was very filling, as you can imagine) but did not care as much for the fajitas (meat was a little dry). Newly opened in September 2025, this restaurant has quickly become a hotspot. They take…read morereservations and that is highly recommended as we were there on a Thursday evening and we were able to quickly get a group of seven seated at 5 PM, but it was obvious that that could not be as easy later in the evening or over the weekend, peak hours. Plenty of outdoor parking with handicapped accessible spots makes easy access. Full bar/waiting area available if you do have to wait for a table. A Number of large tables available to accommodate larger groups is very telling about the type of business done by this operation. We were lucky enough to get there ahead of our group and get our table situated and ready in advance of their arrival as it became pretty obvious that they are shorthanded for the volume of business that they are currently doing. We found ourselves using the busboy for items such as additional napkins, water, etc. The manager did stop by to check on us and quickly helped to fill in some of the gaps For needed items by our group. The food more than made up for a bit of overwhelmed service staff. It's not that our wait staff was slow by any means, they were just slammed and moving as quickly as possible to accommodate everybody. Full bar available with absolutely fabulous margaritas. Amazing dishes that were high-quality, fresh ingredients, made to order and also delicious that every plate was wiped clean! We had a massive amount of food that included chips, guac, salsa, queso, empanadas, full entrées per person and a couple of folks with margaritas and our bill came out to less than $25 per person before tip!! I honestly think for the quality of food they might be slightly underpriced and per discussion with the manager he recognized that they need more help based on how busy and popular they've become in such a short time. Service hiccups aside, this restaurant should be able to maintain five stars without any issues with just a little bit more manpower. I'm giving the restaurant five stars because everything was so great and they are just working through some growing pains. I would definitely recommend coming here but plan accordingly, Should you hit during peak hours. This restaurant has a full breakfast as well as dinner menu so it would be fun to come back and try some of their earlier in the day options.

We ordered two appetizers and the three of us each ordered an entree. That's the end of the good experience. Three tables who came after us got their appetizers first. After an hour and ten minutes our entrees came and one appetizer came at the same time. After five minutes with our entrees and one appetizer we told the waitress to just forget about the second appetizer. The entrees we ordered were a tenderloin, a Chicago style hot dog, and a grilled cheese. That is what took over an hour to get to us. The food was fine, not great, not bad, but the service was terrible. The restaurant itself isn't very large but has very high ceilings. The walls and floors are all hard materials, therefore the noise is so loud you have to shout to be heard by the people you are sitting with. We will not be returning any time soon if ever.

This food is Mexican food for folks who have never eaten real Mexican food. The meat choices for the hard shell tacos are ground beef or chicken. The enchiladas, same. This is not Al pastor, lingua, carne asada, etc., etc., type of real Mexican food, never served in hard pre-made shells. I struggled down the ground beef enchiladas and left the taco. If you enjoy, say, Rudy's in the Quad Cities, you will probably enjoy the food very much. If you expect to find something more authentic to order for lunch your not going to be happy. This "food" was over $13 with tax. Way more expensive than actual authentic, filling, delicious, Mexican food in the Q.C.. I hate to give less than positive reviews, but honesty is important as well. Maybe "real" Mexican food wouldn't work for everyone at their location, but I think if they had an option or two they would gain a lot more good repeat customers including me.
