My husband and I went to the restaurant at 6 PM. The waiter was acting very strange and we smelled alcohol on his breath. When he brought the food it was not what we had ordered. He took it back to the kitchen and then a woman came to our table. Don't know who she was. She said the waiter was confused and asked us what we originally ordered. It took an hour and a half to get our food. The food was delicious but the experience with the waiter was very odd. Seemed like he was drunk. He never made eye contact and looked into space when speaking to us. He was mumbling weird things. The whole experience was bizarre. No one offered a discount on our check for the strange experience of even apologized. In our opinion he should be fired. read more

When I went to Applebees I had the pleasure of having dean as my waiter. His miraculous charm was unmatched. Very funny and welcoming and considerate to me and my lady. Highly suggest going and requesting him. Also the host chase was nice as well. read more

This was one of the best Applebee's meals. I was with my parents and my 3 year old. The waiter was so great. Our dinners were delicious. I love the Tex mex chicken bowl and this bowl was the best. The perfect amount of all ingredients. My waiter also brought me out a cup of the spicy sauce for the bowl which was awesome! One of the best things that happened today is our waiter brought out my son's meal with our appetizer! This was so great because it is hard for the little ones to have to wait. Two bad experiences in a row with food quality. Firs was breaded shrimp that was undercooked and mushy. Asked to have it cooked longer and when came out was till undercooked had to have them continue to cook it. Then 3 weeks later ordered a steak medium and it was rare. No, I know medium has a bit of pink in the center. This whole teak was blood red from 1/8 in from outside. There is a serious lack of training and oversight in the kitchen. Fryer temperatures need monitored as well as the grill. I won't be back. Only a matter of time before someone gets food poisoning. Waitress wasn't very attentive either didn't check on food or offer refills on drinks. read more

Service was awful! Called in orders twice and didnt get my food at carside. I went in and couldnt get waited on. Waitresses came out of kitchen and sat down to eat food. Bartender was talking to customers and told me after 9 they dont come out to your car. I told her the website doesn't say that and she said shes supposed to do that but she can't see that far out the window. I wanta give a shout out to a wait staff employee, his name was Xavier & he was phenominal, we had a group of 5, including 2 kids & he took our orders without writing any of it down, it all came out quickly & correct, he didn't ask if you needed your drink refilled he just brought another, he was good, a real asset to Applebee's. I have been coming here for years, I have never had a bad experience. Service is always quick and never disappoints. Today was very different. My chicken was highly uncooked. I had a terrible experience with my server Jesse. He did not interact with me or my husband Newman at all. We were there for over an hour and a half and waited for our bill for 30 minutes. he did not pick up our bill from our table for about 20 minutes. The restaurant was about half full and the hostess was very rude and said that there was a 45 minute wait for a seat- bar included. Had to wait 20 for a mediocre meal. The mozzarella sticks were old and very chewy. My son's hamburger was over cooked and I send my steak back to to have it recooked to the way I ordered it. The baked potato was over cooked and crunchy, that was the inside. The only good things were the drinks and the fries. Id like to start by saying the woman at the car side delivery was very friendly. When I got home and we started eating we were very disappointed at the quality of the food. It definitely was not worth the money paid... the pasta we ordered tasted microwaved, one of our salads did not have the requested dressing and the croutons in both salads tasted stale. When I ordered online it said my order would be ready by 6:51... I checked in about 7:02 through the email and still waited til 7:13 til my food was delivered to my car... also, the curbside experience seems very disorganized and poorly maintained... there were several cars parked with me that weren't greated and were waiting quite some time. I understand it's saturday night and probably very busy but honestly we will probably never eat at Applebee's ever again after this experience. read more

Their Steak and Potato Salad ain't a bad way to eat healthier. I really didn't want to come here and had no idea what to get, so that's what I randomly ordered. It has spinach, red peppers, onions, steamed potatoes, sirloin steak medallions, basil, a creamy vinaigrette, and hard-boiled eggs. That being said, it was favorably reminiscent of a spinach and bacon salad my mother makes with a warm dressing. The Maple Butter Blondie is one sizzling dame of a dessert that comes to your table spittin' like a fajita yet goes down easy like the best pie a la mode. Chopped walnuts are scattered about the cast iron plate, a scoop of ice cream melts atop the chocolate-deprived brownie, and a warm metal cup of a white, liquid custard called a "maple butter sauce" sits off to the side waiting to be poured onto it all. Applebee's does desserts well. As we sat and ate on a rainy Saturday night, loud techno music played and the manager awkwardly sang karaoke in an attempt to liven up the clientele, which leaned heavily towards elderly people and families. Applebee's will never be a nightclub. A memo needs to be sent out. read more

