TLDR: poor management, short staffed-no hostess, not enough servers/cooks, rude service from the manager, do not honor reservations No hostess to greet. Came in behind a party of ten. Then two parties of nine came in after us. All were seated before our party that RESERVED SPACE MONTHS AGO. Horrible place to go. Reserved their banquet room WAY back in October. We arrived on time to find it full. No problem, we're easy going, they said they would be leaving soon so we waited. OVER AN HOUR later, they finally let us go into the room, acting like it was a total inconvenience that we were there, even though we reserved months ago. We were told there was no longer a conference table setup allowed, which would have been nice to know at any point before our meeting so that other arrangements could be made. Inconvenient, but not a huge deal by itself. Ten minutes before the time we were ORIGINALLY scheduled to leave the room, they started coming in to tell us we needed to leave. When they gave us the room over an HOUR late. At the actual time we were ORIGINALLY scheduled to be out, the manager came in and forcefully insisted we leave-while people were clearly up and putting on their coats. We had over an hour cut off our reserved time from October, and yet when someone else showed up (without a reservation), we had to leave because they didn't have anywhere else to put them. Service was incredibly slow (waitress was training and was very nice-no fault to her), some of the food was cold, all of it was overcooked. Under new management, per the waitstaff. And not good management, as many of their long-term and best waitresses have quit. We have been using the room for our meetings for the last several years, have always tipped well and been very respectful of the waitstaff and their time and clean up after ourselves. Tonite was the WORST meal I have ever had. They were out of fries, mushrooms & Broccoli, Sunday nite at 6:00pm. The coleslaw tasted like they had washed the cabbage in dishwater, mashed potatoes came out with a crust on them and the pasta dish had a terrible taste to it. The typical bait and switch, I ordered one of their new bowls, based on their pictures and description it looked and sounded good. Something that would make a great meal after dialysis. Had the worst experience for dinner last night. The food took over an hour (not the dashers fault) due to the restaurant giving our our order to the wrong person so they had to remake. Ordered the four cheese macaroni with HP chicken tenders and the majority of the pasta had no sauce, just plain noodles with a little bit of sauce on one side but had no flavor. The tenders also had lacked sauce other than a little spot on each tender. The chicken quesadilla was bland and not cooked (not even a hint of golden brown except for the edge of one of the pieces). So just went to order from here and don't normally consider rating any business this poorly yet this must be shared. Was planning on ordering a simple cheeseburger and went into their menu on DoorDash. Once in the menu there are no beef cheeseburgers to be found the only thing resembling a cheeseburger is a "plant based" chemically engineered abomination called an Impossible burger. I really don't care that some people choose to ingest this garbage but this is Wyoming and a simple beef burger should absolutely be on the menu if you are going to offer plant based "alternatives "! read more

Service has been pretty good, however, the food was okay. Nothing I'd write home about. I ordered the baby back ribs, which were advertised as "fall off the bone". Needless to say, I would not suggest ordering this item later in the evening (8:30ish). The ribs tasted okay, however, they seem to sauce the top of the ribs when ordered, warm them up, then re-present them. The bottom of the ribs had NO fresh sauce, and I had to ask for an additional cup of sauce to make sure they were moist to the taste. All in all, it was an okay spot to visit. read more

Not too shabby, I don't usually frequent applebees and the last time I was in a Wyoming applebees in Casper, it was just like a trip into the twilight zone. Maybe I didn't get stared at because it was Halloween and there was a completely green makeup'd lady sitting at the bar. I was really disappointed in their choice of tap beers but could manage. The menu has changed so much since high school and it's gotten more expensive. I got a steak with potato and green beans and house salad. The house salad was the best of all three. It was quite large and pretty fresh. However, there was no horseradish for the steak. Service was good and the underage server was certainly nice and helpful. I was amazed at the level of service from this place, usually chain restaurants do not go out of their way to satisfy their customers, but this place sure showed me that this was the case here. We were quickly seated and before we could even look at our menus the waitress was already able to take our order,we ordered and it didnt seem like even 10 minutes passed and our food was already on the table. We are here right now and have waited 15 minutes for a drink. They also brought knives to the table that look like someone chewed on them. We ordered buffalo wings and they brought BBQ wings to us. Avoid this if you want quick, good service. This is NOT your typical quick service Applebees. UPDATE: The manager happened to help our server bring out our food. I showed him the above review and he stated that the drinks weren't our servers fault. I am not the type to care whose fault it is in a work environment; everyone is part of a team. I told him that and he asked what he could do. I said bring me another drink that I don't actually have to wait for, and the correct wings. He took over care of our table and brought us the requested items in a timely manner. I did not ask for a discount or comp and honestly after so many hours in the car I just wanted my drink. Anyhow when we got our ticket I noticed he had comped our meal considerably without request. When she finally came she told us they had to bus some tables. 5 more mins went by and she came back to tell us our server had a busy night and is taking a break for a while. My father took us out to eat here this afternoon. He ordered ribs, I ordered the Bourbon Chicken, and my mother ordered Buffalo wings. My mother is the only one who enjoyed her food. The ribs were over cooked, dry, and barely had any meat. My chicken and potatoes had an odd taste (not the seasoning) like it was old, or freezer burned. I can not recommend this place for food. After driving for hours today we decided to pickup food from Applebee's in Cheyenne on our way home which is another 45 minute drive. They have a pickup area where food is supposedly brought out. Nope, not tonight. My husband had to pick it up and after explaining that we'd been sitting outside waiting for our order was informed they didn't know we were there even though they showed him a camera pointing at our vehicle showing the details entered with the order. After we finally got home 45 minutes later with our food, which of course was cold, I called them to confer with the manager about the problem we had experienced. The person who answered the phone, Lisa, informed me she was the manager and after explaining what had happened tried to pin the blame on everyone else who worked there. It wasn't her shift and on and on. I informed her I was not looking for an argument rather was passing on what had happened for her to take care of the situation so it didn't happen again. Her response was she was not arguing blah blah blah blah for which I responded, I would be writing on Yelp (basically because she provided no customer care) then after some biting responses I then informed her I would be calling Head Office as well. I thought I had hung up while I was letting my animals out for a run and realized when I went to put my phone away that she was still there grumbling away on the other end, I have no idea what she'd been saying and was surprised to find her still there. If Lisa is a manager then I'm a monkeys Uncle. I'm surprised she still has any staff at all or any clients for that matter. Apparently Lisa the Manager has no idea how she gets paid or why she's there. I gave two stars for the food as it was tasty and well cooked, thank you for that.
