Waitress was really nice but the service was slow! We ordered boneless chicken and it took over 35 minutes to get the order.

Bad location. I didn't feel safe inside. Bad service. Even worst customers. In summary, don't go here. Worst Applebee's I've ever been to.

Food was delicious and came out right away. The 3.99 sangria is bomb and well worth the money. Our server was so sweet and our drinks never went empty. Definitely one of the best Applebee's I've been to. read more

The lat time I went here I remembered why I stopped going to this Applebees. We were in a group for lunch, but that doesn't negate the fact it took almost an hour to get a drink (non alcoholic) for the majority of us. It took 2 hours for e to get a bowl of tomato soup and half a BLT; the girl next to me was finished with her entire meal when I got served and she had a dinner. I went in to pick up my takeout order but I needed to add something and there was no problem. The takeout staff was friendly and attentive. While I waited for my add on I said hey I'm going to have a drink while I wait. Well I stood at the bar and waited as I saw the bar lady had to take someone's order. No problem but when she was done she stood hand on hip and chatted with the patrons at the bar as if I was an ornament. I stood there 5 minutes and we made Eye contact the entire time but no service. So I step away from the bar and tell the takeout crew that I was trying to order a drink but she wouldn't acknowledge me. So this bar server walks past me and says ooh I want a steak as she is heading towards the kitchen and finally she says hello to me and I didn't reciprocate so she mumbled something as if she didn't understand why I didn't speak after I had spoken politely to everyone that greeted me. She left a bad taste in my mouth. The food I came home with that I knew was microwaved didn't bother me as much as she did. Several of the staff saw how she ignored me and asked can I get you something to drink water tea soft drink?, no thank you. Yes the place needs to shut down for a good cleaning and yes she is the worst bartender I ever came across at this location. We are now on our 6th glass......the previous 5 glasses were filthy. Caked-on food on the outside and stuff floating in my water. After the 4th glass, I'm not sure I even want another glass from the kitchen. We received our appetizer plates and only 1 didn't have disgusting dried food on it. That pretty much was it for me. Called the manager over and let him know about the dirty dishes and told him we would be leaving. I didn't think I could stomach food from that kitchen. I think they have some very serious sanitary issues that need to be addressed. My son has a life threatening illness and I shudder to think he might be exposed to disease due to their lack of cleanliness. Will not return there EVER again. If I could give zero stars for this restaurant I would. While employees are all huddled up having their personal conversations we waited for 10 minutes just to be seated. Almost everyone that worked there acknowledge that we came through the door right when we came in. Seems like they don't want any business given this is the second time in a week this has happened to us. Was so unhappy my husband ordered food and the portion size they gave us was something I serve at home, when we eat out we expect to get more than we pay for, then our waitress only showed up at our table 3 times. When I ordered churros and my husband ordered an appetizer due to not given a lot of food we waited 10 min for her to bring his appetizer but last min tells me they ran out of churros if she had told us before bringing us the appetizer we wouldn't had got anything extra. I loved this place the 3 times I've been. They remembered us, were so friendly and the food was good. Our last visit there was a bit of a hiccup with our order but it was nothing that upset us yet the manager and waitress both apologized and gave us a discount. We were warned that they have a 21 & older karaoke but it's not until later and I think it's awesome that they found a way to get booming business when many places are struggling. Last Thursday, four members in our group seven that ate at this location ended up with food poisoning--two of which were extremely severe and one that required hospitalization. Worst applebees I have ever seen. after an hour of waiting after I ordered I checked to see what the hold up was, only to be told the meal wasnt even put in the system at all. manager was even worse as instead of fixing the problem she said the employee was just overwhelmed. I pray the manager reads this one. My bill was 53.25. Never in my life have I left exactly what the bill was until tonight. Usually those things sit on my mind not tipping someone simply because I work in the restaurant industry. Tonight was terrible. We ordered soups and apps after it took 15 for someone to get to us then put our entrees in another 15 after and yet everything still came out at the