I came in for my lunch break two days ago and ordered a full crispy chicken caesar salad. The salad was not full at all. Rather, it was what appeared to be a half salad placed on a large plate. I complained to my waiter and she said she would let the manager know. I received my check, the manager never showed, and the waiter never updated me about the situation. Went to this Applebee's on a busy Saturday night. The wait wasn't quite as long as other places in the area, 10-15 minutes, but the actually service was quite slow. We had to wait longer for our food(we ordered a salad and a hamburger) to come than the wait for being seating. I guess they had to kill the cow and grow the lettuce. I was the only person at the door standing 2 feet from them and the continued with their conversation until I had to say to them Hi and Welcome. My fiancée and I went here right after the gym at around 9:30pm for a quick bite to eat. Everyday after 9 they have half priced appetizers. My fiancée got boneless buffalo wings and I got the chicken quesadillas. We traded half way through. Both appetizers tasted amazing. We sat at the bar and the service was very fast and the bartender was nice. I had the strawberry lemonade as a drink and let me tell you, it is the best strawberry lemonade I've ever had. Great food and a really good drink and it was only $13 for everything (my fiancé did get water though). read more

Don't waste your time or money. The only thing they serve here is bad attitude and microwaved food. If you really want Applebee's, go to the grocery store, grab some frozen food items and toss in the microwave; at least you'll get faster service and you can eat it in your underwear. Just went to the Applebee's in Evans, Ga. I asked the bartender if it was happy hour to which he replied "yes". I looked at the beer taps and saw Shock Top, and ordered 2, he said ok and poured them. We then ordered two appetizers and 2 items on the shareables menu. The portions were very small to the extent that when we left I was still hungry. The bill also had the Shock Tops at full price, when I questioned this the bartender told me Shock Top was a premium beer and not part of the happy hour special. You would think he might have mentioned that since I asked initially if it was happy hour. I have learned and will not return. Hope others can learn from my mistakes. read more

Worst Applebee's experience I've ever had. We were seating and had to wait 15 mins until we were seen by the waitress. 10 min later we finally got our drinks and then she disappeared again! Eventually we put in our food order, a burger and the 3 bar appetizer things; honey bbq wings, chips and salsa and chicken wanton tacos. All food we've enjoyed at another Applebee's. The food came out and it was either cold or over cooked. The chips left a terrible after taste, the two small salsas halls crud around the top of the container and the burger taste like it was from McDonald's. This Applebee's is lacking, even though it's in a convenient location in Evans. We have defaulted to this place a few times before/after catching a movie, but I have yet to eat food here that I would describe as anything other than bland. We may have just had bad luck every time we've been, but the service has always been lacking as well. They're slow to take our orders, frequently mess up what we've asked for, and then the waiters frequently disappear. I would highly recommend passing this place by to stop at any number of sit-down restaurants (even chains) within a 2 minute drive. read more

I like this location the food is good the staff is usually polite and competent. The main problem with this location is no food constancy. My friends and family have ordered the same dishes and the dishes would have different or missing ingredients this has happen on more than one occasion. When we spoke to the manager about the problem he informed us that the meals were made correctly and only when physically shown the meals did he back down and agree. Over all still not a bad place to eat just know what your ordering and check your order to make sure it's made correctly, because whoever is suppose to check the orders before they leave the kitchen needs at the very least to be retrained. read more

If i could give this place zero stars i would. I had a horrible experience here a few weeks back. I ordered a burger and specifically asked them to make sure there were no onions they bring me my meal and there are onions. So I asked if they could get me a new one. They bring me another burger. Let me just say I like my burgers to be all the way cooked as in I hate pink in my burgers. I took one bite out of it and this is what I got.. (see picture) it literally fell apart it was so raw, and the middle was still cold I sent it back and asked them to make sure it was done. They come back and the burger is rare. They bring me another one that is medium rare. At this point I haven't eaten anything and my boyfriend and I have a movie to catch. So I asked if I could just take it to go, they bring us the bill and they had charged us for not one, but two burgers! I didn't even get to eat my food, They should have just gave me my meal for free!! I got sick that night from eating a few bites from the first burger. They sent me home with another burger and when I got home from the movie I went to eat it anddddd it was PINK! I am never going to eat here again! I have never left a review for any restaurant, but this was by far my worst experience eating out. This was a major disappointment and reminded me of why I don't go to locales like these in Evans Augusta area. Took my family of 5 Plus son's girlfriend out after work on Friday night. Restaurant was busy, but seated within 20 minutes. I will say that the staff was attentive and my review and rating does not reflect the hostess or the server whom I give above average marks. The one star, which is the lowest rating on this site, is for the food quality and value, specifically. We spent $20 per person. I refrained from ordering an entree and just sampled various things as I wanted to see if my family could order dishes that were consistent and tasty across the menu. We had a combo appetizer. The boneless wings were WAY BELOW AVERAGE! How can you serve that in Georgia? I would compare them to frozen off brand stuff out of a bag from the local grocery. The first one I tried was all batter. No chicken inside! The second one made me wish it had no chicken because it was worse than the first. My wife ordered a chicken caprese dish. She could not eat more than three bites and lost her appetite. She's not a picky eater. My daughter ordered a Bourbon chicken with shrimp. She should have loved this knowing her tastes. She picked at it and apologized to me for not wanting a to go box. My son ordered French onion soup and Pretzel pick 2 combo and didn't finish either. He commented that they looked good, but were not tasty. His girlfriend always smiles and thanks me when I treat her to good food. She had Chix Quesadilla and FOS app combo. She didn't finish or take her leftovers either. This was a major disappointment and I am writing this to burn in my memory bank that in 5-10 years when someone suggests we go to Applebee's in Augusta, I can reply with "No thank you" and point to this experience as the reason. read more

