Went here on a weekday afternoon. We were seated pretty quickly and had no issues ordering. The dip was good and the waiter was good about refilling water. She was also good about letting me know the impossible burger had an extra charge. The fries had a lot of salt and pepper, but the burger was weirdly plain. Be warned that I don't think anything on the menu is vegan as the impossible burger has cheese on it and I didn't ask if tge buns had milk or eggs. The burger was also the only vegetarian entre. It's a typical Applebee's so the bar is the main focus central in the restaurant. They had some funnlooking Halloween drinks, but I was driving. On January 12 I took my wife and my son at Applebee's for dinner it was a fun experience. I understand that they are doing. And all but really no one knows how to use a rag and someone window. Juice windows were covered in dust. The walls were covered in dust. That's one thing that we really didn't agree with we ordered my wife got a western burger, the waitress asked her pink or no pink. She said no pink. My son got a like a Power bowl. I got the impossible cheeseburger plant base. The waitress asked me pink or no pink on a plant base murder they come Brown. There is no pink but yet she asked me again pink or no pink. I said no pink I just looked at her. She was went ahead put fries with it. Well, I'm on a diet. I said no fries give me the side salad when she brought that out. It had the core of the lettuce in my salad more abundance of croutons, Applebee's has gone way downhill with no brakes. Our bill was $47 and some change I gave her 60 and she tried not to give me any change back. I didn't give her a $10 tip but she needs more training. First, I wanted to pre-order online for a to go order. There is no selection online to pay cash, so I was unable to place an order and had to go to the restaurant first to place my order. I ordered off the "2 for $25 menu". 6oz Sirloin($5 upcharge), ordered it MW for my Mom and it was MR-MED. Ordered the Blackened Salmon for myself($5 upcharge). You know the typical photos you see advertised for salmon, even on the Applebee's menu, where it's a nice, thick, center-cut piece? Yeah, I didn't get that. My salmon was probably 1/4 inch thick. Yup, they advertise one thing and then are using a much cheaper salmon. On top of that, the salmon was overcooked and dry as can be. My sides were cole slaw and broccoli and they actually placed the cole slaw in the same container as the salmon and broccoli, so cole slaw juice was covering the salmon and broccoli. Who does this? Whose brain isn't quite functioning correctly that they don't know not to place cold food along side of hot food? I sat at the bar and waited for my order, collected my order and drove straight home, about 2 miles, and still everything was cold to barely lukewarm. Their food is disgusting people. Do not waste your money. Only reason I went is because I had a giftcard. I'd rather a giftcard for a root canal. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. The food at this establishment was mediocre to say the least, service was awful with no care to the customers, our waitress was instead crying to coworkers over and outside of work experience, which is unacceptable in a public work place environment like a restaurant. Hardly anyone was in the building during what would be lunch turning to dinner rush, they had reduced hours for short staff issues which is very clear from the moment you walk in, I viewed their health reports through local publications and agree with the reports it shows in the service, if I was wanting dinner I'd find somewhere else to eat I wouldn't recommend this establishment until issues are resolved internally. read more

Saturday night, 11 tables empty yet a 30 minute wait? Either run the place right or close the doors

we actually didn't even eat here we walked in & the smell was atrocious!! i asked for outdoor seating with the hopes of escaping it but they didn't have any. The woman who sat us took us to the loudest spot in the restaurant next to a couple families with rowdy kids. When we asked to be moved, it seemed like a chore. Once at our new table, it has been about 10 or so minutes with no one greeting us. The light above our table was flickering. I truly couldn't get over the smell & with poor service & a restaurant that is unkept, i can't imagine the kitchen looks much better. definitely won't be back & recommending you steer clear as well. read more

I want to start off by making a comment about the other reviews. Although Applebee's is not the greatest place on earth this is America and you were being fed food that you don't grow yourself; on top of that you didn't even cook it and it's not even basic food: it has spices and sauces that are engineered to please you, so if you want to criticize a place that employs people in a local economy that is struggling, I support your right to express your freedom of speech. With that said, here is my review: Meal (****): I was given the highlight entrée card with the showcased meals. I didn't even give myself time to think after I saw the Bourbon Street and shrimp platter. Chicken was Charred and the shrimp was also cooked on a grill. The seasonings were different but pleasing, and the chicken was juicy and not dry. Ambience (***): The crowd was a little thin at lunch especially for a weekday, and a later lunch at that. I was surprised at the amount of people who were there though. It felt strange being in a party invoking environment to hear such serious conversations. I eat here often, and I've never had a bad meal here. I had poor service once. The girl just wasn't paying attention. When the appetizers arrived, she failed to bring any small plates for us to use. When my steak arrived, I asked for A-1 Sauce. She said she would be right back with it. 10 minutes later I got up and got my own A-1. I filed a website complaint with corporate the following day. The local manager then called and I explained what had happened. I received a $25 gift card as compensation for the poor service. My boyfriend and I visited this location for a late-ish weeknight dinner. It may just be my impression but the Applebee's brand of ambiance can sometimes feel overly casual despite apparent efforts to improve food quality (and raise prices). For example, there were a number of uncleared tables surrounding us. They did, however, clean them during our stay. Our server was friendly and anticipated our needs. No issues there. The new menu options made the decision difficult, but our entrées were surprisingly good. My fried fish was hot and crispy as were the fries. The colslaw was alright. His chicken fajita wrap with sweet potato fries really hit the spot. Perhaps another visit will be in order. read more

My wife and I went to Applebees for dinner. I ordered Shrimp Wonton Stir Fry and my wife ordered a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. The Shrimp Wonton Stir Fry, from their Lighter Fare menu, was very good and I would order it again. Plus, it's only 630 calories. :) My wife had a Classic Cheeseburger with a side of sweet potato fries, both were very good but the sweet potato fries would have been better with some sort of dipping sauce. I would normally give this experience a 4 star but our server, Sarah, did such a great job with service that I felt I needed to bump my rating up a little. The WORST service ever!! Took my mother for supper and ordered wings with blue cheese and ranch dressing. My main meal was a full rack of ribs and a loaded baked potato. When our wings came out we did not receive our dressings. After telling the lady that brought them, we told our server. 5 minutes later we had to remind our server. Then, our main meal came out and we still didn't have our dressing. I still hadnt received my first refill by this time either and my glass had been empty for at least 5 minutes. The waiter brought our dressing finally and I complained that my main entree was getting cold due to waiting to eat our appetizer. He took my wings off the bill, but never offered to do anything about the cold food. He only came to our table 4 times the whole time we were there. In fact, never offered a refill to my mother at all until we got the check and he finally noticed her glass was empty. Stay away from this place.
