i love this place. when i went it had awsome service and awsome food. the waiter was so nice.

Ordinarily we enjoy going to Applebee's; good food, decent service. I don't know what happened last Saturday, but everything about this experience sucked. Walked in and the hostess told her partner in front of us that she 'felt bad for placing them in that section". So here we are sitting in this section, no menus. Apparently they expect every patron, young or old, to know how to access a scan menu, but whatever. We sat at our table for 20 minutes without being acknowledged by any server. I saw two women taking care of our section and not one came by and said anything to us. One server decided to pre-bus the table diagonal to ours. I was sure we were her next stop, boy was I wrong. Completely ridiculous! Have any of these employees ever heard of TEAMWORK?! Because I would assume if one server was busy, perhaps another could help out and take a drink order.. Terrible service will not be going back to Moline Applebee's anymore. read more

Unremarkable salty calorie-bombs dominate the menu. My boyfriend said that his steak was bland. My chicken was very rubbery. Applebee's just reinforces my disdain for chain restaurants. read more

This restaurant has a lot of good food but I have had quite a few experiences here. One time my mother ordered a margarita and it had shredded up plastic in it. We notified the manager and we did get a free desert. Another time we went we ordered our mozzarella sticks as our appetizers and when they came they were cold, we notified the waiter and he heated them up and also gave us another order for to go. When I ordered my pasta it was supposed to come with a breadstick and it didn't, but again we told the waiter and he went to the back to go get it. My husband ordered fish and chips. It was so greasy he sent it back. They didn't offer a refund but finally did after haggling. I had the salmon. It was over cooked and for those of you who eat fish, over cooking ruins the flavor and makes it dry. I said nothing since I was afraid a replacement would also be awful. The water was ok. read more

Waitress was racist. Im White, my wife is Thai. They told her they were out of lemons for the water she ordered. We sat and watched her deliver lemons to almost every person in there. There was a big jar of them sitting on the bar not 10 feet from us. She basicly ignored us untill time to pay. She suddenly turned friendly when time for her tip.Bad thing is that my wife is a server at a different restraunt and always makes me tip over 20% even with bad service. They always forget to bring our appatizers. Promise us discounts for such poor service and then dont give it to us. Also everytime i find something I like it gets removed from the menu..most recently the southern sauce for the ribs. Outrageous drink prices including soda!!! I was there on Saturday at noon, the staff seemed a bit slow considering the place was about one third full. I ordered the chopped chicken fiesta salad. The taste of the salad was okay at best, but the portion size was really disappointing! Tiny tiny tiny. No I did not order a half salad. The full sized was the only one on the menu. It seems that every other place in the area can make a pretty good Mexican chicken salad for ten dollars. Why can't Applebee's? Probably my last trip there except for the occasional friend who has a coupon and asks me to tag along. read more

Not impressed. Crowded, smelled bad, loud, lousy overdone or under cooked food, too much salt. The staff was nice, and parking is fine. The price was too much for something so average. Don't intend to return. read more

Extremely slow service. Lunch with any kind of a group is 90+ minutes. Carside to go is no better. Order wasn't ready until 15 minutes after it was supposed to be. The server dropped the food all over the inside of my car. They forgot my fries so I had to drive all the way back to get them. When I got home I discovered they didn't leave mushrooms off my burger (as required because I'm allergic). When I called to complain they hung up on me. So I was left with a burger I paid for and couldn't eat, and everybody else had to eat cold food. Run away from this travesty of a restaurant as fast as you can. You'll get better service from the DMV and better food from a vending machine. read more

We were a party of 6 and ordered at 6pm on a Thursday with appetizers. The appetizers was a half hr wait and did not receive our food til 729pm. When it arrived all the food was cold to the touch, one was wrong, and one had not gotten her food yet. We asked for it to be remade the server who brought the food out reacted with attitude. three of the plates were brought back out after just being microwaved and the other three were new plates. We were comped for our food but still had to pay for our alcohol which they had messed up on our checks so needless to say we left at 832 when it was all said and done. Our party agreed that we are never returning to this Applebee's again. read more

After watching all the new ads on TV, thought I would give the place a try. Walking in I was offered a small table for my wife and I, something I just don`t care for, so I asked for a booth. I was told sorry you can`t be seated at a booth, even though at least 4 of them were open. I asked why and was told we must keep things even among our wait staff and the two of us were seated at a table for 6. After being seated I again asked why should I take a table for 6? Again I was told that`s how we do things with a big smile and information about the specials of the day.. At this point I looked at my wife and said I hope the foods worth it. I ordered a large draft beer and it set, and set, and set at the bar waiting for delivery. The service was as bad as I`ve ever seen, and I suspect it was because I was taking up a table for 6 that could have been a much larger tip for the waitress. The food was mediocre, the service poor, and the beer was warmed up by the time I got it, not just the first beer but the second I ordered as well.. We will not give you another try since we obviously don`t believe in customer first. Was as if there was no managment, since the wait staff has rules to follow that make no common sense. read more