I've dined it at this Applebee's...nothing special. Today I ordered take out - huge mistake! I ordered the 3 cheese chicken cavatappi with buffalo boneless wings...the pasta had almost no cheese on it! I had to add my own cheese to the dried up noodles :/ Very disappointed, the wings weren't any better- just as dry as the noodles. I'll be checking out another Applebees moving forward. read more

I'm normally not a fan of Applebee's, however we thought we would give this one a shot. Ate here this past Sunday, and I have to say this was the cleanest Applebee's I've ever eaten in. The manager even made sure to tell the hostesses and waiters/waitresses to clean the light fixtures, decorations mounted on the walls, and the window sills before they closed for the night. I thought that was amazing. I just wish these girls also cleaned the bathroom, this was hands down the grosest bathroom I've ever been in. One of the toilets was clogged with TP, the floor was very wet and it smelled disgusting. I'm wondering if the toilet overflowed and it spilled all over the floor.....gross. Absolutely disgusting and gross. My husband complained that the trash cans in the men's restroom were overflowing with trash, the place wasn't that busy so it's ridiculous that the trash hadn't been taken out. The terrible state the bathrooms were in are what caused this place to get just three, because the rest of the evening was fantastic. Since there weren't very many people eating at the time we were our food got brought out hot and quick, I'm a sucker for motz sticks and theirs were very good, nice and warm with a gooy center and a crunchy bread coating. Got these bad boys in under 5 min, perfect. For dinner I got a honey peppercorn glazed steak and my husband got the chicken fingers. Both were very good, although as the sauce cooled on my steak it became more and more sweet. Could have used more jalapenos. My husbands honey mustard dipping sauce was served in the smallest container I've ever seen, he had to ask for more. Our main meal took about 20 minutes to get, pretty standard. What can I say, it's Applebee's. I think most of us have outgrown this place. We tried to get a reservation for 10 of us, but you can't. So we got there at 5:30 thinking that we would have plenty of time to walk across the parking lot to see a movie that started at 7:15. We told the hostess when we got there and she said it would take 10-15 minutes to get us a table ready. This means pushing 2 tables together. So we went to the bar and ordered a drink while waiting. 15 minutes later we asked about the table. She gave it to someone else, she thought we left. Apparently she couldn't turn around and look at the bar. Hello people, this is how you make money! A member of our group told her to tell the group that she was about to seat that she messed up and they would need to wait a couple of minutes. That didn't go over well. Apparently she doesn't make mistakes. So, we ended up in the empty dining room on the side and never even got to really look at the menu. Wow, it is now 6:30 and we didn't get our food until 6:59. We ate so fast and asked to pay while we were still eating. So, the food is bad, the hostess was rude and we will be going across the street to Fatz Cafe. So I would normally say that Applebee's is one of my favorite places. But the Applebee's in Evans is giving the brand a bad name. I took my family there today for my daughters 14 birthday. We waited outside over a half hour in a not very busy time of day 3:30 pm. So I go inside there must have been at least six empty booths. So I asked to sit my family of five by the bar, at a table top. So we sat there five minutes and not even a server greeted us. I saw the manager at the bar and asked him where our server was. Then a guy shows up to greet us. By now I was able to place an appetizer order in the table tablet. And asked him if he was aware of that. He said let me check on that and left for another five minutes never taking our drink order. Finally he comes back and asks us if we're ready to order. At this point I was totally disappointed in our service and decided that we needed to leave. We went to Ruby Tuesdays for my daughters 14th birthday. Not sure where the quality control is at but that place needs a remodel. Extremely poor service can't say what the food is never made it that far. read more

This wasn't a good experience at all. We came after church and the waitress wasn't that friendly. I ordered my food which on the menu, it stated Alfredo pasta (meaning the long noodles), when my plate arrived, it arrived with the cellentani noodles. I then informed the waitress that the menu stated Alfredo noodles, she said I know, we are trying to get rid of the old noodles and use the new ones. I then told her I didn't want the dish. She asked why and stated they are all the same. Apparently, she doesn't know much about pasta;/ I'm now like what! I should of been informed this at the time of order that those noodles are no longer being used! I should of also received an updated menu. Then the waiter snatched up the plate and walked off. She then came back and stated the manager will be over to talk to me about the pasta. She was rude unpleasant! I usually have a great experience here, the manager then came, apologized for the ordered, explained about the, told me he would take care of it, gave me the option of another meal. If I could give a zero I would. Planned a movie and dinner night for my husband's birthday. First we (four of us) get in and get our table. While sitting down and waiting for our server my older daughter and I look up and we see a roach crawling up the wall. I try not to panic and not judge too quickly being that I have eaten meals (MRE) in the middle of a field before. As I normally do, I check the silverware, they are all dirty with food still attached to them. A server finally comes over and we express our concerns. He apologizes and says that he will be back with new silverware. Ten minutes later he brings it to us but now we are ready to move because we saw another roach and my youngest daughter freaked out as most toddlers would. We move to another table and the server finally brings us drinks. My husbands beer was served in a dirty glass (someone's lip prints were on it and stuff floating inside). We ask for the manager. The sever says the manager is busy and tells us he will bring us new drinks. Fifteen minutes go by and the manager still hasn't approached us. I get up and go find a manger myself. The server never told the manager of our complaints. We inform the manger of all the issues. She apologizes, explains that the establishment was recently fumigated and maybe that is why we saw the bugs and says that we could receive a free dessert. WHAT? In my opinion the entire table's meals should be free but we didn't stick around to find out. We left and the night was saved by Chili's in Evans. This was beyond a doubt the worst restaurant and customer service I have ever experienced in my life and I have eaten all over the world. I haven't been back and never will.
