The experienced bartender spent her night playing with her friends and left the new girl holding the fort. the friends were overly loud and disruptive knowing that the bulk of the place was there to play trivia. It wouldn't be so bad if they were just patrons, but they were there to hang out with the experienced bartender. Unprofessional. read more

Tuskers is my go-to bar in Cheyenne. It helps that it is on my side of town, but it is a great place to go on its own merits. Tuskers is a long skinny bar with two levels of seating and a bigger rec. room in the back offering pool and shuffleboard. Though not a sports bar per se, they have a number of TV's on two cable feeds, so if there is a game on, there's a good chance you will be able to see it. Tuskers also has a TouchTunes jukebox, which, though pricey, offers a ton of selections. (They turn the jukebox off for Sunday football.) Tuskers also has two outdoor patio areas. Both border on parking areas and are dominated by concrete; however, they have umbrellas for shade, and some of the staff go to extra lengths to keep a number of large planters full of blooming flowers in season. For me, the staff (and patrons) are a big selling point. Servers and bartenders are friendly and conversational if it's not too busy. Beers are cold, and the restrooms are always super clean! As far as microbrews go, there is a decent number of bottled offerings always available. Tuskers is also known for Friday theme nights, usually happening about once a month. Lastly, they almost always have fresh popcorn, and they sell personal pizzas and nachos. Customers may also bring in their own food, say from Taco Johns across the street or barbecue sold by a private vendor in the parking lot during the summer. read more

Horrible thats is all. Used to be good. Had great bartenders. But the owner is a huge was of space....thinks it the best bar....so he fires all the good tenders and keeps the shit ones. The bar area is kind of cramped especially when it gets busy, and it makes moving around/going to the restroom a real pain. Nothing really against the place, but I've never felt comfortable when I've gone here. read more

I was here on vacation and stopped by on a whim since it said " large selection of whiskeys". I Mi came in late afternoon on Sunday Labor Day weekend. There were not many people but as I tried the selection of whiskeys I watched people come and go, playing pool, watching college football, playing pinball, and enjoying conversation. Nicole was the bartender who helped me choose my whiskeys and the popcorn which was popped today. I only gave it 4 stars because I did not order food or use other services. Otherwise it was a great stop and prices for whiskey were very reasonable ! Nicole was friendly and informative about the local area ! read more
