I've enjoyed many AppleBee's before, this place is an absolute disaster. We did carside pickup and waited 25 minutes after our order was supposed to be ready. Upon walking in we found out the order had been ready but the employees had just been sitting around on their phones without noticing we had even pulled up. Both employees were complaining loud enough for the restaurant to hear. Will not be back to this particular Applebee's read more

I've been coming here for a few years and the service has always been poor and slow. No more: they've had a remodel and the service was almost too fast! Keep it up AB Conway- read more

totally disappointed in the service tonight. they were out of a lot of things. The drinks did not taste right. Some food did not taste fresh. The bathroom was not clean read more

Awful experience. Waitress was extremely rude, with service being extremely slow. They decided to bring a 4 year old child an extremely hot plate, with her chicken tenders being cold. Ordered a burger and asked for it to be well done, burger was road, with the steak we ordered being over cooked. Worst experience ever. read more

Horrible!!!! Just ordered fish and chips, fish not cooked all they way through, fries were cold.. Will never eat there again!!!! And this was their "take-out" THUMBS DOWN!!! read more

This place needs to just go ahead and close...the service is less than desirable and the food is pure trash. Chicken tenders were old and refried. Asked for crisp fries and got barely cooked. Food was thrown together and barely warm. Burger was served as well well when medium was ordered. Pasta literally looked like barely buttered noodles and tasted like oiled noodles. Not a single time have we gone and any of the food been good. Absolute trash. read more

Terrible food and service. Late lunch that took forever. Both orders were incorrect. Then check was incorrect with extra charges on it. No one ever apologized for all the errors or offer any compensation. Our waitress was a basic no show for us. Won't return to this location read more

They used to be good about 20 years ago but now you might have to go shopping at Food Lion and get your frozen entrée and microwave it. Qualities about the same. I feel bad for the people that work there. It's a run down establishment that used to be very nice in the 90s. read more

6:00 on a Sunday night, not packed but not empty either. We were seated immediately but then weren't acknowledged by a soul until we got up and left after 10 minutes. Maybe next time... read more

Came in for a light lunch while on vacation. I was excited to see that they still offer the Butter Pecan Blondie - the last time I was at an Applebee's in NYC, that location had discontinued it and I was very excited to see it available here. So I decided to order the appetizer sampler as my meal so I could save room for dessert. The sampler was nice, not great, but nice overall. It was a good choice for that purpose. Then I order the Blondie. To my extreme disappointment, they were out of the Blondie brownies. The waitress was very eager to find another option that could take the place of the Blondie. So. Epically. Disappointed. The Blondie gods have cursed me to never enjoy their delightful goodness ever again. #imgoingtoDairyQueen read more

I am NOT a big fan of Applebee's but I let my husband talking me into having a late lunch at the Leland NC location last night, 7/30/22. BIG MISTAKE! We got there around 3:45 and the restaurant have a handful of customers, which is what I expected at that time of day so service should be fairly quick. We ordered the steak special that included a dozen shrimp for an extra $1.00. I ordered my steak medium rare with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli and my husband's medium with fries and broccoli and both of us both shrimp. We waited 20-30 minutes for our meal to be brought to us. When the waitress did bring it she had mixed up our orders. We had to ask for cocktail sauce that should have come automatically with the shrimp. I cut into my steak and it was well done and my husband's was medium well. My broccoli and mashed potatoes were cold and the potatoes were like glue from sitting in a steamer all afternoon. I strongly suspect our food had been sitting for a while before it was brought to us because of the food temperature, even the steaks weren't hot. The waitress NEVER came to check on us until we were done. I'm picky about my hot food being hot and normally I would have complained to the manager but I didn't want to sit and wait on my food to be recooked/heated. This is not the 1st time I've been less than satisfied with a meal at Applebees but it will be the last. read more

Worst food i have had in a while i ordered bourbon street chicken and it was salty and mashed potatoes were cold and stiff. My wife got fajitas and the rice was sticky and not good again salty. Kids got breadsticks with cheese sauce and sauce was gritty. We had long island ice tea and bartenders ughhh. Overall bad experience not the server not his fault but if it wasnt for the gift cards would have took everything off. They need new cooks or need retraining if they had any at all bc i couldnt tell. Maybe a simple burger would be ok read more

Haven't been in a while. They have changed management it looks like and that was a great idea! The food was great and the staff has got better as well. I would recommend trying again if you have quit going from all the previous managers issues. Very nice improvement! read more

