While this location only rates 2.9 on yelp, Google reviewers have ranked it a solid 4.2. It was the highest rated location visible on navigation and we were over 20 miles away. We passed almost a dozen just to visit this particular one and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! When you were raised loving White Castle double cheeseburgers and move to a place that has no locations within 5 hours of your home... it becomes an obsession to find a good location on a road trip and almost impossible to not stop and eat!!! It's my kryptonite! There is one downside to White Castle cravings - nothing is more disappoint that having a taste LOCKED into your brain since childhood and not have that expectation matched in reality. It's located right next to a nice outdoor seating area featuring picnic tables in a little shelter, overlooking a nearby lake. A fun and unexpected touch to find at a McDonald's. As with many McDonald's these days, you can walk in and order at the displays, grab a number card and sit at your table, where the friendly servers will bring the trays out to you. Fast, efficient, food was hot and as expected. We went with Deluxe Spicy McCrispy sandwiches, fries, and Chicken McNuggets Happy Meals. Good visit.
