If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely horrible from start to finish. You walk in with a small crowd with about 12-15 empty tables and 15 minutes later you get sat down. Then you wait 7-8 minutes and you get your drinks ordered. 5 minutes later they arrive at the table with hardly no ice in the water. Guess they want you drinking warm water I am not sure. Then 25 minutes goes by and I look around and she is counting tips on one of the tables instead of taking our food order. I left $10 on the table to cover our drinks and we got up and we all walked out. Absolutely ridiculous. If you can't do your job or don't know how to or much more over don't have the training then please either get properly trained or find something else to do with your life. read more

Bad service, the manager is a complete waste of space, the hostess can't properly seat...Our waitress disappeared for 30 minutes after the wrong order was brought to our table. The manager couldn't be found. We had to beg for napkins and a refill of water is not going to happen. If you want a better Applebee's experience you may want to try another location. read more

Worst service I've ever had at an Applebee's and today was absolutely beyond belief. Menu? NOPE you can download an app if you wish to see a menu but ONLY 5 allowed on floor at any time and all are in use. OK I'm not downloading anybody's app to view a menu so I just said hamburger with bacon no onion and fries. - OH could we have a straw for the tea? we came 3 people got only 2 utensils and only 2 straws (wrapped with utensils). 4 requests and still had to request AGAIN for an additional set of utensils for 3rd person and straw. Hamburger arrives without lettuce, tomato, bacon or mayo. Can I get mayo? NO it's already on that table - but I bring you some squeeze tubes of mayo. OK I don't care how it comes - got it now hamburget is cold, fries are cold, and the "lettuce, tomato, bacon oh I'll bring it on the side - ALSO cold bacon. ARE YOU KIDDING???? now wait for ticket - hmmmm where did she go???? finally got ticket but had to go back so we could get the receipt for the theater ticket that's supposed to be given??? NOT GOING BACK TO THIS APPLEBEE"S. I want a menu I can look at, and decide what to eat not an app to scan and MAYBE get to read it. I had to go to the hostess to ask her to bring someone over. Food was good, but never came to check on us again. Waited another 15 minutes for the check and had to get the hostess to get our server. Only because of dontarius I'm giving this 5 stars. He was awesome and he not my server. We had a young lady named Amanda. She wasn't quite there. So we had to ask dontarius for things. Went to Applebee's on Lakeland Drive. Waited over 30 minutes and could not get seated. Hostess pretty much ignored us. Restaurant was not crowded and wait staff did not appear to be overtaxed. We tried to talk with her but she kept turning away and talking to other people. We got frustrated and left. We no longer wanted to eat there. Omg! Me and my husband went on our lunch break and all I can say "Stacy C" YOU ARE THE BOMB!!! If you are ever in the Flowood MS area, please make sure you sit in Stacy's area! She is so kind and she made sure our experience was hands down the best! Food came out in excellent time and she always kept a smile on her face. Normally, service is great. Today, service was awful. My roomate & i came to eat lunch after leaving our serving jobs. Destine served us, she began by saying 'i didn't see y'all back here.' After not being greeted for 10 minutes. Our food was brought out, and nothing was said. She walked away when we began to ask her for something & it seemed like she forgot us, she didn't come back for 20 minutes after the food was brought. Once we finished, we started to look around & we spotted her on her phone by the bar. She finally realized that we were waiting on our check and that was the end of the service. This is not to be rude. Just simply telling what the server needs to work on. You should always keep an eye on your section. And never start with 'I didn't see y'all back here.' Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at an Applebee's. Waited 30 minutes for a table when there was literally only 4 tables and a couple of guys sitting at the bar. After we were seated, 10 minutes went by before we were able to order our drinks. Our drinks didn't come out for another 6-7 minutes. Once we received our drinks we immediately order our appetizers and food. Almost a full 45 minutes later, our appetizers and food all came out at the same time. By this time we were the last ones left in the restaurant and rushing to finish our food after hearing two other waitresses saying " I wish they would get the f*** out ". We decided to take our entrees togo since the staff seemed so annoyed with us and had to wait a full 5 minutes for togo boxes. Once we got our boxes, we tried to pay on the kiosk they have at every table, which ended up charging me twice. Would give 0 stars if I could, terrible, lazy staff and very rude. read more

I get that they were busy however when 2 couples that came in after us had been waited on and received their appetizers and no one had even taken our drink order, I decided it was time to go. My husband and I stopped in for lunch around 11:50. Our order was taken in approximately ten minutes after we arrived. At 12:35 we had not been served our meal while others that came in after us were being served and some had time to finish their meals. The waitress informed us one time that our meal was on the way. It took over ten minutes to get seated even though there was no line. The hostess was very inexperienced. Once seated it was 15 minutes before a waiter showed up. Again, it was not a very crowded restaurant. The waiter said they were understaffed that evening. There were dirty dishes stacked everywhere. I received the worst service ever, I ordered a walk me down and I tell you that was the worst drink ever, the person making the drink wasn't even a bartender I over heard her say, so why put her in a position that she can't work, the appetizer cheeseburger rolls was awesome, ok then my food comes out wrong, order the 4 cheese mac and I got the wrong pasta, then my food go back to the kitchen waited another 30 min to get my food watered down with honey sauce I didn't have all the cheese, my server sucked very bad Ben is his name, I'm tired of typing about this visit, I'll never return this location...