We had the 2 for $20.00 meal. The salad had too much Cesar salad dressing and a 1/2 of a cup of cheese on top of it. The hamburger just tasted gamey and not very good. I never saw a manager in the whole store and no one asked us if everything was okay. Just an overall bad experience. They also allow smoking at the bar and we are non-smokers which also ruin it. read more

Went there to eat tonight and after getting our drinks the waitress never came back. Sat there over twenty minutes and left. Horrible service and the floors were filthy on our side. read more

Always good here. Friendly staff, great food! We eat here once a month at least and never had a bad meal

As soon as I walked in, the host Richard made us feel as if my party of 6 was an inconvenience. At the time of arrival, the restaurant was only half full. He tried to seat us somewhere where the table looked like it had two plates of food underneath and we asked for it to be cleaned up. Tables were stacked up with dirty plates from previous parties that had co e and gone and this plates stayed there the reminder of our visit. My drink was served in a chipped glass and the food was served not even close to being at the same time. Michelle, the on duty manager was notified and took my complaint what seemed like seriously, but it still seemed as if nothing were done about it initially, but at our exit she did present us with a next visit discount and her apologies. Our waitress Sheila is the only reason why the stars are what they are. read more

Emily A was our waitress she did a great job went beyond her duties, she was friendly and food was great and dessert was delicious. I can't wait to come back. Thank you guys for great evening read more

So I will start by saying I am not a regular patron of Applebee's, however the ones I have eaten at are clean and have hot food. I stopped in here on the way home from the beach without checking the reviews, that was a mistake. The hostess was incredible, too bad she wasn't in charge. After waiting over 10 min after being sat, my wife asked the hostess if she could send our server over. Turns out our server had not arrived at work yet, I mean it was only 11:45. The hostess acutely came and took our drink order and another server took our food order. So now all is well, wrong... Our server showed up and took over, not only was he late for work, he was filthy, dirty shirt, dirty hands and loud. Our food arrived including 3 kids meals and was served room temperature, big pet peeve of mine and although not served hot it was good. I didn't see first hand but my children and wife said the bathrooms as not clean and need of repair. I asked to speak to a manager, I don't usually do this but this was pretty bad, managed never came by to see me. Once again I have to say the hostess was incredible, I regret not getting her name. read more

We had a gift card we had to use up or we wouldn't have gone there. The greeter insisted we put an app on my phone so they don't have to give us a menu....except I don't have a smart phone...she kept insisting. Got a paper menu eventually. Social distancing not working. We were less than a foot from the diners below us. Burgers were hard, dry and I got half of what my husband wanted on his and he got half of my toppings. Waited for server to bring check. She was sitting at the bar chatting with a gentleman. We finally got his attention and she came back to us and explained that he was a regular and they were catching up. The place was so dusty and dirty. The path to the bathrooms a mess. We didn't like Applebee's in Illinois and we don't like it here either. Never ever ever ever going back to another one! read more

So Applebee's always has great food with good atmospheres, but last night this one in Conway was horrible. It was terribly cold and when I looked up to see if I was sitting under a vent, I see many of the vents with dust on them along with several tiles that appeared to have water damage. My server was slow as hell. Then another server assisted her and forgot about my to-go tray. Had to get that from the hostess. This was by far my worst experience ever at this establishment and I have been here many time since it opened. It took me 10 minutes to unthae after leaving. read more

Immediately know I won't return because of the disgusting ability for people to smoke in your restaurant. Being in the industry myself that is the opposite of hospitality. That being said my steak was disgusting and the green beans were equally unimpressive. The only saving grace was your nice server and a decent mojito. read more

Everytime I go to this location it's slow service even when it's not busy and my food is never correct today I got something easy 4cheese mac and cheese and a sandwich off their lunch menu. Welp had the large portion of the mac a few times bc no way they can screw that up but guess what they did there was no cheese on my noodles and a few crumbles of bacon on top and some jalepeno stuff on the noodles. It took me a while to get my food so I didn't even bother management plus like I said everytime I try to give it another go I'm always speaking to a manager. I've worked at apple bees in Fayetteville and was a loyal customer to the apple bees in north myrtle beach never had a problem with food nor service. So I'd say eat at your own risk here read more