same time an hour later .... on top of that brings the wrong soup for my s/o. Then takes another 15 to get the right soup and the slop ass manager goes "so you didn't like this one" like no sir just tell you're waiter to take her AirPod out so she can hear correctly next time. The waiter was rude and dismissive. They all are frankly. Manager was a baby back bitch. And the food is trash .. which we know but never had it been this bad we just want to go here for something quick to eat last minute. NEVER AGAIN! I knew it was a bad sign when I saw a taxi pull up to the door. Don't get me wrong, every body needs to eat but that big yellow taxi was only the beginning. We were greeted at the door , there were plenty of tables vacant up front near the windows but our server took us to a table in the back near the kitchen The waitress came to the table and had a terrible attitude. We asked about her day and she said ",I woke up this morning, I'm breathing and I am here. I was shocked so I said, Oh that's just the minimum. By the time she finished insisting what my husband could order she asked me what I wanted. I had completely forgotten what I wanted. It was so stressful. I quickly ordered chicken and it came with the honey pepper sauce. I ordered a glass of wine. She wanted to tell me what to drink. I said no and ordered another red wine. . She was angry when she returned with the wine , which was completely flat and old. She kept calling me doll or honey or sweetheart. I am old enough to be her mother. The chicken was processed meat The meal was awful.. She asked if I wanted a take home box because all I ate was the shrimp from the plate. I said yes. Later a different waitress came to the table with the take-home box. She was very polite. A few minutes later the original waitress came to the table with two more take home boxes. Again, with an attitude, she said, I was going to bring these but i was busy ringing up customers at the cash register. I didn't know what was going on at this point. The restroom was dirty, the restaurant was dirty. The carpet on the floor was old and worn and not vacuumed. Trash was on the floor and toilet paper was on the floor in the bathroom. Someone had taken the top off of the soap dispenser in the bathroom and left is lying on the counter. Don't know if that was soap in the dispenser. All in all it was a horrible experience. We had a family party of three (young teen) and was immediately seated in the bar area. The music was so loud it was heard to hear each other. The people were also loud, obviously filled with alcohol drinking singles. Overall service was not great but the server was pleasant. Regarding the food/drink it was not good. The specialty drink was more ice than flavor, the steak was very overcooked and tough, sawing with a steak knife. The mozzarella sticks were soggy and barely warm, fries were greasy with no "potato". Just left after sitting 22 minutes with no server coming to the table. I gave up. Went down the street to Hooters. Server was at my table in less than 30 seconds. Hooters is not my favorite place BUT you do get service in a timely manner. Note to Applebee's: it's not just about the food, it's also about the service which your restaurant obviously doesn't get. It took, to me, five minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence while waiting awkwardly at the hostess stand. Lisa, a server, who was very busy, still had time to greet me, assure me someone would be with me shortly and acknowledged the first touch point in customer service. As a result, I requested to be seated in her section because she knew that first impressions starts at the door and she knew the significance of this. Lisa was very attentive and sincerely asked about how my day was. I explained that I needed to do my homework, but was in need of a beer. Her understanding was irreplaceable and understood the significance of not being interrupted in a routine manner. You can tell who cares about service and Lisa demonstrates the principles of providing exceptional customer service. Thank you, Gerry, for keeping your great employees and giving us the opportunity to have a great Applebee's experience. As we all know, we don't go to a restaurant for the food, but for the service. We had an early dinner at the Hampton VA location. The 2 for $25 deal was a great value. I had the sirloin and my husband had the shrimp and chicken, both with sides. The hostess was friendly and the waitress was attentive. But the atmosphere of the restaurant (albeit during happy hour) was rowdy and loud. The patrons at the bar were arguing over sports and loudly using vulgar language. The manager nor bartender made no effort the quiet them despite several complaints. The dining area was not clean and the table was sticky. This dining experience was subpar and the food was mediocre at best. read more

