Applebee's was decent. Something that will definitely hit the spot when hungry but you willl not be satisfied if that makes sense. Kid always enjoys her corn dog and as for me her company. Amy was our server she was attentive and sweet. Knew the menu well. Food didn't take long to come out as we went on a Wednesday after school. Perfect, not so crowded. Ordered the street steak with mushrooms and onions. It was okay, an 4/10. And kid the corn dog with broccoli and applesauce. read more

This evening, my roommates and I decided to go out for a nice dinner at Applebee's as a final hoorah for the end of the year. We arrived hoping for a joyful evening of conversation and enjoying the half-price appetizers. The host was very kind and welcoming when seating us. I unfortunately do not remember his name, but he was working around 10:30 p.m. and did a great job. After being seated, we waited much longer than expected for our waitress, especially considering she only appeared to be serving us and one or two other tables. During that time, we did not see her come out from the back area at all. When she finally approached us after approximately 15-20 minutes, she quickly took our order without greeting us and then left. About 10-15 minutes later, our food arrived. For that wait time, it was reasonable, and I would like to compliment the cooks because the food was very good and enjoyable. However, after bringing us the food, the waitress left again. She did not check on us throughout the meal and only spoke to us briefly once. She did not seem attentive or interested in providing good service. At the end of the meal, after we had enjoyed the food prepared well by the kitchen staff and appreciated the kindness of the host, the waitress brought us the check. When I reached to hand her my card, she said, "Please look it over first in case I messed up." While I appreciate the honesty, it was concerning that she expected an error. Unfortunately, there was a mistake. She also charged full price for my wonton tacos, even though every Applebee's promotion I have seen lists them as part of the half-price appetizer menu. The final issue was that she asked whether I had signed the receipt and tried to collect it while we were still seated at the table. I found that disrespectful, as I have never had a server ask for the receipt before I was ready to leave. Overall, the visit was enjoyable because of the food and the excellent host. However, the service from the waitress was very disappointing. We believe her name was Livy, though the receipt listed Jaylah C. Regardless of the name, her level of service was unacceptable and did not reflect well on the restaurant experience. read more

I used the web portal to place the order to go. I arrived early so I went inside and sat at the bar while I waited. I appreciate that 3-4 different people stopped to ask me if I was being helped. You would have thought after the first two people the communication would have spread but they were busy. I looked around and it could have used a little more attention to cleaning detail but I love the ambiance of Applebee's so let's just say it has a lived in feel. read more

Food was absolutely awful and I don't say that lightly. Applebees has really gone down hill with their food. McDonalds would have been a better meal. Waste of $40. read more

Awful service!!!! Sat there for 30 mins and didn't even get waited once! Waiter walked past us 3 times! Trash!!!

Food is almost always a miss. No customers are here most of the time for a reason. Overpriced and a waste of money

I always have a nice experience when I come here, I like the affordable drinks, the pretzels and beer cheese are delicious, and the meals are delicious. It's shockingly expensive for an Applebee's but other than that it's a good place to go for a solid meal. read more

If I could give a 0 I would, 3 pieces of hair found in 3 different items. That were in no way ours. 1 in an Alfredo, 1 in a drink, and one in a burger. That's unacceptable. Then the manager told us we were wrong. They gave us a small discount.. will never be going back there again read more

I can appreciate restaurants that follow health rules and restrictions to a tee but tonight was ridiculous. I walked in at 8:30 and was told there was a 30 wait. Why? I have no idea. There were maybe 6 tables in the whole restaurant that were full. There was an entire section that was roped off, and the bar had so many "do not sit here" signs on it it looked like a crime scene. What gives? The state allows 50% capacity right now. There's no way 6 tables in the whole place constitutes 50%. I get we need to follow the rules but cmon. This is ridiculous. read more

So, all you can eat shrimp, cocktail sauce is the normal sauce of choice for this type of dish......this Applebees does not have any, they ran out. I say " Meier a is right next door, go buy some". We can't do that is their answer. On well, shrimp, no cocktail sauce it is Overall C- read more

The service by Emily was wonderful, but the food was horrible. The rublets were mostly gristle and must have been left over from last month. If I had tried to take more than one drink of my Lemon Drop, I would have needed an ambulance! NEVER will I return to this place. Honestly, I wish I could have left ZERO stars. read more

so I'm here at Applebee's. My food is ICE COLD. I asked for a manager. Dude didn't come until I had to freaking yell after waiting for 15 minutes- he was at the bar CHATTING and had the audacity to get nasty with me and said "well if you're going to be nasty"! Are you freaking kidding me?! Applebee's Grill + Bar I told him the issue with my order and he said he told the server to fix it. Nobody told me anything. Why I just saw him go in the kitchen to talk to them? Smh. I come here quite frequently with friends and relatives. I've never had an issue until today. I'm not sure who this manager is, but I have been severely disrespected as a patron. read more

Parking lot full of craters which is a huge liability on the owners and Terrible service.