We ordered food for pick up last week. My husband's rib order was great! I ordered 2 appetizers of chicken wanton tacos and chicken tortilla soup and my husband ordered 1 appetizer of hot bone in chicken wings. When he got home with the food we did not get the chicken wontons and the soup had the tortilla strips mixed in the soup and it was mushy and nasty. I called them up and they gave us 3 free appetizers for our next trip which was today. We did take out again. Everything was good except I ordered french onion soup and the Swiss cheese was not cooked. They just threw it on top...We won't be visiting this location again!!! read more

Nasty! Bartender bitched about how bad he hates his job. Manager Rick, berated an older waitress so everyone could hear on the floor. Restrooms are disgusting, better luck stopping at a c store. read more

I rarely give 1 star... but frankly this deserved it 100% we were on the way home from the beach and decided to stop here for supper. The first problem we had was our hostess decided to speak to my husband as if I wasn't sitting right there. Which in my world is very disrespectful.. second our food came out way over down. And we ran out of drink during appetizers and never got a refill also had to beg for utensils.. over all... we know we will not be back to this Applebee's! read more

Came here tonight with family. First waitress brought over drinks and put straws in them with her bare hands. All silverware were dirty. I ordered nachos verde, they were very dry and barely anything on them. Would mot reccomend this restaurant to anyone. Not worth the money or your time. read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - Verde nachos - American Near Me - Conway, South Carolina

The food was ok but the restaurant smelled like an ashtray. Their smoking area is a bar right in the middle and the non smoking area wraps all around the bar. No dividers or anything. Young lady sitting around the bar, drunk, talking about how she just got out of rehab and fighting with some guy on her cell phone loud enough for us to hear. This was at around noon. I left with my hair smelling like cigarette smoke. The one in Myrtle Beach is completely non smoking. I will never go back to this Applebees. read more

Ed was an awesome server. the food was amazing!!! he had amazing customer service and i really enjoyed my time here.

Food looked nothing like it did on the menu. Got a steak and it was the size of a candy bar.

went in the restaurant may 29 around 1040 they close at 11pm and was told the kitchen closes at 1030. i think they should change there hours of operation on line because that is false advertising. you could tell that the server did not want anymore tabels and blamed it on the kitchen. i would fire that serrver. to many people need jobs for a business to deal with that behavior . she made the hostess look bad. what she didnt know is i would have tip her $20.00 and been out by 11 read more

Applebee's has kind employees and are very humorous, this place is great! I definitely recommend! Also...their food is heaven!

Wow Applebee's! Holy mackerel this place is like heaven on earth. I found a snail shell in my salad and thought "wow that's a friggin snail shell!!" and then I crunched on it. Like this. Monch monch monch. That's a me munchin. There was a hair on my burger but it added so much to the flavor I didn't even mind. it was a black curly. May have been from the African American staff member. I went to high five him and he said a curse word. Thanks Applebee's, will be back tomorrow. America runs on Applebee's. read more

Our third time of giving them one more try. We walked in, eventually was seated by a hostess that didn't acknowledge us. Then we waited, and waited, and waited to not just order, but to be acknowledged by the stream of wait staff that walked by us. After 10 minutes, we walked out, and my wife informed the three couples waiting to be seated about our experience, and all three left with us. I am through with AppleBees in Conway for good, this time. read more

Service was horrible!! Granted our party of 5 was seated soon after another party of 5; however, a third party of 5 was seated after us and they were served food before us! Asked three times for water refills!!! Good thing we didn't pay extra for tea or soft drinks ! I understand the kitchen gets blamed lots of times, but when you see other servers delivering food to other tables.....the kitchen is not the problem! Where is management? They are walking around trying to deliver our food to other tables! Whatever!!! Only after a lady behind us refused her food because everyone at her table was eating did management decide they need to help the servers! Yes they slightly reduced our bill...I woulda rather have paid full price with better service! I understand now why many Applebee's are closing! read more

Dirtiest applebees we ever went to. Been there twice. First night, our table of five had a waitress that was obviously unhappy working there. Second time, my husband and I went in the afternoon, it was quiet. We were seated and left after 30 mins when no one came to take our orders or offer drinks. Overall, other Applebees are great. Just not the Conway location. read more

I went into Applebee's in Conway on July 21, 2018. I ordered take out for my Mother & I. After getting home and starting to eat dinner I saw the most disgusting thing ever!!! I had a DEAD FLY in my dinner (Classic Shrimp Alfredo).Thank goodness I look at my food before every bite. I was really disturbed by this. Of course I made a call to DHEC and corporate. Screw the coupons that was mailed out because that's not good enough....Don't eat here!!! read more
