I placed an order through the Applebees website for their bone-in wings, and I scheduled a later pickup time with their Carside to Go service. 30 minutes before my pickup time I received a link to click to save time on my pickup. I clicked the link when I was ready to head to the restaurant, and while I was on my way, I received a call from Applebees that they did not have the wings I had ordered. My pickup time was 5:50p.m. and the call came at 5:46p.m. I was extremely frustrated that they waited until I said I was on my way to call. It was a complete waste of my time. Fortunately, my brother suggested that I go to Wingstop. I went in and placed an order at Wingstop and although they were packed and I had not ordered ahead, Wingstop had my order ready in 20 minutes. Wingstop's service was awesome. My recommendation would be to go to Wingstop if you want wings and great service. read more

We had great service and amazing drinks. I got my free appetizer just for checking in, we ordered the wonton chicken tacos and they were just fabulous. The ambiance was nice, it is bigger than the Portage location but the music was low enough that we could have a great conversation without shouting. I am usually a fan but tonight we got high pressure to buy the loaded fajitas. But we went with the 20 for two deal. When we got out check we had a loaded fajita on our ticket, had to wave down the manager to get it taken off. The only reason this is a 3 star is the waiter did keep out drinks filled and pointed out the 20 for two deal. Hopefully next time will be better! read more

Service was awesome today, someone cheerful named Garrett served our table The place was busy around 6:30 pm. We ordered the mix compo. My favorite was the Spanish dipping . My husband liked the BQQ wings. I usually come here and order salad, we tried chicken tender salad it is fresh and tasty. i recommend having ranch sauce for that instead of honey-mastered one . The food was horrendous. Fish fillets was nothing but breading and the fish was hard (my cat wouldn't even eat it). The other meal was supposed to be blackened salmon and I got some super thin over-cooked piece of unknown fish that certainly was not salmon. with all the restaurants to choose from I won't buy from Applebees again. I am not a restaurant chain kind of girl, but believe me when I say Applebee's is my favorite date night spot. My boyfriend and I come here at least once a month. First off, the Yelp check-in deal is the best. Get a free appetizer with the purchase of a drink when you check in. If you pick the right appetizer, it's basically a free meal. We usually order an appetizer, an entree, and a drink on special for each of us, and we never leave spending more than $20. Our favorite appetizers are the Sriracha Shrimp (not too spicy) and the Chicken Wonton Tacos. We sometimes make a meal out of the wonton tacos by ordering them for every option in the "Build Your Sampler." If you're as crazy about an appetizer as we are, save some money and get more of what you love by building your sampler. The Steak Quesadilla is also good but not a lot of bang for your buck. The Salsa Verde Beef Nachos are hefty, but not the greatest tasting thing. My favorite menu item is the BBQ Brisket Tacos. Talk about a flavor experience. I could gladly order these on every visit. We've also tried the All Day Brunch Burger, but it wasn't anything special. Stick with their more unique offerings and you won't be disappointed. Oh, and their fries are the BEST EVER. Sometimes we get drinks, a free appetizer, and a plate of fries and call it dinner. We visit for dinner on the weekends when the tiny lobby is cramped with people, but we've never waited more than 8 minutes for a table. Their estimated wait seems to be more than the actual wait time. Oh, and Applebee's powers that be? Katie is our favorite server in all of Kalamazoo. She was genuinely friendly and invested in the quality of our experience. She delivered everything in perfect time and never forgot a requested item like more water, napkins, or ranch. Went there today and got endless boneless chicken and when i got the second round the chicken was undercooked and still cold, the works were everywhere and never stopped at our table unless we caught them. They said they we couldn't order alcohol because their manger was the bar tender. They cook came out multiple times to hand out food rather than waiters. Oh, sure. I like a nice clean restaurant as well as anybody else does. But, as soon as we finished ordering, my wife and I began hearing a loud, repetitive clanking sound coming from the booths behind me. For the next fifteen minutes we observed a restaurant cleaner/person sweeping dirt from under each booth into her dustpan on a stick. Every stroke of her broom hit that dustpan/bucket causing a loud clank with every stroke. If it was me, I would have used only the broom to sweep the dirt into the aisle. Then I would have swept the dirt cleanly into the dustpan with two or three strokes. But, this person had not, yet learned that technique. We mentioned the annoyance to our waitperson. But, all that did was give her the entertainment of watching my wife and me go crazy trying not to wring the restaurant cleaner person's neck. Yes, we will eat there again. But, we will certainly call ahead to see if the booths have been swept out before we leave home. read more

We come here every couple months, and our service is typically fast, friendly and top-notch. It was very busy tonight, but the service was still great! Last night me and my friend ordered Carside To-Go from Applebee's. We both were extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with our meals, which came out to over $60 since Applebee's decided to charge me for each items that's included on my entree!! I don't understand why or how that cost became to be. We both got a fajita dinner. I got the Trio fajitas and my friend got the Chicken fajitas. For starters, everything was room temperature and NOT HOT AT ALL. Secondly, our food portion sizes were REMARKABLY small. The "grilled veggies" were basically raw vegetables and they used WAY too many onions. There were more raw veggies than rice and chicken! The best part of the meal was the spinach and artichoke dip. However, everything else was a MAJOR FLOP. I expected a lot more from Applebee's, I dont think that I would recommend them after this though. read more

This is the worst Applebee's In the CITY! . Food is never fresh. Meat always taste days old. I got a slab of ribs and omg the were BONE dry. No sauce and dry in the inside. I recently went a couple weeks ago my girlfriend and I both got a "whisky burger" we literally lefts 5 mins after getting our food and she threw up when we got home she said he burger tasted funny.