When our server came out he immediately said that the two tablets would be a problem and that we would be charged twice for games. I told him that was fine. This should be called Crapplebee's..my wife had to ask for a drink 3 times and the guy still only came back with my lemonade and told her he forgot what she ordered. Joel was our waiter and he literally worked slower than two snails having sex. Garbage. He gave me the smallest order of fries I have ever seen then I asked for more since they were bottomless fries and he brought me the wrong thing only after we asked for the check because we had waited 30mins.. and an additional 20 for sauce. To sum this place up in a few words would be absolutely horrible. Where do i begin with the horrible service? My husband and I are new to the area but an applebees is a common restaurant where we are from, so what we expected from a place like this was an average meal with a few beers. However; this place was nothing what we were use to. We entered the place to see it already looked sketchy my husband suggested we go somewhere else but I insisted on just staying, why dont ask me. We waited to be seated for only a few moments and were seated in a nonbusy section to start. The waitress came over greeted us in a normal fashion and brought us over the two beers we ordered. We put in our appetizer before ordering and that came out very quickly which was great because we were starving. We finished the app. and waited approximately 25 mins for our meal to come out. We ordered nothing special and people behind us, which remind you they came after us, got there meal for a table of four. I was starting to grow irratated. The server came back around and got my husband another drink as we still had no explanation of why our food was taking so long. We waited some more and finally our food came, and it was overcooked and we could tell that it was sitting in the window for a long period of time. Our server never came and checked to see how the meal was. Seeing how the food was overcooked and my husband found a hair that looked like it was from someones beard in the meal we quickly were turned off. Finally a manager came over and did apologize for the wait and voided our entrees, he asked if he could do anything else to make the dinner any better, i asked for another beer since mine was never refilled or was asked if i wanted something else to drink, but i never recieved a drink after that. We got our bill and the food was taken off but i was charged for beers that I never even got. In the end i promise you I will never return to that applebees again for their poor service. I had never been to apple bee's before. The food took a little bit of time to come out, but it was good regardless. The waiter got my friend's order wrong, but she was a trainee so I wasn't upset. There were floods happening at the time, and the workers made sure to tell everyone to move their cars which I thought was nice of them. This evening my friend and I ordered two orders of mozzarella sticks but failed to mention we would like to do the 2 for one price deal. So when the receipt came, my friend asked if we could change it to the deal instead of two separate entities. The server explained that since it wasn't "mentioned" he would give it to the manager. The manager comes to the table as if we complained that the food was undercooked and in automatically defense. My friend then explained that we actually wanted to do the deal and is there a way we could just change it. The manager then says because it wasn't "mentioned" that it's not usually considered and but she will fix it. She then takes the remainder of my mozzarella sticks! On the check she just simply removed one order and I guess removing the rest of my food gave her the ultimate satisfaction. We were not trying to get over on anything and simply wanted a "yes" or "no". It seems as the franchise is more worried about making a profit than customer service. angel was so rude and wasted so much of my time! she needs to find another job because she clearly doesnt like this one or customers. she told me itd be a 30 min wait, 50 min go by and i go in to see why its taking so long. she besically says its going to be even longer because there is no seating and tables arent clean... there were only 5 parties in the resturaunt.... and i was number one on the waiting list the whole entire time, no one else was waiting. and literally all the booths looked like they had been cleaned. she was just trying to get rid of me and kept me waiting even longer. then finally someone who actually appreciates their job decided she was going to serve me because angel was bsing w me and wasting my time. amada ended up serving us and was amazing, she was so nice, especially w all the stress she had going on because she has such a lazy coworker who didnt want to serve anyone and sat on her phone. so thank u amada for serving us and being so friendly. angel really needs to be fired because she is probably making this business lose money and she clearly hates her job. give amada a raise or a promotion! she deserves it! read more