Service was slow. Food was not good. Broccolli drowned in butter and over cooked. Interesting that this Applebee's has blocked a large amount of black music from the touch tunes Jukebox. Not appropriately staffed and had to wait 20 minutes for a table in a half empty restaurant. read more

The service exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The large TV right in front of our booth allowed my husband to dine and watch the basketball game. Our waitress Janasia was amazing......she went above and beyond her call of duty to ensure we enjoyed our meal. The manager Tonita checked on everyone to ensure they were having a pleasurable experience. I give 5 stars across the board for an awesome job! read more

Applebees is not usually the first place on my list when we're thinking of dining out. However, my sister is the biggest Applebee's lover ever and when it came to the decision of her birthday dinner, we all knew Applebee's would be the spot. We came on a Sunday night around 5pm and had a party of 10 (most adults, a few kids) and our waitress was a pro. She treated us the same as if it was just a party of two and didn't forget about any of our requests or mess any of our orders up. Perfecto! My sister has a disability and can get a little loud sometimes. A few other diners gave us a few rude glances but the Applebee's manager and staff were nothing but friendly and polite. Our party got a little out of hand when it came to my sister opening her gifts (every gift required a loud scream) but they were very understanding and compassionate. This kind of service is 5* and not something that I've always experienced when dining out with her. The food was okay but I didn't really care for the honey pepper chicken. It wasn't flavorful enough in my opinion, even though the honey pepper shrimp that it came with were divine. I love their mucho drinks usually, but I stuck with water on this particular occasion. Applebee's is a decent choice for a quick and casual meal with fantastic service. read more

Extremely high calorie food that you get at a few bucks more than it really should be, but the 2 for 20 is as good of a deal as you can get for a place like that, honestly. Still approximately ten times better than TGI Friday's at the end of the day, but anything that involves macaroni or pasta here is going to be very chewy and very bland - most everything else is fine. Though hey you get free chips and salsa if you sit at the bar, which is always a plus in my book. Though one time a waitress straight up lied to a friend about putting extra bacon on his burger (there was none) and still charged for it. It's... fine. Dessert was pretty bomb though. read more

Applebees is a restaurant that tries to be too many things and doesn't stand out at any of them. The food is good, but nothing that unique or exciting on the menu, Lots of televisions In The place, but it's not A sports bar or at least not a good sports bar As a bar yes you can get drinks there, But have you heard any one say, that they'd rather go to Applebees for drinks rather than another? The music playing was not what you usually have in a restaurant, a bit more pop/dance/urban, but it's not a night club or dance club. But it is predictable, and a good value If you want food or drink Clean and pleasant staff here Good location and parking. read more

It's been awhile since we have been to Applebee's in Bradley, IL. and we'll probably never go back. While the food was good, the service was poor at best. Our waitress took our order and we didn't see her for 45 minutes. The rest of the staff were busy arguing over who would participate in the birthday celebration. The bartender made the comment more than once "oh are you trying to be a manager now". Even if the food was good, poor service and bad attitudes of the staff will keep me from ever darkening the door of Applebee's in Bradley, IL. again. John read more

Came here for a good dinner and it ended up not being that. Between hearing the gossip about other patrons to the staff having to take breaks because they were tired the service was terrible. Rebecca my waitress wasn't around and I was helped since they couldn't find her anywhere in the restaurant. She finally showed up and took my order and then disappeared for at least 20 min. Finally got my food and she disappeared so I couldn't get a refill on my drink. She finally showed up walked past me twice looking at my empty glass and I had to call her so I could get my one refill for the time there. Yeah won't be wasting my time or money here ever again cause if I wanted terrible service I would have gone to McDonald's next door. Also what is with the sweet tea always being served hot in the north, sweet tea is always best served cold not freaking lukewarm. read more

First and foremost it's Father's Day. Clearly they didn't schedule the right amount of servers. Service was not good. Waitress wasn't rude but drinks were always empty. When we did get a refill the waitress stuck her finger in my wife's glass and left it for her to drink... our first round of drinks didn't even come to the table until after the appetizer was served. We had a stack of dirty dishes sitting in the table for about 15 minutes while multiple servers walked by without clearing it away. Food tastes fine but the service was just terrible. Even the manager walked by our table and looked at the stack of dishes and kept walking. She also saw we had no drinks and did nothing about it. read more

The quality, taste, & freshness of each meal has been excellent. Applebee's is a simple decision over comparable restaurants. Especially pleased with the variety of options from the "2 for $20 Menu." However, dissatisfied with the recent "Half-Off Any-Tizers" policy change. Ordering half-off apps is now required when dining in only, thus removing the option for Pick-Up. This is an inconvenience, especially during late night hours. read more

A HUGE thank you to our server, Kaylie, for the outstanding service! She was so sweet and personable! We had my two year old niece with us for Mother's Day, and she was so great to her! She made sure she had things to keep her busy, knowing how hard it is to take a little one out to eat. Not only that, she always made sure we had what we needed and that our food and drinks were what we expected. She was so great! Will definitely be back as long as she's there! read more

I never have anything but problems with this applebees locations. The last time I ordered the four cheese Mac, there was no cheese sauce on it, just plain noodles, not even the right kind of noodles they normally use for that dish, and a few puny pieces of chicken. Last week I ordered two burgers in the morning to be picked up later that night; one was fine and the other way overdone. Had to wait almost 25 minutes for my order after scheduled pickup time. Tonight I ordered a quesadilla burger again and this time it was not made on the right type of bread, and was very soggy and gross to eat. I tried calling but since they were about to close they of course did not answer. This location is the worst. Definitely done giving this spot chances! read more

Different foods were delivered later and food was bumped off order while other orders were taken waited for an hour bad service!

I run really hot and cold with our Applebee's. When the service is good it's a star and a half higher. But when the service is bad: wow. The food has consistency problems too, including forgotten and missed orders when the servers are subpar. So it's a hit or miss place and we therefore hit and miss going there. read more
