Waitresses were very nice and service was quick, but I was a little bit disappointed in the food. While they give you a hefty portion of pickle chips, the breading to pickle ratio is off. The pickle chips have a hole in the middle where breading collects making the breading dominate the bite. I really came for the wings and they were just okay. I got hot and lemon pepper. The hot were not hot enough for me despite being high on their spice scale. The lemon pepper wings were a bit overcooked although the flavor was good. They have a deal on wednesdays for $.99 wings and if you really want to try them, I recommend going then. read more

I love Beef O' Brady's! They are harder to come by in the Midwest but I found one here in Illinois. They even had fresh-brewed sweet tea! Just some extra commentary here but I believe the Midwest would like sweet tea more if they had it fresh-brewed and not from a bottle or dispenser. I went with my favorite entree from Beef O' Bradys....traditional wings. My flavors this evening were Honey BBQ and Jamaican Jerk. The Honey BBQ lets the Honey part shine through. The Jamaican Jerk is about medium heat with the cinnamon jerk flavor that you should at least try. If those flavors are not for you, I recommend the Bourbon Glaze and Honey Sriracha. Service was top notch and there are plenty of TVs around to watch any game you want. Beef O Bradys need to start building some more up here in the Midwest. read more

But that stopped about 2 years ago, after a string of "disappointing" visits where the service was just pathetic. Tonight I decided to come back with the hope that things would be different. We visited on March 13 around 6PM. We're placed at table immediately but the noise was very loud from someone at bar. It continually got worse and people at tables were all staring at this man who was with a group. It was so bad I had to turn my hearing aids off. On top of that, was the foul language and cussing he was using. Many tables had children with them. I would think a place like this would ask them to leave because one person was negatively effecting the whole place. We go there often and love the food. My Wife was scared because they kept drinking more and doing shots. She was afraid of what might happen next, so it was a terrible experience. Someone in group tried to quiet him down but they just were cussed out. Restaurant did nothing. If you were at a table you had to talk very loud to your partner to be heard. These teenagers came in and were so very disrespectful to a table of seniors next to them. It was disconcerting. Not too good. My steak burrito was mostly rice, onions and peppers. The meat was these tiny pieces of steak ! No sour cream or guacamole was served alongside. The raspberry ice tea was watery. They have a nice outdoor area but indoors is mostly favorable for viewing sports not for relaxed dining. I hardly ate the food, didn't even bother to take it home for the dog. When the rumors of Beef O Brady's arrival to town started, the only way that it was ever described as was being a Buffalo Wild Wings rip-off. Sure, this place has wings, burgers and the like, but I just had some pretty spectacular ribs from Beef O' Brady's, something that B-Dubs doesn't even offer. We've been a few times and I've so far liked everything I've ordered. Past meals include chicken tacos, wings, burgers, sandwiches. I haven't tasted anything that I didn't like (my favorite was always the tacos.) The service is usually pretty good, but they do get really busy during sports games as they have a ton of TVs. Here's the breakdown of our take out dinner tonight: -St Louis Ribs: really fantastic, and a lot better than I was expecting. The sauce was good and the ribs had some kind of tasty dry rub on it. Only complaint was we did take out and didn't get any wet naps in our bag. -Cole slaw: this was a miss for me. I've had a lot of great cole slaw in my life and this was too watery for me. -Curly fries: pretty good and reminded me of Arby's curly fries. Could have been the same recipe. -Beignets with caramel dipping sauce: One of my favorite desserts, but these were only okay. I would probably order them again whenever the craving hit, as I'm pretty sure this is the only place in Kankakee county that serves them. While I still prefer the wings at B-Dubs, Beef O Brady's has a lot of great options that make them a good option too whenever you're craving some greasy pub food. The onion rings appetizer was great. Our waitress forgot to order it, so it took about a half-hour to get, but we enjoyed it. Our entrees were the fish & chips and 6 oz sirloin. The fish didn't taste fresh, not liked the coleslaw that was definitely past the time it should have been served, but had that "I've been in the freezer a while" taste. The sirloin came medium, not rare like I ordered, but it was tasty and tender. The fries that come with both our orders were good. I ate more than I usually do. read more

After waiting and waiting we asked where my drink was and was told the bar was backed up. Not enough customers for the bar to be backed up. Ordered 6 chicken wings as an appetizer. $10.99. I do understand food prices have gone up but ouch. When the wings arrived I still didn't have my drink so I asked for a Diet Coke and cancelled my drink order. When the waitress came back with my Diet Coke she explained that the ticket for my drink was lost at the bar. For a meal I ordered a Steak Bowl and hubby ordered the Surf and Turf. Now this is a restaurant I can get behind, now many times I have been blessed with the opportunity to dine at this glorious restaurant and almost every time I turn down the offer. One may ask "why would you do that?" well the simple conclusion I have come to is, I am just not really a fan of their food, but is that really the only qualification to a good restaurant? The environment is lackluster, I am not old enough to enjoy any alcoholic beverages (legally haha), and I cannot recall the customer service so clearly it is not memorable. What I will say is that the name of this restaurant is potentially the best name in restaurant history, the location is fantastic as it is right next to my favorite grocery store of all time, Jewel Osco, and from what I remember the mini corn dogs were exquisite. I would probably choose any other restaurant over this one, due to the fact that the only thing that sounds even half way appetizing are the corn dogs, but I would still highly recommend it to anyone else that is not myself or any close friends/family. I ordered a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger for lunch and had it delivered. I paid nearly $15 after delivery fee and tip. I couldn't even eat it. The bacon looked like it had barely even been cooked and my burger was REALLY over cooked. The fries I got were completely mushy and gross. A couple of my co-workers had ordered as well and they only had a small handful of fries with their order. When I called to complain all I was told was that "we cannot give you your money back" and they offered to send new bacon. I ended up picking around all of the bacon and eating just the burger patty. Everything else wasn't even edible. Crossing my fingers that I don't get sick from the bacon being so raw. The best they could do is send me a gift card for the amount I paid, which, hopefully someone will buy off of me because I will not be using it any time soon... read more