Pretty average. The atmosphere is nice, the décor is good, the service is good, the food is pretty average, really. Not as good as previous years. The shrimp and the burger that I 've gotten recently aren't that special, although I got a couple steaks last year and those were really good. It's hit or miss. This is the only Applebee's location that i will go to. All the others disappoint in comparison. I even set up my last book club here. A party of 13 and we had excellent service. Our waiter was on the ball! Not only was he quick to get our orders, but he also humored us and made us laugh. It was a great experience for everyone and the food here is always done up to their standards. I love the quesadilla burger and their strawberry daiquiri. And if you save room for dessert, get one of the Sundae Shooters. Great, friendly service here. Great food. And it's all at a very affordable price. read more

What an inept and incompetent hostess (Katelyn). I am very familiar with call ahead seating and how it works, no issue with that process, we use it often. We entered tonight Dec 4 at 7:16 pm, no one in line. The hostess said she would have to clean a table for us. She came back, gathered our silverware and stopped as a family cane in the door. She asked their name and they said they had phone ahead. So she turned around (we were behind her to go to table) and said she could not seat us since they had phone ahead. She came back and said she would clean another table for us. The same sequence of events happened again. The second family that came in (after she came back to get us for seating a second time) did not say they had phoned ahead but she (Katelyn) told us she thought they did. She told us we would be "next." Don't think so, we are now fiend the street at Zooky's where we have had great service. read more

Had the steak med., chicken with shrimp, mushrooms and potatoes. 3rd night had salmon with rice broccoli, the salmon was very good and not dried out! Best steak in the area: New Orleans steak with red potatoes and onions (I pass on the mushrooms, personal preference). My family and I love to get food here, the three of us split the appetizer sampler, my son gets a steak, my fiance gets a sizzling fajita. It can get a little pricy for us, but when we can afford it, we get it. The curbside ordering is very convenient - just call ahead, and it'll be ready at the specified time. They made one mistake one time, but immediately made up for it with a gift card. Occasionally, eating inside can get a little slow on the service. Food is still just as great, but I think I get the new waitress every time I go in. Not always the fastest or mist knowledgeable young lady, but I get taken care of just the same. read more

After a very stressful few months my boyfriend and I finally managed to slip away for a late dinner last night and I can honestly say I wish we would have picked anywhere else but here. There were only two other people in the restaurant but it still took a while for someone to come and seat us. After the bartender (who seemed very pleasant) finally came over, he walked us past 4 or 5 dirty tables before we finally got to our booth. I use to waitress, I know that there was absolutely no reason this section should look like this but whatever. We had a seat in our booth and a very annoyed looking waitress came over and took our drink order, when she brought them back about 10 minutes later...in an empty restaurant..she seemed slightly less annoyed, until my boyfriend asked a simple question about a menu item, then she looked at him like he had 2 heads. Our food arrived pretty quickly and was very good, but throughout our dinner we were forced to listen to our waitress sitting just a few feet away from us at the bar loudly complaining about how her coworkers are sleeping with each other, not doing their jobs, and all hate her. We gave up on out conversation and ended up just listening to her drama. She never came back to check on us until it was time to bring the check and when she finally did bring the check she started complaining about her job/coworkers to us?!? Seriously we got all the inside information (omg?!?) so once we finally got away from her we walked back out past the still dirty tables and I got in the car regretting even leaving a tip and we promised never to go back to that location. Wish I could give a no star but that's not an option on here. Just walked out of that place. There were at least 12 tables available, front door employee are so freakin slow it's pathetic. Seemed that there were more people in line waiting to be seated than people seated... there was nobody at front station for a long time. we tried to flag down a couple of employees and they said they didn't know anything about the front area ... when the front attendant finally got back she started checking people that were hovering over her instead of checking in the people that came in first. She rudely grabbed menus and nodded to some customers then walked off to never-land... we couldn't take it any more we left .... in my area I have over 15 places to go out to eat at and chose them, but I won't be doing that any more ... we went to a place down the road and even though it was really packed they had seated and with a drink in under 3min!!!! read more

The food is hit or miss. Service is usually good, except the wait staff seems to fool around a lot. Our server last time forgot to put in our order, and this time, she was flirting with the male waiters while we were waiting for her to come get our bill. Atmosphere is nice though, and the bar drinks are good. However, we usually only go because it's close to us, and we somehow always have gift cards.
